The Epiphany is a great hotel conveniently located in downtown Palo Alto. The staff went out if their way accommodate us from printing running route maps to ensuring we had everything we needed for our on site business mtg. The decor is nice and the rooms are well appointed with higher end touches like illy espresso makers. I will definitely stay again.

This was a special stay for us, essentially right next door to Stanford University! You can stay here for leisure and enjoy the facilities and neighborhood and like I mentioned is a perfect place to stay if visiting Stanford. Many eateries surround this facility! You will certainly enjoy this hotel as it is very chic and the food is incredible! Parking is self or valet, once that is navigated you will find a staff completely committed to your enjoyment!

We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the Stanford campus and great places to eat (The Creamery and Philz Coffee). The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The staff in the restaurant was not as service oriented as the rest of the employees in the hotel.
We would certainly come back!

I have stayed at your hotel twice now. The location, rooms and use of the health club are all terrific. The service is mixed with the room service being particularly problematic. I ordered dinner one night and couldn't get anyone to answer. When I finally got through, it was hard to place my order and it came late with an item missing. I ordered breakfast using the door hanger and it never showed up. I called room service twice and it rang through to voice mail. When I was checking out, I mentioned that I never got my breakfast and the individual checking out next to me also said that he never got his breakfast.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, fabulous food and super friendly staff. I stayed there on a business trip for six nights in an amazingly beautiful and super clean suite. Conveniently located near Palo Alto's restaurants and shopping and at a walking/running distance of the ubiquitous Stanford University. Cindy and the teams have been great in ensuring my stay was just perfect, and I cannot thank them enough for such a great attention to details - truly exceptional!

We ate at the new restaurant, Nobu. Everything we had was excellent and the servers were polite, but not as discrete as you'd expect for such a nice restaurant. There were a few confusing interactions which resulted in is receiving food we didn't order. But small kinks are forgivable during opening week. Definitely worth returning.

Set 5 blocks from Stanford University campus, this contemporary, upscale hotel is also 4 blocks from Highway 82 and 17 miles from San Jose Airport.

The modern, sleek rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, minibars and espresso makers, plus flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and iPod docks. Some rooms provide city-view balconies, while suites add sitting rooms.

Complimentary perks include access to a fitness center and health club. There's an upscale regional restaurant and bar, along with a business center and 2 meeting rooms. Valet parking is available for a fee.

The Epiphany is a opulent boutique hotel right in the heart of Palo Alto. It has all the comforts of a high tech hotel that you could hope for. Jazz Buchla was exceptionally helpful during my stay. I had an excellent experience, and the restaurant in the hotel, Lure &Till was wonderful.

I don't have enough great things to say about the hotel and staff. We had a group of 20 people and Mary could not have been more accommodating. Each room had a welcome gift basket with a special note. The rooms are well designed and perfect in every way. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

I stayed here during a conference/meeting that was pre-arranged for us by our host. The hotel was quite nice, had great amenities like an espresso setup in the room, and for the most part was quiet.

The A/C could have been a little more effective (I like my room REALLY cold when I sleep) but it at least kept me comfortable and not sweaty.

The front desk staff was very responsive and even got me some additional espresso pods when I blew through all of mine the first day.

The restaurant had some good food and the open-air seating was a nice touch.

All in all it was a nice hotel and I would consider staying again if the price was right and I was in the area in need of a hotel.

We decided to spent one night in the hotel after a 4th of July party to avoid any driving issues. I called the morning of and asked if we could get an early check-in, and it was an immediate YES! No hemming or hawing or acting like I just asked for a gold plated toilet seat. We brought our little dog, and everyone oohed and aaahed like he was the cutest thing they ever saw (more points for Epiphany) - and they don't charge a deposit or extra rates for pets. The staff was all super friendly and seemed genuinely happy. The decor is amazing - all over the hotel. I could stare at the light fixture in the lobby forever. And the birds and trees in the room were stunning. I also loved the 'nightlight' embedded in the mirror. Little touches everywhere from the color schemes to the furniture.

The restaurant, Lure & Till is really nice - but two complaints: "Happy Hour" is only olives and nuts (and drinks) until 5pm even though HH is advertised from 3:30-5:30. That means you can only get HH food for 1/2 an hour. We also went back after our party for a drink but they only served beer and wine after 8pm. ?? I thought that was very strange for a hopping place in downtown Palo Alto.

Rooms were extremely large with a very utilitarian, modern design. Even though it was modern, it still was a very comfortable, warm, inviting space. I like that the toilet and shower room were separate, the desk with ample space, the HUGE TV, the Illy Coffee Machine, the Malin+Goetz toiletries, the balcony with a view, and of course, the comfy bed.

This is a very nice hotel. The interior of the room is very well designed and the bed is extremely comfortable. TV is nice with good audio effect and they also provide a bluetooth friendly speaker for playing music. The bathroom is also nice, although it did not provide a bathtub.

The location of the hotel is a gem. It is really close to downtown Palo Alto as well as the Bart station. You can also ride the complimentary bicycle from the hotel and ride to Stanford University enjoying the nice atmosphere and California breeze. All in all, pretty nice experience.

The only single thing I would like to comment its weird design of bathroom. The toilet is separated from the shower room, literally you have to walk to the shower room in order to wash your hand after using the toilet... to me it is a little bit inconvenient.

