I'm with you , Ryan. At first my stuff was looked at rather quickly, but now, in my case it has been over five weeks. I was excited at first to use drone base. So much so I thought of going full time with it. But it appears that is no longer an option currently. I understand they have a huge backlog as I have gotten that response a couple times, so maybe they should hire more people? It sucks to be so excited about something turn to a potential disappointment. I was so excited to fly and plan discover new places. I still will do that of course, but making the money would have been all the sweeter. I guess upload directly to Getty directly from now on.

I have done work with DroneBase for the past two years and they are one of the best for getting aerial photography jobs in your area.

However, most of the jobs they are offering have less payout than they did when I first started. I used to accept missions within seconds of receiving notification. Now I will let someone else accept the mission because it s not worth my time for less pay.

DroneBase has great customer service and provides a wide range of photography and videography for clients. I feel they are giving pilots the short end of the stick for missions though.

Best agency I worked with by far. Incredible support staff that are all friendly and super responsive to questions. Payment is always made in full the day I upload the photography. Don't hesitate to join the team. (It's FUN too!)

Flew for this company for over a year during which time the pay continued to go down and the project load continued to go up. Jobs are auctioned off to the pilot who can respond the fastest and do it for the least cost. Definitely not a company that values their pilots time and effort. Shame on you for exploiting the drone industry.

Still waiting for that call as stated in your comments below. Typical.

Let me try to respond to some of the other reviews of DroneBase here on Google.

First off, it seems DroneBase is being reviewed from both a prospective client side and a "pilot side" for people "working for" DroneBase. I can't speak to how aggressive they are with their marketing and this review is solely related to working for them.

There are two types of "missions" that they offer. The "Pano" missions are "shoot first" and then they try to sell. These can be done at your leisure and there is nothing requiring anyone to do it. I have only done one of those and it was immediately sold and I was paid.

The "Client Missions" have a guaranteed pay out which you know ahead of time before accepting the job. It might pay $125, it might pay $250 or whatever. If the time to get to job and shot list is too much to warrant the job: Skip it! But if you complete it and upload the required shots, DroneBase typically pays you, via direct deposit, within a couple of hours. I am not sure about the complaints of slow payments. In some cases, I have been paid within MINUTES of uploading. I have been working with DroneBase for not that long and earnings have been enough to keep me working for them. See my DroneBase dashboard below. Over $10,000 in earnings and another job of $250 scheduled tomorrow.

On top of that, communication and professionalism with their team has always been top notch.

Drone Base is onto something. They have the best network of pilots in the United States. I never know how to spell their name is it Drone Base with a space or DroneBase without a space. Their marketing says both. These guys are awesome though really fun to work with and lots of opportunities for drone pilots. Who would ve thought that you could make a business based off of connecting drone pilots with other business opportunities out there.
Driving thermal photography with FLIR. Can t wait to see where these guys go in the future.
