Today, November 13, 2018, I gladly accompanied my sister-in-law to see a 125 scooter and we were greeted by Mr. Andrea, who put himself at our disposal to explain everything exhaustively. We stayed well beyond the canonical closing time and my sister-in-law then decided to buy the scooter that she could pick up in a week.
I bought my scooter here and, since I had a great time at this time in this dealership, I allowed myself to recommend it to my sister-in-law.
Instead, on the afternoon of June 7, 2019 I picked up my new Yamaha scooter. I thank the Papamoto staff for respecting the times and in particular Mr. Andrea for his patience and availability.

I went for a new Tmax quote and asked him if they took the second hand. the seller told me to ask me what I had to trade. to which I told him to have a Burgman 400 bought new in 2013 kept very well and he replied that they do not withdraw, coincidentally, no burgman because of problems with the clutch. what about ... boh? I have never had problems with the clutch. I even have 47,000 km covered with original rollers. bye bye papamoto

Papamoto is a Yamaha dealer highly appreciated for the seriousness with which it addresses the various problems / needs of its customers.
The quality of the Yamaha brand is unquestionable but finding yourself making an important purchase, such as a scooter or a motorcycle, it is appropriate to do it with honest people who are not there to offer you to buy something by force, only to be able to bring a sale .
I found their advice very interesting even though I was convinced I knew about the motorcycle world.
Among other things, they are affiliated, or something similar, with one of the cheapest and most advantageous insurance ONLINE. I love to shop online, but for contracts, therefore like insurance, I prefer to speak with an interlocutor in the flesh. Maybe because I ask a thousand questions. However, at Papamoto there is a person who is dedicated to this. So I first prepared my quote carefully, then with the printing of the insurance quote (although it was not necessary to print it) I turned to the consultant of Papamoto. I must say that:
1) it was very clear;
2) it was very useful to me;
3) did not force even a second to make me sign the policy.
Which I later did really saving a lot.
I think they also sell excellent used cars, so I have heard, but I have had no way of checking.

I'm sorry to have to write this review, but after buying the bike, I found a shameful after-sales service, crazy things, refused chain fattening, missed chain registration and drop that caused the vessel to overflow: to a banal request for control of loose windshield I was told that I had to leave the bike. a total shame!

Papamoto in via Appia? Simply fantastic! All the people who work there are very kind and cordial on all fronts. A particular thanks to Alessio (a person of rare kindness and patience) who has endured me to my endless emails and has always tried to be satisfied and meet even my most difficult requests. as for the dealership, it looks very good and has many motorbikes or scooters of different segments and in different colors ready for delivery. maybe they were all the same! in the past I have had negative experiences with more than one dealership. Entering this dealership casually it was "love" at first sight, or rather at the first telephone contact. Courtesy and friendliness, professionalism and availability even for problems not strictly related to the sale convinced me to buy from them, I will certainly return also for assistance. I state that this is my first review in my life but I could not do it !!! If I could I would give zero stars, for the bad education, respect for customers and zerooo courtesy !!! Besides very incompetent "or" smart ....... I don't know which is worse between the two! I have a scooter bought in a yamaha store a year ago, I still have one year of warranty and roadside assistance, the scooter shows a defect connected to something that does not make contact because sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't or it turns off in full gear. ... I call the assistance that brings him to the nearest first sale they tell me that THERE WAS NO GASOLINE that the float is broken and the fuel pump needs to be changed, so I go to the store and ask him to be able to leave the bike since they were closing for holidays in a few days and when they would reopen they did my job paying of course since it was not a problem covered by the guarantee !!! to which the owner or the girl who was on the phone, came out with a unique arrogance saying no, you take it away because it is full !!!! Customers are not treated so absolutely not recommended among other things I think they didn't want to waste time maybe because of the guarantee !!!! if you don't know how to deal with customers or you don't want to give way to professionals !! !!!!!!

It is certainly a historical dealer and therefore it will be able to offer its customers the guarantee of many years of experience. I gave three stars only because in my opinion it is too small as a showroom and therefore there are not all the models of the Yamaha brand. In fact, I had turned to papamoto to be able to see and then maybe buy a Yamaha FJR 1300 and it wasn't there. I would have expected an official dealer to show at least one model for each type of motorbike and scooter, but I realize that because of space problems this cannot be done.

I have known the Papamoto dealership in via Appia for about a year and reading the more or less negative reviews a doubt arose, But let's talk about the same ??? I brought my one-year-old Xmax 250 there to them for the service (the scooter I purchased used in a Latina dealer, I lived there) immediately proved professional and priceless. The owner explained to me about the warranty and personally provided to transfer it from the old owner to me (which was certainly not due, indeed ...) and made herself available for any need. Are we talking about the workshop? To make a coupon (Yamaha has the table with the clear coupons to be respected and with relative prices) they give you an appointment and if you need it because maybe you bring it in the afternoon at 18 (as in my case) they give you the replacement vehicle to be returned to the withdrawal of yours. They never skipped an appointment and they never created a problem for me, on the contrary, they always tried to solve them. Want to talk about intermediate oil changes? Half an hour of waiting and your scooter is ready. Now let's move on to the sale because I also had experiences there and the seller Alessio is of a disarming education. I bought 2 bikes and a tricity that I tried just when I made the Xmax coupon because they gave it to me as a replacement vehicle. And yes, you read that right, instead of the usual used vehicle they gave me a new new tricity! We first bought a MT03 and after a MT07, I am not here to list everything I could ask the owner because otherwise I would end up writing a poem that is even longer than what I wrote ... I make it short for you, IT WAS ABLE TO BE SATISFIED IN EVERY MY ABSURD REQUEST (including delivery times) without ever losing patience !!! If you want a dealership that FOLLOWS you and does not take you for .... you are in the right place, if you need a dealership that instead treats you as "the customer is always right" but then it sticks to you then go elsewhere. Bought a used 125 scooter for consignment and they followed me as if I had bought a new one. very efficient in carrying out all the practices and communications always very fast. I did a road test with one of their vehicles, since I was unsure of the purchase, I tried it for 20/30 minutes on the road. The salesman a very smart guy shut me up as I had found my impressions and etc.
To my regret the scooter is not suited to my needs. The salesman thanked me for having done the test sent me to do any future road tests, I was very surprised at the time he spent with me, of his excellent work I can only say "recommended".

Majesty 400: 4 times in a year the same hateful defect: it suddenly goes off even in the race. 4 tow truck calls and four times three Rome mechanics can't find the cause, but they change pieces "at random" and issue high bills. The last time, on the advice of a friend, I went to Papamoto and in two days they found the cause and now it's perfect. Fair price, friendliness and courtesy, thanks for sure I will be back !!