Hotel is kinda nice, very Japanese style. but service could be improved. 1) the in-room chrome cast won t work; IT guy came over trying to reboot but after 20min we had to give us. 2) in the morning, the elevator doesn t work and I had to go through the kitchen to get out dragging two luggages; plus there s no instructions on how exactly I should get out so I had to wonder around the kitchen a bit.

Even before booking room called Ralph to ask about nearby Dining & Shopping,he was incredibly helpful . Valet took the Benz & up to our we went, lobby & rooms very modern look . Upgrade to 7th floor was complimentary, whole floor was very quite & plush . Again happily surprised by room detail, Wifey loved the coffee maker . Ralph was perfect in his suggestions for dinner,Bird Dog was amazing .opened a bottle from our wine club in the bar downstairs for a night cap with its opened atmosphere . Friends suggested we have breakfast at creamery directly across street, we went early cause it did get crowded-Yumm . Our stay was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway after our long work week ! We definitely will be back .

Ate at Nobu Palo Alto. Fantastic food. We wanted to leave a nice bottle of wine for Larry in appreciation for him opening up a Nobu in Palo Alto, but the restaurant was not equipped to receive it.

Stayed here on a business trip. Got a spacious, comfortable room a short walk to any of the happenings in DT Palo Alto.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Valet parking charges were reasonable, and you can text the valet ahead of time so your car is ready without waiting.

Nice hotel, and very convenient location.

Nice hotel, and very convenient location.
Left my brand new iPhone 7 in the car and once I realized that 30min after, the phone was gone. FYI, valet at $35/day! The phone was returned later that evening by the manager. Scratched and without the SIM card. They claimed to have found it in the car. Still wondering how the SIM has left the phone by itself.
The iPhone was less than 24 hrs old. Went to the Apple Store, and they replaced it at zero cost. What a difference in customer service!

Useless to say, the hotel management charged me for the valet parking: memorable service!

First time at hotel. Great location and restaurant. Friendly staff and trying to be helpful. Valet is very disappointing! Send text message and was told that currently no valet is available! What good is a service when it does not work. Then had to wait for almost 30 minutes to get my car - making me late for my meeting...concierge suggested to credit me the parking fee, which is nice, but did not help in getting me where I needed to go in time.

This is a 5 star hotel. Comfortable, cozy, tasteful and elegant all at once. Stayed for a weekend getaway and I couldn't have been happier with the experience or price. The room design, the simplicity and the bathroom are all wonderful.

I've stayed in Big Sur, Berkeley, Europe, etc. and this competes with the finest hotel experiences that I've ever enjoyed. Not opulent but high end Japanese sophistication, easily one of my favorite places to stay and now replaces my previous favorite place to stay in the Bay Area.

Finally a JDV hotel in downtown Palo Alto! Everything was perfect, even the Stanford rate. Thank you for your great service. We will definitely be back on our monthly trips to Stanford.

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Palo Alto and close to restaurants, Stanford and shopping. The hotel is very friendly and the rooms are compact but well appointed and nicely decorated. Room service is prompt and friendly. Check in and out is quick and easy. Very nice boutique hotel albeit somewhat expensive.

A good friend of mine recently got married and we all stayed in the hotel. Our experience across the board was great. The staff was amazingly friendly and genuinely caring. It made our weekend much more enjoyable knowing the staff was always there to assist. The hotel was located in a good location and very clean/well designed.

Thanks!

This was the perfect location as it was close to my sons work and I could walk and shop during the day. We could walk and meet for lunch, not having to get in the car everyone we went. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap were excellent. We even bought some to take home. The staff was excellent and room service was great. Would stay again as it was a perfect location for us. Excellent hotel!

The Epiphany was a great hotel to stay and their service was WONDERFUL! Everyone from check-in to valet to maid service were all helpful and friendly and very welcoming! The hotel itself was modern and slick and the room was comfortable and luxurious! Also, the location was perfect to visit Palo Alto! I would definitely stay there again!

Great location. Rooms are very modern and the staff is exceptional. I really appreciate the car attendants and their promptness with brining my car. You can't park your car yourself. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was beautiful. The decor is soothing and well-done. The technology in the room -- Chromecast, Alexa, window shade settings -- was a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Epiphany twice now, and with each stay I grow more and more fond of it.

On my first stay, I was wooed most by the design of this boutique hotel - details like the lamp-shaped lights embedded in the mirrors, the mobile light fixture and patio stools on the mezzanine, and a doubled half chair installation near the bathrooms behind the Lure and Till. They even have an embroidered cloth bag for the tp!

On my second visit, and as the novelty of these clever details waned, my attention shifted to the staff. I have never received such warm and personalized reception anywhere in the world.

I would like to present a special mention to Marissa, who's handwritten welcome-back note and overall attention really made me feel home away from home, but the entire staff was attentive and welcoming and I'd really like them to know that this was much appreciated. My Uber driver even noticed the warm send-off and was much impressed! (Thank you Alex!)

Excellent hotel a walk away from University Avenue and all the Palo Alto restaurants. Has a good bar And restaurant terrace and you can use the gym across the street or go for a run at the Stanford Campus.
