Upon arriving I immediately felt so at ease. Being a new patient you don t know what type of experience you ll have. Luckily, my experience was amazing. I was greeted warmly by Cristina and continued to feel very welcomed by Dr. Wesley Cook s staff. At the end of my appointment I felt confident I had made the right decision by switching Doctors. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Cook for making my first visit a wonderful experience.
Dr. Cook has been my doctor since around 2003. I have been fortunate enough to have insurance throughout this period and I make sure that he's in my network each time I change my provider or my plan. Thank you Dr. Cook for being knowledgeable and compassionate. And thanks to you and to your staff for your professionalism, friendliness and great care!
First time appointment at this office this past week--Very nice staff and Dr Cook was very warm and personable. He seems to really care about his patients.
I wanted to love Dr. Cook so badly. He came highly recommended from a family friend, and I've stuck with him for four years hoping things would get better, but nothing has. When you're in the office, Dr. Cook is wonderful. He's patient, personable, and knowledgeable. However, he DOES NOT respond to phone calls, emails, or portal messages. When you see him in person, he'll say "message me on the portal to ask for x,y,z" or "I'll send your results via portal within 2 days" and then you spend weeks and weeks and weeks following up, just trying to get AN answer, let along a friendly answer or an answer to the questions you asked in person. It's so stressful when you're awaiting test results, to be totally ghosted by your doctor.
Getting my covid vaccine was the happiest appointment with Dr. Cook and his amazing team. The office is sparkling clean and patient appointments are scheduled so that you do not need to see anyone but the doctor. Before leaving a room, they always make sure the hallways and lobby is clear of people and that you can safely distance on your exit. Even though everyone is masked, you can tell the staff is giving you a warm welcoming smile. Is it possible to have your doctor office to be one of your favorite places in all of Chicago? Dr. Cook just the best. He always is compassionate and caring and listens so well. I always leave with a smile. Thank you Dr. Cook!
Dr. Cook is wonderful. He treated my best friend a very long time before he passed away. At that time I was not a patient but was bringing my friend to his appointments. I was always impressed by how thorough and caring he is. I was the eternal optimist, but at the right time dr. Cook talked to me privately. He explained my friend was not going to survive, explained the reasons and suggested I need to start thinking about hospice care. Of course he was completely correct but the forthright and compassionate way he explained this to me is something I will never forget. I became a patient and have had only good experiences. Recently he became one of the very few doctors offices to obtain the Covid vaccine. His office is administering a hundred dosage per week in addition to the regular practice. To say Dr Cook is committed to his patients would be an understatement.
I came to Dr Cook at a dark time in my life. He instantly made me feel comfortable and I knew I had made the right decision for myself, and for my family. He has been there for me through so many ups and downs and I honestly do not believe, I would be here standing as strong as I am, if it weren't for him and his caring staff. They have become like family to my family. We pray every day and thank God bringing us together. You can NOT go wrong with Dr Cook!! I'd give them 1000 stars if I could!

Dr. Cook sent out emails to notify his patients & we had our vaccinations at his office on Tuesday. The process was organized & on time.

Dr Cook and his staff are amazing. They care about their patients and wants the best for them. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of their patients! I am a registered nurse for the last 31 years and was impressed with Dr Cook and his staff! Dr Cook took the time to talk to my son Jack and was able to help him. Dr Cook and his staff are professionals and I would highly recommend his practice!
Dr. Cook has been my primary physician for over 15 years now. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Dr. Cook however is just special. He s always courteous and professional, but makes you feel like a good friend vs a patient.
A few years ago I went in for my wellness exam. Life was fast paced for me at that time. At the end of my exam, Dr. Cook made it a point to ask me how I was doing. I said fine, I feel great. He replied with but how are you? Everything ok? We had a much needed 10-12 min talk that just made me feel better mentally.
He knew it was exactly what I needed.
