This is a wonderful dinner theater well worth the experience. The location is a bit hard to find (signage is hard to find and the building is set back on the property. ) Once you get there however, you will find a well maintained venue with tasty meals and excellent visual and sound. The production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was outstanding. You can tell the cast was having fun, and you will too.
We went to see wizard of oz. Show was great, however food was terrible. Meats were cold and fatty. Also same food. No variety from show to show. Food do send stay filled up. Not that you would want more after you tasted it. This food problem has been going on for awhile. As members we expect better.

Went the other day and had a blast. Was with work and seen Cinderella. I m a 28 year old man and enjoyed the show. The actors were amazing and did a great job. The food buffet was full of good food. If you enjoy musical definitely go.

The potato leek soup was very good as was the pork loin chop. The ladies did a great job with the show. Lots of laughs. Will be recommending this to friends.
What a wondeful place to get a great dinner and see an awesome show. My don took me for my birthday and it was his first time there and I had not been there in years. The food was amazing and the service was just as amazing as the food. We had a wonderful evening and are plan on going back again.
Traveled from the greater CINCINNATI area to see our 2nd show at the Dutch Apple. Both shows were equally entertaining! A Christmas Carol The Musical and most recently, Lucky Stiff. I couldn t help comparing Lucky Stiff to the original version of It s A Mad,Mad,Mad, Mad World - just hilarious moments of madness that makes one forget time and everyday stresses. And then, I closed my eyes when listening to Annabel Glick sing, and I felt like I was listening to Liz Callaway. Just pure and honest singing, colored with a yearning that tugged my heartstrings. EVERY cast member shined for sure! Dinner was delicious. Prime rib perfect. I wish we lived close by because we WOULD BE season ticket holders!
Food was delish! People push you to get through buffet but that s not the theater s fault. Shows are adorable. Not Broadway but very sweet.
Love the buffet. Maybe a an item or two I didn't care for but over all delicious. The show, The Wizard of Oz, was done well and very entertaining. Always try to see at least one show a year.

Buddy Holly Story - such a high energy show with great songs. I haven t enjoyed an evening this much in a long time. This show was the best dinner theater I ve seen since we moved to Lancaster four years ago. Service was very attentive. Food was above average for a buffet.

Crowded, lots of tables and people. The food is buffet style. At our table there were four of us, and we each had something different. All was pronounced delicious. Lots of food choices, as much as you wanted, from salad to dessert. The performance was full of energy and vibrancy. The singing was excellent. The story was set during and after WW 2. The story of swing dancing. Good food, good fun, good friends, terrific evening!

Went to see play last night. Food was horrible, chicken tenders were frozen, menu stated mashed potatoes and we received small red potatoes.
Had to ask for dipping sauce.
The show was ok, kinda corny.
We left at intermission.

Shows are ALWAYS great, but the food has been lacking the last few times I've been there. I don't know if they need a new chef, or what the deal is. Desserts even taste store-bought, which is kind-of a disappointment. My mom and I have been filling up on salad, more than anything else.
Small cozy venue. Dinner buffet is usually good but the matinee buffet food was cold and the chicken fingers were hard. The show was OK but the sets were minimal. Was there for a kids Christmas show so maybe that explains it.

Yesterday my son who has autism went with his school Quarryville elementary and seen knuckle bunny with a buffet lunch he was so happy last night he really enjoyed the play. Thanks
They have wonderful shows. Seating is adequate and food was good. Highly recommend seeing a show and if you need to spend a night they have a great hotel next door with a wonderful breakfast. The hotel will have packages to spend a night and get tickets for the show for a reasonable price.
This place is incredible. Great food......great staff.....very pleasant atmosphere. And the play we saw was the absolute best. ....A Christmas Carol. I highly recommend that everyone experience this place at least once. The best!!!

We just saw Holly Jolly Christmas. Thumbing your nose at the audience? Really? How disrespectful can you get toward people who are paying your salary and keeping you in business? That was totally uncalled for!
The buffet was very good. Restrooms super clean. Wait staff very helpful and friendly. The show was hilarious, we saw Clue.
We went on their 2nd week of reopening with the pandemic. They did a great job of distancing everyone and required masks throughout the evening except to eat dinner which was delicious. Not a fan of buffets but this was was done right. Exiting was done one row at a time. Felt safe being there.
Our Car Club comes here onece a year. Allway great food and plays.

Great place! Love the actors. They do a great work. Tasty food!! Love the buffet. Not much gf option on the desert table though. I just got ice cream. OH! They have local artwork hanging near the bathrooms in the back, for sale.
Always a delightful experience. The Buffett is just about always the same, but the food is good. Shows are wonder and being close the the actors and actresses is always a treat. We went one night where there was no buffet and instead had table service. Food came out quickly, was hot, well prepared and was fairly good. Servers were attentive and friendly.

Dutch Apple is great. My wife has dietary restrictions and they went above and beyond to prepare a meal for her. I cannot recommend highly enough. Shows are fantastic too!

I've attended two different shows here and have not been impressed. Despite being told the shows I've seen are family-friendly, they were not. The food is plentiful, but only ok. Their desserts are really good and they have a good variety available, but it's not enough to bring me back a third time.
This show was our third over the years and we left as jaw-droppingly impressed as the first two times! Can't recommend Dutch Apple enough! It's an investment in an experience that you won't regret!

The shows are really enjoyable and the buffet is reallybnice. A good selection of items to enjoy.
If this was just a theater, I'd give it five stars. But the dinner was so lackluster it loses two of them. Nothing stands out, but blah desserts, weak coffee, tough meats, limp lettuce, overcooked beans, just everything was meh. The show was fantastic!
The food, service, and show were all excellent. My Mom and I really enjoyed celebrating her birthday here.
My wife and I enjoyed a great lunch here along with the live Christmas Play ELF. Very nice clean environment. We will surely return again to enjoy another lunch/live play. Great entertainment.
