Neat and clean room. Safe and secure. Quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Our room had its own bathroom with shower (shampoo and body wash included) as well as a desk. Free wifi in room and complimentary tea/coffee in common area. The common area also had a kitchen with dishes, microwave, stove top and fridge. Easy instructions about where to go for parking. Good customer service. Great location, convenient if using local transit. Would like to stay again if available/opportunity arises.

We rented a room about a month prier our arrival. 24 ours before we arrive we received an email that the room is in the basement
. The lady we talked to on the phone only let us check the basement after we sent her our card and indentification picture and had us write down that we will pay. But we only told them to let us check the basement. Anyway it was awful and we refused to stay in. So for all of u becarefull with this place the are decisive.

Horrible place!!! Disgusting!!!!! I arrived there tonight, and as soon as I pulled the bed cover, it was obvious the sheets were not fresh! I investigated further, found breadcrumbs in the bed, as well as human hair, a finger nail... took pictures, emailed them to the owner, JoJo, who told me to wait for 2 hours until her cleaner could make it to change the sheets... She refunded my money without argument, but how is it possible, POSSIBLE, to allow a situation where she thinks it is OK for me or any guest to sleep in somebody else's sheets? EEEWWWW!! Went to the hotel.

I stayed here for one night for a quick visit in Toronto. Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience and it met my expectations based on what I paid. Upon arrival, the room was fully made up with clean sheets, floors, etc. The house was remarkably quiet and I heard very little from other people staying at the travel house. It was very nice to have a private washroom and to be able to access a shared kitchen. My only criticism was that the vent in the bathroom was caked with dust and did very little to deal with steam from showers.

Nice and clean rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom. Staff are friendly. There are parking lots with a fee. Note that if you are picking up your luggage after check-out, you will have to put your luggage in the dining room where no one will be there to look after so be careful not to put valuables inside your luggage as you are putting it there at your own risk.

the room was very clean and nice staff. Room is so big and you can utilize rooms. Hot water great and you can cook from kitchen at first floor. We spent here for 3days and it was so comfortable. Thanks for great memories.

Hostel quality for hotel prices.

Hostel quality for hotel prices.
The rooms are made of cheapest materials possible and noise isolation is non-existent. If you manage to fall asleep through the street and neighbouring restaurant noise, you are sure to be woken up by the noise from somebody coming back to a neighbouring room.
Bathroom is tiny and the shower smells of sewage - the fan does nothing to help. You can t adjust the AC temperature and the room is full of sickeningly sweet smell from the air freshener.
The check-in is also a hassle - 2 emails about credit card details and ID, and 3 emails with various house rules ( no open flame, etc ) which are plastered all over the house on ugly paper.
The location is good though, so if you can find it for $60 or less it s bearable, but otherwise it s bad value for money.

I did book with booking.com but i feel the pics on website was not the same which i got it on same day of traveling to toronto from owner of house. Owner did contacted me to get pic of credit card and id proof before checking into house via email. And after sending those pic's we get to know that the room was in basement and owner lives upstairs in the house. So i cancelled my booking with booking.com but never got refund which i already paid. It was not a good experience at all. If i booked with booking.com i would never like that owner of house directly contact me for id proof and credit card. Now booking.com says dream house is not agree to give any refund.

Very good facilities with great behaviour of host. Kitchen, private & shared bathrooms, modern locking systems. Had a multi cultural experience while staying here, met with people from many countries. A good experience overall.
