Having had to take my young cat to the vet after she was attacked by the local feline "hood", I was really impressed by all the staff at Easipetcare. The atmosphere was friendly and the vet dealt with the problem with care, explaining exactly what she would be doing to take care of the wound which has healed with no need for a return visit. I can thoroughly recommend Easipetcare, not only for their professional approach but also for excellent value for money.

Well what can I say these vets are the best!!! i have 2 dogs which I have taken to them for the last 3 years and I have always had a fab service!! The reception staff who I always have a giggle with and they are always so helpful so sometimes if you have to wait can have a chit chat to pass the time! Now the Vets are totally amazing especially Louise who treats my girls! service second to none and always goes the extra mile! And bonus as the costs are a lot cheaper so helps! :o) Reading some of the reviews on here about the staff being rude it must be the people with the wrong attitude in the first place as I have never had a problem!!

Reading Branch. They took a payment from me and paid it into someone else's account, and then demanded the payment, proof of payment was given to them, they recognised their error and said that this was paid back to me, it wasn't. Now they won't discuss the accounts and give proof of the monies paid for what treatments and where my incorrect payment has gone. The correct amount they claim I owe is less than the missing incorrect amount. Suspect that the Branch Manager is covering up a mistake by denying communication.

I originally registered my cat here because it was the cheapest option. Whilst it was great to get her first vaccines and micro-chip here, I would definitely not get her neutered here.

The guy I had my first appointment with didn't seem to understand much English and forgot to give us her de-worming pills, he also just let my cat run around the room trying to hide behind anything possible. The vet on our next appointment was much more experienced and managed to give my cat her vaccine in her carrier!

Will be going to a local vet from now on.

Until they were take over by another company these vets were a sensible price and were worth going to as staff were good and although not state of the art, the consult rooms were ok. Now the staff seem over worked and rooms are left untidy with dog hair on the tables and various things left on countertops. Staff are not as happy as they were. Let s hope the manager sorts this out as it is worth being a client as the vets do have the well fair of the animals at heart.

It might appear to be a cheaper vet option, but if there's a more complicated issue you will end up paying more. Most of the vets are young and inexperienced so they cannot diagnose correctly or don't feel like taking the responsibility, so refer you to specialists or the vet hospital (so the bills become much higher). Staff at Reception is appallingly rude and unprofessional. So, fine for routine checks and jabs (which also will avoid prolonged contact with the receptionists!) but that's about it

The vets are nice and the reception is ok. The problem is when we brought our cat, they completely forgot to check his paw which we had told them to check multiple times and they really should of check by themselves as he had cut the leg above and turned out he had a really nasty cut on his paw they looked over because it was not the main wound. To be fair it was in a hard time and the wound was in the middle of his claws. But overall they seem great and probably only did this due to the virus so I would definitely give them a visit and they are really cheap .

Easypet care has by far got to be the best vet.. S...

Easypet care has by far got to be the best vet.. Sadly my cat was hit by a car and had severe injures to the back end of his body. After visiting out of hours vets also my local vet I felt as if there was no help for me. I contacted easypet care and from the first phone call I had a clear response and was very shocked and couldn't believe the price they told me as it was less then half The price I had been quoted by other vets. Once I arrived at easypet care I had a lovely warm welcome from the receptionists who we're very caring and understanding. They didn't keep me waiting as they could see how much pain my cat was in. They comforted my car with love and affection as if he was their own, they gave me all options to choose from once they had checked my cat out, to my fear the best advise was for my cats leg to be amputated. I was comforted and talked through the whole surgery and procedure and my mind was put at rest, through the two day stay I was constantly calling to see how's cat was doing and I always had lovely responses from them stating that he's had cuddles, attention and how they had found a soft spot for him. (All animal lovers will see where I am coming from) after surgery once he was fit and well I was able to collect him. I remember walking through the doors and that warm welcome to say my cat is doing great, when I saw my cat after surgery I was surprised on how clean and tidy they had kept him and very neatly done. I was talked through all the after care and treatment very well explained. When visiting easypet care for my after care check up they was fantastic and you could see the love they had for these animals. When walking in members of staff came over and fussed all over him. I would highly recommend this vet to everyone as it has a fantastic service, staff and have to mention you are not being ripped off, you receive honest options. I can not thank easypet care enough for what they have done for me.

I have always been consulted by the most polite, friendly, caring, patient and knowledgeable vets.
The fees are so much lower than at most other practices.
It is always a pleasure to go there with the exception of the inevitable sad conclusion.
All vets I have had the pleasure of seeing have been so compassionate and have taken time to explain issues.
I can't say enough to express how excellent this service is. Even the odd long wait on a busy day is worth it for the fact that there are drop-in times.

Discovered a lump on my dog's upper back, took her in to see a vet, first time I've been here, excellent service, advised me that they could remove the lump and have her spayed in one go, and lump could be sent off for biopsy, all costs explained and very reasonable. Day of surgery everything went well, after care was wonderful. 3 days later for follow up check, both nurse and vet extremely friendly, and put me and my dog very much at ease. Hopefully won't need anymore treatment, but will not hesitate to go back. Wonderful team, well done.

Although I think the vets and nurses were very caring and good with the pets i was disappointed. My dog went to be spayed and microchipped. The surgery didn't break my bank and was over quickly. When i picked her up the vet said she was fine and had been enjoying cuddles with the nurses. On the journey home my dog was screaming and biting me, we stopped and called the vets. They had failed to mention that she had been doing this there too though, she obviously hadnt been having a cuddle! I worked out the issue (she hates needles and they put her harness on straight after the op, it was rubbing where she was injected), no thanks to the vets! Obviously this was specific to my situation and at the follow up appointment the vet was very apologetic and gave us some treats!

