Great place to go for free. Nice but simple visitor center where you can get maps, use the restroom, buy a beverage, etc. A couple signs along the paths would have been nice since the map was not very detailed as far as which path goes where. Very well maintained garden with beautiful flowers and landscaping.

I went to Music in the Park and as always, has a GREAT time! This week was a John Denver tribute & the duo was AMAZING!! No joke! Ted Vigil (John Denver doppelganger in sight & sound) & Amy Days (singing & played violin) and they were AWESOME!! I would pay $ to go to their concerts in the future. But the gardens are AMAZING as well!! Breathtaking.

**I apologize ahead of time, a lot of my photos are blurry, my phone was having issues much to my dismay!!

The gardens are kept in good shape by volunteers and the little pond is a go to spot for us. I've been here for weddings, picnics or just to enjoy. We love the free music on Sunday evenings in the summer. The playground is a nice little addition for the kids. A good place to spend the day with family and friends.

Such a beautiful place to visit. Series of different gardens within a garden. And you never have to question what type of plant because they're all labeled (which just provides a huge list of wants for our own yard). They have even have a garden for children complete with Peter Rabbit, Billy Goat's Gruff, the frog prince and a gecko statue... the piece de resistance and perhaps everyone's favorite destination, is the Koi pond.

Arboretum might be a stretch of the term. Very awesome memorial/monument and nice kids park. No dogs allowed, which isn't mentioned on their website, only in tiny print on a small sign near the front of the park.

Beautiful location with lots of things to do. Walking trails, bike trails, koi pond, garden, playground, and more. My kids loved playing at the park and then getting fish food to feed the fish.

Dubuque Arboretum is a wonderful place to go hang out with Mother Nature. The varieties of different Gardens are truly breathtaking especially around the third week of June. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly as well as knowledgeable. From hosting music in the park to hundreds of weddings.

A gem. We enjoyed stepping aside between errands and kid activities to stroll through the well laid out and carefully managed gardens. As we drove out we realized we only touched one area. I'll keep it on my list of places, and see how it changes throughout the year.

Me and my kids enjoyed our field trip through the gardens very much. We planned to come back and visit during the different seasons on our long walk.

I would have loved to give the park 5 stars very much so, except something extraordinarily out of the blue happened while visiting the koi pond. A tour cart pulled up with a tour guide and some older tourists and the tour guide started explaining rather loudly to the tourists that "this is what They do, they come here with all their kids and let them run all over the place, then they let them get hurt and sue us." I was SHOCKED. I've never in my life been so shocked I dont think. I was not only shocked I took my kids and left.

I'd love to say me and my children had an amazing time and wonderful field trip today but honestly my day was just ruined.

I'll also add that I went inside to talk with the worker there as she presented herself as someone who somewhat represented the place, thought for sure she might at least apologize for her employee or volunteer? She did not. She said "well that's what some people do." Again, shocked!

I own my house. I have a great career and a lovely family. I've never had to or even thought to sue someone in my life! What a disgraceful establishment.
