Place was decent. Hot tub was great. Pool was way too cold!!! For an indoor pool I felt it should have been heated. Andrew, I believe his name was, was the best at the front counter! Very personable, knew his way around town and gave us great advice. Also got us more coffee for our room.

Great location, however very poorly run. In a two night stay we had issues with a clogged tub (not resolved), broken phone (management showed no interest in fixing), very dirty pool, and the hot tub was the same temperature as a typical pool. The room seemed clean.

I loved this place! The staff very nice and attentive, the rooms were clean and quiet, the pool is amazing and covered, and the grounds are beautiful. Right next to Applebee's, so if you want to drink or eat it's very convenient.. also very close to the river! Beautiful place. Super close to everything downtown Durango

We were pulling a teardrop trailer and in the back they have a great place to park long vehicles. We had some trouble getting a room assigned but it was fixed up quickly. The location was great. Just a short walk to the downtown restaurants, breweries, and shops. It's not fancy, but it was clean and they are pet friendly and we travel with our 5 lb little dog. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Friendly staff. Quiet with a nice hot tub. Of course any place in Durango you will wake to the train whistle. King bed was comfortable. Small breakfast offering but lots of great places close by.

Did its job for an overnight stay. When we checked in the receptionist couldn t have been less enthusiastic a smile would have helped. We booked what I think was described as a quiet room which was to be fair but was around the back of the hotel next to the river which somehow didn t feel particularly safe.

The only issue I had was that all of the rooms are carpeted and this place allows dogs. If you have pets you know the "messes" they are capable of leaving. I felt the floors were not clean and simply wore my shoes at all times. If they allow pets then the floors should not be carpeted so that any mess can be properly cleaned up.

From help with online reservation, to a replacement toothbrush, the staff at the Inn were very kind and helpful. The room was clean, water nice, and the heater worked very well. I would stay here again.

Cute old-skool hotel that despite being a bit dated is SUPER clean (I was seriously impressed with the cleanliness). Only 2 block walk to Main Avenue where all the bars are, and the coffee in the lobby was the best I had in Durango (I'm not even joking-- it's really good 'lobby coffee'!)

After having to go to the office 4 times to get new keys for my room, the locks still wouldn't work and I had to move rooms. That's not the main issue, just completely frustrating. Then, funds from my credit card were held for over $40 more than they told me would be held. I figured that would drop off, no big deal. Then, the next day after I checked out and left town my credit card had a new hold on it for another $63. Now my card is being held for a total of $270. when I confronted them about this no one knew where the mysterious charge came from and they didn't even offer to look into it. My advice? Do not stay here- especially if you are paying with anything other than cash!

Nice room! Very comfortable and clean. Perhaps could do with updating but for the price and for our needs it was perfect. Location is only two blocks off main Street Durango, nice to be able to walk over to check out the various breweries/returants of Durango in the evening, but is far away enough from the downtown bustle a to get a good night's rest. Parking is no issue. Breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal and half-decent coffee. Would definitely recommend this for someone on a budget wanting to be close to downtown Durango.

BEWARE!!! The room had carpet stains everywhere and was very hot. The AC goes on and off all night waking you up, and you can't control it. I came here for the gym, but nothing works and the pool is too shallow to swim. Most of all, the General Manager is AWFUL and blamed me for my awful experience.

Stopped in Durango on the way to Ouray and, as we'd stayed here a while back, took a room here. Sadly, it's had a change in management and is a bit rundown...The gardens are neglected, the wallpaper was peeling in our room, and it smelled a bit musty. We found it difficult to sleep due to road construction overnight which, according to the staff, has been going on for some time. When our concerns were addressed with the management, he seemed rather defensive and uninterested.
We would not stay here or recommend this establishment.

The staff were nice, but the cleanliness was severely lacking. The pool room floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in a bit and there was a used bandaid stuck by the table. This was there from the time we first arrived, to when we left the next day. The bathroom was very tiny and being the door was filthy as if the maids never went all the way in and closed the door. Last, the room was advertised to sleep 5, but with two double beds and no space, it was really hard squeezing in that rollaway bed. The staff were very nice and accomadatijng.

front desk was friendly and we had an easy check in on 10/5/2018. We let the front desk know we wanted to pay cash and we were informed that they will hold the card till the following day and then we can pay cash at check out. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We went to check out on 10/6/2018 around 9:50 am and the female working the desk didn t acknowledge us, she signed for the fedex who was behind us and looked like she didn t want to work there . She asked us what room and said one second and then gave us the receipt . Didn t give us any time to talk before she charged us and we were waiting to speak so we could pay with cash. Once she gave us the paper and started to walk away and we asked if it was the receipt she said ya with a blank stare. We informed her we wanted to pay with cash and she said sorry . For the price we paid it would have been nice to have been treated with respect not like an inconvience. So heads up travelers.

Beware travellers. Although the motel is conveniently located, the staff is severely inept. During a 5 night stay with a block of 12 rooms, we had some our reservations sold to other guests on 2 separate occasions. Billing was a nightmare and took the manager an entire day to work it out... and it was still wrong upon check out. In addition, I was not overly impressed with the quality or cleanliness of the accommodations. My advice: stick to the hotel chains and avoid this establishment.

This was a great hotel! Adam was amazing, and helped us get a room even though Expedia overbooked the hotel. The room was very clean, morning staff was great, and checkout was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Durango, CO.
