Room 2001, you took me in and gave me shelter for the past 7 months, in return I took care of you. Now that it's time for us to part, I pray that you remain clean, well maintained, and being taken care of, hoping that we'll meet again and share our time together. Alas! They took us apart! I was sentenced to live with an undesirable and so I have to leave the shelter. I will dearly ever miss you. I will be fine, and I will. I will be fine.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Yes the room was a broom closet. Could have gotten past that because the bathroom was of decent size and updated. Plus we planned to be out most of the time. However, scroll past any amenities they show. The lounge was just a long bar counter in the main lobby and I never seen it open. The outdoor terrace we were told was under renovation but nobody was ever working on it. Nor was it torn up where it couldn't have been used. We were told that maybe they would open it if it got nicer out. But then suggested we go to the Marriott down the road if we wanted to visit their terrace. Construction on the road in front of the hotel had the road torn open. Not a problem until they shut the water off in the morning and we weren't informed. Called the front desk to find out what was going on and was told it would be on around 2-3 pm. I mentioned about the inconvenience and was told that I was informed when we checked in 2 days earlier and that a note had been left in my room. None of that was true. The water did come back on around 2 and finally got warm enough to shower around 4. I thought they would at least hand out bottles of drinking water to guests at the time for convenience and safety but I was wrong. Hilton can have my Honors membership back. I'll he staying elsewhere. Probably the Marriott down the road.

I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is at a great location, clean rooms and fairly good in size. Loved the breakfast there.

The room was very very small with a 1950s wardrobe & a stained ironing board nice shower. Breakfast was not appetising to look at. Would not stay here again.

Terribly small room. And staff lied and acted like thieves. Terrible experience. Never again.

Basic. No frills. If it's raining, they cancel happy hour!

Very long wait to wake up to jackhammers in the morning! - It took more than an hour to check-in to our room even though we arrived after check-in time. The wait in the lobby (which did not have decent seats) was tough on my wife who is going through chemotherapy. On top of that, since we had to wait so long to check-in our room we missed our train to Ronkonkoma to meet friends for dinner. The room was nice even though we had the pleasure of waking up to construction across the street from the hotel. The price was excellent for the location which is why overall I give this hotel 3 out of 5 stars.

Room was small and showed years of use, but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast buffet is not worth the cost. You get can more and better food and coffee at a diner nearby. Don't stay on a high floor if you want to take a shower or flush the toilet in the morning. No water pressure for the "city view" top floors.

The Staff of the Hotel is wonderful you made my wife and my experience.
The hotel is not the best that I went to the the location is just perfect if you visiting NYC and again the staff kind ready to help and very helpful when need I really appreciate my time in this hotel.
Don t hesitate

Will not stay at another hotel in NYC other than this one. My wife and are were so impressed from the minute we walked through the door. The staff was beyond nice and our room was clean and very spacious. Loved the breakfast and can't wait to go back to visit!

Wonderful but too expensive, So we only stayed the 1 night(Free with Hilton Rewards)

The staff was very professional, friendly and pleasant. They made our stay worthwhile . However, the rooms are too small and room service needs improvement . But great location, too much construction.

Ridiculously small rooms, fit maybe two people comfortably. Location is great, but would not stay again. Front desk staff Thomas was very helpful with our room change as our first room had no door handle on the bathroom. Housekeeping was very quick to respond to any need. Camilla at bar was professional and personable. Great staff for a standard only hotel.

Decent location not far from convention center. Friendly staff, decent breakfast and very good cookies. Small rooms but that's is kinda the norm in NYC.

Great staff, very attentive. Rooms are modest but adequate. Only complaint is the gym, very small and little to no equipment. But - the staff made up for this with their kindness and attentive service.

If the double tree wants to be a 5+ star, I would recommend an upgraded fitness facility.

Hotel furnishing need updating, but rooms are good, staff is wonderful and a good location

I can't recommend this hotel for business travelers.
Old rooms. Table at the room is old and super small. Shower taps and curtain pole were rusted. Carpet is old and dirty. Towels are rolled on top of the toilet! Room was not ready in time and service is super slow. Well below I was expecting of a Hilton run hotel chain. I do not recommend for business travellers.

Not bad. Good to stay if planned to do stuff outside. Rooms are small.

Nice and cozy. Room furniture is a bit dated, but the bathroom is up to date. Good breakfast and great location. People are nice and friendly.

Good location for site seeing. Walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and many other attractions. Rooms are small but typical New York.

Went on family vacation and was pleasantly surprised with the courteous staff. The rooms were very tiny though.
