Nice place but no hot tub and need to be refurbished and pool need to be warmer too

Solid, value for money, no frills property. Stayed here many times and highly recommend. It s not a high star property, but it s clean, comfortable with lovely staff.

Only down side is the breakfast. Built to a cost. A very cheap one.

Clean, pleasant staff, food good, room clean and changed once they realised it was a disabled booking, floor in wet room very slippery when wet, disabled parking virtually non existant. Silly thing but sachets used for condiments full of very little, waste of time and their money, try putting vinegar on chips when only one drip comes out!

Fantastic welcome on arrival. Front desk staff were really friendly. Bedroom was clean and roomy, although the TV was far too big!

The hotel of right in the middle of town, so very convenient. Hotel car park is small and was full when we arrived. The nearby NCP car park has special rates for hotel guests; just ask on reception.

Only visited the entrance to meet a colleague. Nice pleasant entrance

Visited for food on New year's Day. Service was excellent and friendly and all staff accommodating. Ordered two meals. One was supposed to be a warm sandwich which came out cold and with old bread. The chips for both meals were good as always. Also ordered a meal to take away which they don't do but were happy to do for us. I ordered the same sandwich meal which we ordered before. A tomato and mozzarella sandwich with pesto. It was made with cheddar and without pesto and I had to ask for the chips which I had paid for. The floor was dirty also, the table next to us had a few peas under it.

Excellent hotel. Particularly if you're travelling from another country as they offer free mobiles for you to use with free WiFi and calls. Very handy for finding your way around without roaming charges.

The rooms are very nice, we stayed in the superior double and there is a large tv and sofa.

The facilities for disabled customers were good, excellent large roll in shower with a seat. The bed was slightly too firm but I need a soft bed due to my spine issues, my partner found the bed comfortable though.

The parking was on a first come first served basis, it's very small for the size of the hotel and not very secure.

There is a late night bar on the ground floor but even though there was loud music you couldn't hear it in the room.

Overall though it was a lovely hotel and good value for money.

I spent one night at The Dragon Hotel for business during lockdown.

The standard double room was ok, but I m dire need of renovation and a deep clean. The renovation budget looked like it had been spent on the giant TV!



On a positive note; the hotel is central and walkable to anywhere in the city, including the station. Also, the staff at reception I interacted with were friendly.

Rooms were clean and comfy.
Staff was friendly.
Parking was easy.
Hotel was quiet.
Price was adequate.

I would never come to this hotel again or recommend it anyone. some of the staff are more than useless. When i booked I said it was for my 40th and we would be having a relaxing time at the sauna, pool and massage, but on arrival we were told that the massage treatment wasn't available on a Sunday when we were told it would be. The room are dirty with stains everywhere. Can't comment on the breakfast that we payed for as we missed it. We were told it stopped at 10 but it stopped at 9.30

Myself my husband my best friend and her husband stayed here for a long weekend,we arrived on Friday afternoon check in was quick and easy and the staff who were on duty throughout the weekend were friendly,polite and very helpful,due to covid there was no housekeeping,which is understandable if you needed anything topped up like tea,coffee,milk and toilet rolls you only had to ask at reception and the staff gave you what you needed,we checked out this morning and was a very pleasant stay we will definitely be visiting again.The Hotel was right at the top of the town and a short walk to lots of restaurants,bars and shops thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Photos on website is nothing like the dirty room we got, made a complaint but staff weren't trained or just did not care enough, waited almost 4 hours for the manager to come and in fairness he was really professional he put us in another room but only single beds then we were upgraded the following night. He promised the hotel will be having a major face-lift and invited us back for a stay in late summer.

I stopped at the bistro for a business lunch and some laptop time. The staff were lovely and food (inc coffee) was excellent. There Was a large party of mums and tods there too.

Great room and gym, reception staff need to smile and be more polite though!

Friendly service. Excellent deal price with this stay for Christmas weekend. Room was spacious, clean and the decor was very nice. Car parking available and free Wi-Fi. The swimming pool is narrow but long. Service very good. Would stay again no problems.

A nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, situated in walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants bar food and breakfast at the hotel is well presented and tastes lovely! Only downfall would be room was not as clean as would be expected, stains on furniture, walls, curtains and carpet and very dusty in certain areas also toilet wouldn't flush properly.

Good hotel but lift is way too small especially for wheel chairs

I love this hotel this is our 3rd visit, so convenient for shopping, eating out etc

Went for afternoon tea for a bridal shower.. it was good.

Worked in a meeting room for business. Was set up well but no instructions on how to leave room secure or info on WiFi. Clock not working.

Perfect in every way. Got engaged there and soon will be getting married there too.

We hired a room here for an event and the staff made us very welcome and the surroundings are just stunning. Lovely decor, warm atmosphere and I would certainly return.

Staff were friendly rooms were nice but the spa and swimming pool were a huge let down and no steam room

Brilliant place to stay. Got complimentary sauna and other health club facilities.

Havent stayed here but its centre of Swansea and ideal for a short or long stay , parking is limited but great for functions.

Amazing staff and truly comfortable room, we had a superior double and it was a grand size with a shower room and sofa. Breakfast was very nice also. We attended a party in their function room and it was well managed by friendly competent staff who all had a great sense of humour.

The location is perfect for visiting Swansea as it's practically in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and kind and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately the hotel felt a bit dilapidated and is in need of renovations. There is More

The hotel is very nice, the food at the resident is good, but the hotel has a few quirks which are annoying. Limited internet. There is a cap on data, when it runs out, no more work will get done. Period. When our group arrived they were out of keys, so one key or two people... I had to get the staff to let me into my room when my traveling companion was out. Some of the staff is a bit haughty. The location is great, though so I would come here again in the future.

Very old fashioned no hot water in shower fridge in room dont work carpet in room could do eith a good clean had to pay extra to park in their car park on the plus we had breakfast in our room which was lovely oh and the pool and facility s out of use would not say this was a 5 star hotel I've been in better b n b and a lot cheaper and it was cold in the night

Lovely and really helpful staff and rooms ok. Bathroom modern and clean but hpusekeeping only once every 3 days. Pity pool etc closed. COVID breakfast not worth having. Easier to get full breakfast over road from hotel or in the market. Location is superb and even facing cross roads pretty quiet. Definitely will go back

After giving this hotel a good rating l take it back as my daughter left her watch in our room .I rang the following day spoke to housekeeping who didn't want to know.They didn't have the decency to check the room.Husband rang to speak to manager whom was in a meeting!! Still waiting for him to call.

Pembray suite. A most dreadful experience at the bar. No pump soft drinks, total rip off. AVOID.

Located in the city centre, close to the bus station and rail station. Lot of restaurants
around. The phone in the room was not working and cleanliness in the rooms can be improved but otherwise had a good stay in the hotel. Friendly staff. They do have a nice pool

Very comfortable rooms and the resturant attached to the hotel very good too.
