It was beautiful. All the blooming flowers, stately trees. A place of peace and relaxation under the Wisteria arbor. Enjoyed it very much.

Lovely gardens. I especially enjoyed the Japanese garden with its waterfall and koi pond. My very young children were less enthused, except for the playground. But it's completely volunteer run and, therefore, free. For that, it truly is an amazing place.

It was impressive and definitely worth seeing. I hope to return soon.

What a wonderful place with discoveries around every turn. The kids ran around and we soaked in the calm of nature and beautiful plants.

The wife & I enjoyed this place. The gardens were very scenic, the flowers were colorful, & the landscaping was incredible. Our favorite feature was the streams running through the property down to the pond. The only negative is the bugs were really bad.

When the weather is nice, we sometimes visit a few times a week! My kids love exploring the flowers and seeing the fish. There is constantly more being added, and what is there is very well kept.

Loved strolling through the beautiful gardens and talking to the many knowledgeable volunteers. Lovely water features and fun trails to walk. Enjoy the fact that this is a free family friendly attraction.

My fiance cut her foot on a metal stake on a walking path. I called and left a message on Thursday and no call back as of Friday after 5. Granted its a holiday weekend but still. Flowers and property beautiful as always.

September 12th after a rainy foggy morning we went to the gardens. They were amazing. It was a great walking day. We took many amazing pictures. A wonderful day!!

Very well maintained and beautiful grounds. We had our wedding ceremony here and are very happy we chose this location. Seats up to 100 guests and has a backup location in case of rain. I can't wait for the pictures to come back they will be amazing due to the areas endless photo opportunities .

Very pleasant and many flower gardens so very nice and flowers identified. No fees.

Love this place!!! Beautiful park like setting. Wander around, look at & smell the flowers. Listen to the waterfalls. It is a comfortable stroll through out the grounds. Picnic areas also available with plenty of shade. Use Google Maps to find it easily. Ample parking. Nice clean bathrooms located in the gift shop. Check the website for musical offerings on Sundays through out the summer months. Sit on the expansive lawn, bring a picnic and listen to the musicians playing in the gazebo. Play ground area on the grounds as well to keep the little ones entertained.

Loved this place. Was great for romance or relaxing. Saw family's and know there is play areas. Nice park bathrooms by play area. Park was big and we saw lots of squirrels,, chip monks, hawks, and other birds. Very nice place for a day trip.

Wonderful place to take the kids. Especially if you want them to experience nature without trekking into the woods.

A beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. All of my children ages infant to 13 enjoy visiting the Arboretum. When everyone is happy it makes for a 5 star outing. Winning!

For a free botanical garden the grounds were much nicer and expansive than I expected. Tons of coy fish in the pond, water features, perennials, themed gardens, annuals, and a visitors center with seating, snacks, library, and gifts. Nice for a couple hour visit.

trees. Very impressed with the information station/gift shop and the wedding ceremony capability.

The Arboretum is a slice of paradise right here in Dubuque. Perfect for a family outing, picnic, or just a walk to relax. Must see when living or visiting Dubuque!

I visited this beautiful arboretum on August 27th, 2018. It is a wonderful place for all ages. They offer a playground & interactive displays geared for children. I'm an adult but was still entertained with the Gecko seek a find statue. There is a beautiful pond teeming with Koi Fish in array of colors. You can stop at the gift shop & purchase some Koi food for a small price. Here you can also enjoy a scenic lookout area with table & chairs. During the summer they also offer live music on Fridays. Definitely worth a visit.

There is a plant for everyone here and the free music is a real treat too!

I visit the Arboretum at least once a week or more. It is a very beautiful and well kept, and peaceful place. :)

Beautiful place for when the weather is nice. I have been a couple times with friends and we have done picnics and they have been wonderful. It's a nice place for a walk among the beautiful flowers and the fish in the pond are quite enjoyable.

I imagine this place is magic in the summer. Late March, we saw Narcissus and Pulmonaria, and a great big Forsythia. Too many fish in the wee pond, and not enough circulation.

The volunteers do an amazing job keeping ground in great shape. The Sunday night music series is a great way enjoy the grounds with family and friends.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. There had been a lot of rain, so the grounds were saturated.

Such a nice space to enjoy an afternoon. Wonderful variety of gardens. Picnic areas, children's playground and peaceful surroundings.

This is one of Debuques many wonderful outdoor parks. They have thousands of beautiful plants they have colorful fish and you can feed them from a bridge and their trails are also beautiful. They have a fun playground for kids and a gift shop that also sells ice cream. We will definitely be going back soon. Maybe next year.

This place is neat, not much here yet, but I think we will need to go here quite a bit this year.

Beautiful. Check out music in the park on Sundays, the Japanese Garden in the English Garden in particular.
