Great smoked meat. Usually very busy on game nights but well worth the wait.

Fries is not good. I ordered club roll and it's nothing special even can't say its good.

A visit to Montreal is not complete without a smoked meat sandwich. I had the small sandwich with fries, coleslaw and a pickle on the side. This size was more than filling! I like they they asked if I wanted either vinegar or mayonnaise with my fries. My sandwich came out hot. Service was swift and friendly. Really enjoyed my tasty meal.

This is not representative of the smoked meat sandwich, which was excellent. The problem is the other food. Cold, dried out meatballs, pre-made (dry) apple crisp, slightly burned fries, and overcooked spaghetti made for a disappointing meal. Tough because of how great the titular sandwich is, but overall not a great experience. Needs to narrow the menu and cut out the pre made wastes of menu space.

The smoked Sandwich is good, the potatoes skin is nothing out of the ordinary and somehow pricy.

It's not the most dazzling of experiences. The food is okay and drinks acceptable. It's a plan B when everything else is full.

Excellent lunch special, hamburger steak...and the traditional. Open 24 hrs, great service and descent prices.

My friend and I had dinner there 2 days ago, and we both had food poisoning and spent Sunday throwing up (not actually joking)... The meat was clearly of extremely poor quality, and/or simply off. AVOID AT ALL COST

Had lunch here. I had the smoke meat sandwich with a pop. It's a very large sandwich for what you pay. The staff were friendly and the food came out from the kitchen very quickly. Over all it's a great place.

The food I had was horrible.

Cheeseburger was very undercooked and flavorless.

Chocolate shake tastes watery and tasteless . It even appeared not to have any chocolate.

Even pepsi didn't taste right.

We got the smoked meat poutine and it was very good. The portion was big enough for two people to share. We sat outside on their patio and was a bit small so go at an off peak time if you want to sit outside.

Food is amazing the server got to us fast. Would reccomend this place for some great poutine.

Finally get to visit the most traditional smoked meat places in town. Really enjoyed my food here! They also provide boxed smoked meat for you to have it at home!

They're open 24 hours AND they have vegetarian/vegan options. Can't complain!

We agree that it is SMOKE MEAT that we want when we come here !!!!! Open 24h, really cool service and present. Part "bar" separated From the dining room if you just want to go have a drink in having a waiter who passes nonstop next to us, because we agree that here the service they give! They are friendly smiling and hospitable! Perfect to go for a snack at the exit of a bar! Or just for a night food trip this is the place!

It's an awesome rubens sandwich. I had never eaten something like that before. For someone with a good appetite. Very visited place by simple people who are sad if there is no beer, happy if there is beer. You can make an arret stop to eat before going to enjoy a hockey game

Service was great and very accommodating for our two rambunctious kids (2.5 and 4 yo). A unique take on smoked meat (a lot of asian-style options with smoked meat). Not my top choice if you're looking for a "traditional" smoked meat sandwich. Looked like a good location to have some beers and watch some sports, though.

I don't know how they did it but they did. We were greeted by smiles even though we walked in with a large stroller (I know, I know, but I talked this place up to the In-laws). Food was great beer washed it down and we walked away with nothing but smiles and a few mustard stains.

A must visit for me every time I'm in Montreal. Staff go the extra mile to make your experience enjoyable... From extra whip cream and cherries on my daughter's sundae to help with the metro... Wonderful people serving delicious food!

Did a takeout smoled.meat sandwich. Terrific, moist and delicious. Get one!

2 of 3 waiters were not wearing their mask properly, a gentleman had a mask and shield but none of them were covering his nose, other gentle man was only covering his nose. our waiter was just not there; very very cold welcoming, not checking on us, def no smile! 2 straw in one glass and no straw in the other one! smoke meet was good, fries were not fresh.

My son and I just staying overnight in Montreal for a hockey game.

Comfort food restaurant near Montreal downtown. Very well priced for the area and portion sizes. We had the steak, Dunn's famous poutine, and a long island ice tea. The poutine was great. The steak was underseasoned. The drink was pretty strong too.

In terms of ambiance, we felt that the inside was very smoky and the outside faced the garbage bins. But this place is still somehow a good choice.

Very upset. $3 for pop (root beer) is Ludacris!!! Poutine curds were colder than ice. Poutine is not an acceptable portion for $8. I will never visit again.

Every time i come to Montreal i have a meal here. The service is excellent the waitress was good the pizza i had was good. It was quick 10 mins to the table. Thanks Dunn's i will be back.

I had a chicken salad, and the presentation was superb. As good as pretty.

Was there twice over a weekend. Had a Dunn's Famous Carbonara, and a Poutine Quebecoise. Both were delicious, especially the carbonara.

Love their menu because they have a lot of items with smoked meat. So if you're like me - sometimes I get tired of have smoked meat in a sandwich - you can try having smoked meat in egg rolls, poutine, fried rice, pizza, and lots of other things.

In addition to the price ($ 35) for a sandwich and a pint, the meat is excellent and comparable to Schwartz. The rye bread is reglo, but I prefer it more humid.

Poor Restaurant ! Ordered a well-reviewed Item - "Cajun Chicken" - received little fries (not good taste), rice (not good taste), lots of cabbage and small chicken piece (Not bad, nothing special but too less) ! It's not worth the Price, I regretted this time and the last time I went there, very less proportion of meat in dishes.

Great food. Very authentic feel. We were looking for a great poutine and a smoked meat sandwich. We found exactly what we were looking for. Huge portions. Not the cheapest sandwich I've ever ordered but certainly one of the best tasting I've ever had.
The poutine was amazing too, excellent gravy and lots of cheese piled on to some things cut crispy fries. Good times to be had.

Small restaurant and honestly I loved the restaurant in Montreal. Very close to the tourist attractions and the main shopping district in Montreal.

Not as good as good as we thought. For the famous dish (pastrami) we've had better. Very casual atmosphere. Buffalo poutine fries were yummy but nothing to race about.

Dunn's brings a close to a century of good service and fine foods . The Dunns on Metcalf is open 24/7. The smoke meat is a classic of course but last night I enjoyed the pizza and it was really good ! Its late you need to grab a bite , that's the place to go. Easy to find and well located. Romain
