We are 76 townhouses with a pretty extensive sidewalk system and a mature tree canopy. As a result, we periodically must reconfigure portions of sidewalks that have been damaged by tree roots.
In the past, we have always asked contractors to remove and replace the sidewalk segments that have separated from the level sidewalk. This is an expensive and wasteful approach. This year, we chose to accept E&F CONTRACTING S proposal to use a combination of walkway grinding and concrete raising using polyurethane injections instead of pouring new concrete. The resulting cost was perhaps one-third of the normal amount. Moreover, the E&F personnel were fastidious in their attention to detail, ensuring that our community is now a much safer place to walk; sidewalks are now much less likely to pond water that would freeze during cold spells.

E&F repaired some settlement issues with my concrete driveway and portions of my sidewalk. They were able to raise and re-level the areas quickly and economically, without the need for demo and reconstruct. The foam injection technology was able to target the specific areas that needed adjustment. Austin and Jake were knowledgeable and professional, and teh work was performed within the budget and schedule discussed prior to the start of the work. Will definitely use them again if the need arises.
