The pool is in a separate building, you have to go outside to get there. I feel like they should mention this on their website. It was a deal breaker for me, for sure. Also, it will cost you an extra $20 to use this "amenity". If you are going with your kids to swim, as we were, I would pass. Not family friendly.

Played a round of golf and then visited their spa. The course is in great shape. The greens were very slow due to prior precipitation, but the course is well manicured. The spa staff is is attentative and knowledgeable as well. Great experience thus far.

Loved it. Great old school Poconos feel (to me). Really nice golf and a super Businessman Late Special. $37 for cart, golf and rentals. All you can play after 5pm. Nice sports bar, lobby bar and bowling alley. Food was surprisingly good and varied.

Played the front 9 of the golf course and thought the course was well maintained, challenge and fun. It was a great venue for a work and networking event. The outside deck was nice and the food was tasty. I would go back and recommend Eaglewood.

I was only there for a work retreat that lasted two days, but despite drinking plenty of water the dry air was a bit much. My nose even bled at one point. The main ballroom we were in was either too cold or too hot at any given time. The bed was too firm and despite having six pillows there wasn't a variety of them (e.g. down, cotton), they too were all too firm, so I didn't sleep well. The balcony view was at least nice and everything was clean. The downstairs bar area was perfect for drinks, karaoke and dinner with co-workers. The staff and most of the food were nice as well.

Great space, but seemed bathrooms could use some maintenance, they were sloppy on the tile caulk and there was soapscum. Bed was a bit stiff like a board not soft and melt into, but aside from that the location, the surroundings, the food, the ascetic, all worth it.

We didn't choose this hotel, it was chosen for us by British Airways due to a delayed flight. It was certainly a drive from the ORD, in a residential area. The building itself was sizeable and appeared to have several meeting rooms and conferences going on. When we arrived the staff was very friendly, and check out was equally friendly. We didn't encounter any rude or unhelpful staff, including restaurant staff. They were reliable in booking transport back to the Airport for us, good service at the restaurant, considering it was busy with a lot of unexpected British Airways guest. The morning buffet was great, too. Our room had a view of the golf course, it was nice (however I'm not a golfer, so I wouldn't really know for sure). The rooms had ample amenities and the bed was nice. The hotel itself was generally cleanish, but it felt a bit tired. It seems like they've done some updates over the years, but it doesn't feel new, that's for sure. The biggest "miss" in my mind was that with all their restaurants, etc, they need to have room service. After a long day, we didn't want to sit in the hotel restaurant for a late dinner. However we didn't have a choice: we had to go down to the restaurant, sit, order, and get all our food to go. I watched several other guests carting food and beverages through the lobby. It just felt tacky.

This was a nice resort. I went during the off season so there was not a lot of people around which gave me and my friends an opportunity to rest and relax. The pool and spa area are not in the hotel but in a separate building next door. Be aware if you go during the winter time and dress accordingly.

I attended the hotel as an overnight guest after staying for a wedding. The service from the Eaglewood staff was amazing. They can fulfill any requests that you have. It is a very relaxing hotel to stay at for recreation.

Nice hotel. Unfortunately our room (501) had an obstructed view of the property that we were not informed of. Amenities were limited. No refrigerator in room. Breakfast buffet was good but pricey. The chef for one letter was exceptional .

Just spent a 3 day weekend for a couple's retreat. The resort was amazing, the food was great and the staff was outstanding for any need that arose. Eddie and Scott provided outstanding customer service the entire stay! The resort was able to handle 450 people smoothly and easily! Great job to all!

Staff was very friendy. Room was nice and clean, hotel was a little tough to navigate, but signs and maps are helpfully mounted on walls. The grounds outside are beautiful, but u was unable to visit them.

Very classy and clean. The staff is very helpful and kind. I came for a youth leadership conference, and it was so wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints. I utilized the pool and jacuzzi and it was very clean.

Place is ok, but food disappoints. Glorified motel continental breakfast for over 20 bucks! Calling a regular sliced loaf of supermarket bread "artisanal" doesn't justify the price for basic Sysco buffet.

Our room was clean and decently sized. There were several outlets on each side of the bed as well as some on the desk. The hotel also provides a fantastic shuttle service where they will drive you to anywhere within three miles of the hotel. This was my second stay there, and I'd definitely stay there again if I have another event near there in the future.