After reading some of the negative reviews on here regarding the attitude of the staff, I have to completely disagree. My cat has been treated at this practice, needing an amputation of one of one of his legs. The care from the receptionists, the nurses and the vets during this difficult process and then the aftercare were second to none & I would recommend the practice to anyone. I will say that some of the verbal abuse the receptionists receive is totally unnecessary, this is not in their job role !

I cannot be more thankful for Easipetcare. In particular, Anca. Without Anca, I don t think I would have my best mate around much longer.

From the moment we took him in, Anca treated him and us with professionalism and urgency. She attempted the impossible to try and remove a large tumour, knowing the outcome would almost certainly lead to amputation. We were prepared for that and had accepted it. Sadly, it did lead to him having a leg amputated, but we knew that Anca had a huge challenge on her hands and did all she could to save not just his leg, but his life.

Thanks to Anca, we ve got our mate back and it could have ended so much worse. Her empathy, understanding, advice and support throughout has been incredible.

Anca, I cannot thank you enough! From pre-op exams to aftercare, you have been amazing. I think our boxer has been more excited to see you than us at times!

5 STARS!!! (Please pass on directly to Anca).

Brought my rabbits in for a routine vaccination wh...

Brought my rabbits in for a routine vaccination which turned out to be a nightmare. Thanks to Gonzales who would not give up trying to make sense of the Vaccination card - luckily he did. We eventually found out that the injections I had paid for back in April, which should have been for the deadly disease VHD 2 , had in fact never been given. All these months I thought my rabbit was protected, and having had six who had died horribly from VHD 2 three years ago it means everything for my rabbits to have this jab. This is what you get for handing your pet through a window ( during Covid) and not being able to talk to the vet . Also, I ( my rabbit ) could have wreaked havoc on other rabbits when I take them to be boarded when I m away. She rightly insists all rabbits have the VHD 2 . Turns out the vet that saw Dolly in April ( who I never saw as I was kept outside) decided without telling me or asking me , NOT to give Dolly her VHD 2 jab , but instead gave her the Combi Myxi jab. Which does not protect against this killer disease. Dolly runs around a cordoned off piece of garden nearly all day with her son. I cringe at the thought during fly season, and birds landing all around. I was absolutely fuming with her and told her so. She had no right to change my rabbits vaccination, not tell me , and worse let me believe Dolly had had her jab. Disgusting.

Today we had to put our dog to sleep as he got worse with his spine condition. When we were ready to put him down we called the vets over a million times and their answer was you will have to hold on. Yes we r in the middle of a pandemic but our dog was suffering excruciating pain. There was no sympathy shown or any advice. Luckily we managed to relieve him from his pain at CastleVets. But really they were ready to turn down a dog who was in so much pain he couldn t even walk. May our dog rest in peace.

Well after reading some of these reviews thankfully AFTER my visit to this wonderful practice or I may never have gone..crazy how reviews can be so different but I received excellent service from everyone including the Reception staff who were most helpful & empathetic.I was in bit of a state when I arrived as my dog Toto was yelping with pain but they were quick to react, managed to calm me down firstly(quite a task as I was near to tears) and gave me assurance..one of the young ladies(can't recall her name Laura or Lauren?) was so kind to me I could've hugged her..the vet was fantastic & gave me step by step on what was going to happen & my darling Toto was fine within minutes..aftercare was second to none & to be honest I can't thank them all enough! I guess they have to take a lot of flack from us animal loving public so maybe some people aren't as polite as they should be to the staff but I for one couldn't possibly recommend them enough..

WARNING EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMERS SERVICE, NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THEM!! The receptionist had a serious attitude problem and spoke to me like she couldn't care less! I phoned to book an appointment but I was told they don't take bookings, you just turn up and i was promised my dog would be seen with 10 minutes of waiting so I turned up, paid for a 3 hour ticket in the carpark only to be told by the rude receptionist woman that there was a 2 hour wait! Now this is on a day where it's 35 degrees outside and my poor dog was panting. No sign of any water bowl down for dogs in the waiting area. The waiting area is tiny so you have no choice but to wait at the main entrance which is not good enough so I took my dog to a suitable dog walking around which I had to drive to as there is no where to walk dogs near the vets so there goes my 3 hour parking ticket wasted. Now baring in mind the receptionist told me to come back in 2 hours. I made my way back 30 mins early to be on the safe side. I got back to the vets only to find they are making me wait another 2 hours!! That's 4 hours waiting when I was promised to be seen within 10 minutes!! Really unprofessional, rude and no consideration for the poor animals on a very hot day!!

I have reported this to the RSPCA who are going to look into the matter!

My 3 year old dog has recently been castrated and also a split nail removed and I cannot fault the surgical and qualified veterans. but the reception staff on the other hand are extremely rude abrupt and unhelpful. Upon arrival my dog was a bit on edge as he rarely goes to a vet and was quite busy with other dogs and as per normal reaction of a dog my dog started to bark and within 20 seconds a receptionist strutted towards me saying I can't hear on the phone you need to move over hear your distracting, to which I was escorted to a single room to wait, I apologised and said sorry he's a bit anxious to which she replied again saying well I can't hear the phone. After his surgery I had a call to say he was ready for collection ...(he had been there a total of 1 hour) the reception said you need to collect him he's getting distressed to which I replied it wasnt a problem but surely he must need recovery time to which she said he's been recovering for long enough and went down for surgery at 8.30 ( I arrived at the vets at 8.55) her awful attitude and service along with another receptionist has put me off coming hear ever again unfortunately as I mentioned before the qualified staff were amazing and even had to apologise for the other members saying they must have got out of the bed the wrong side... not good enough such a shame.