The bed was fine, but the bathroom was obviously in need of a redo. Old tile with some areas of mold and mildew stains. The food was pricey, which is expected, but it wasn't very good. 18 dollars for the breakfast buffet that was pretty disappointing, not nearly as many options as you'd expect for a price that high.

The Market, restaurant, spa, and bowling close at 10 during the winter season. Bar closes at 10:30. If you're looking for a cheap room it isn't too bad but if you're trying to get the "resort" experience I think it's lacking.

Totally exceeded my expectations. The room we had was perfectly appointed and situated with a view of the golf course. Also we unexpectedly had a great view of the evening entertainment from our balcony. In fact it was the evening entertainment that really made my stay. In this age of COVID 19 it was a pleasant surprise to go somewhere and have something enjoyable to see/do that involved others. We took advantage of the offering as we ate dinner and continued to enjoy it from the privacy of our room.....made for a wonderful evening. Things almost felt normal again......almost.

My friend and I stayed here for a couple nights to have a full spa weekend. The staff at both the hotel and the spa are extremely friendly and accommodating. Top notch people. They were wonderful!
The Marketplace is a nice little snack joint with a lovely array of choices for your late night cravings, but the cashier told us they close at 8? That was kind of a bummer.I definitely recommend the breakfast buffet at Burnham's...delicious variety of options and made to order omelette bar!
However, the Prairie River dining experience left a lot to be desired from beginning to end. Poor service in a virtually empty restaurant. Watered down, flat drinks. The food was way overpriced and under quality. Had to actually go to the front desk with issues because our server was MIA.
That said, the manager was understanding, remedied the situation and comped our bill. Not sure I'd go back to that restaurant though.
Our room was definitely clean and comfortable...pretty view, balcony, crisp sheets, comfy blankets & pillows, but didn't have any small amenities like a coffee pot or mini fridge or much information about things within the hotel or room services.
Upon closer looks, some things could use a little extra maintenance attention...a sconce was broken, some upholstery cleaning and the balcony could use a power wash. Nothing huge, just some TLC.
The same could go for the pool area. It was great, but the steam room was actually quite moldy and like the balconies, the whole area needed a powerwash. Strange those types of things are neglected considering how clean the rooms and the Spa are. They could REALLY use a breezeway between the hotel and the spa/pool building.
Our Spa experience was wonderful! Over two days, we had a mani pedis, facials, scalp massages, wraps and 90 minute massages. Nice treat!!
I would say overall, this place is affordable, comfortable with a very accommodating staff. Some minor changes and it could be perfect!

Just an ok place to stay. From a family perspective there s many other nicer, more suitable options in the Chicago area.
There s not easy access to the rooms. You have to carry your luggage and children for what seems like miles to get from your car to your room. You can be a little closer, but then you have stairs to tackle.
The pool is the same way. It s in a separate building across the parking lot! We planned to swim on a rainy day during our stay. We got drenched on the way to and from the pool because it s a long walk. Thankfully it s summer time. We wouldn t have made the trek in the cold months.
There s no refrigerator in the rooms. Again not ideal for families. So when your children want some milk you have to walk forever to the market near the lobby and pay nearly $4 for a cup of milk.
The bed was big and comfortable. The carpet had stains. The bathtub was old and worn and the subway tile was moldy. The balcony was moldy as well. Since I have children I travel with bleach cleaner and cleaned it myself.
The housekeeping staff is stingy. I suppose it s part of their green initiative. Our towels were only restocked at half of what were available when we arrived. Except for washcloths. Only 1 of those were replaced even though we left four to be taken. No extra toilet paper was left either. So when my son ran out he had to use tissues because I couldn t leave him for the 15 minutes it takes to get to the lobby and back.
We stayed here because it s where my husbands brand contracted with. Luckily for us his company will pay for our accommodations wherever we choose. We will not be returning to Eaglewood.

Everything was good or great. The room was spacious enough for two. The balcony is one of the largest I've had in a hotel. The only downside was there was no refrigerator in our room, so if anyone wants cold water bottles or needs a place to store leftovers, some rooms may leave you wanting this. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, especially the bartender downstairs. Would recommend.
