Great staff and clean facility. Jamison's is a cool place with great food and drink. Must stay if staying in the Northshore area. 5 stars

I believe the service was fast and the other people were extremely polite along with the hotel's employees.

Great staff, clean, wonderful restaurant in the hotel. They offer you a free warm delicious cookie at check in. How can you not love that?

Clean room, helpful staff. The room was as expected, not great but not bad. 51 channels. If you use the fridge make sure to turn it on! Attached restaraunt (Jameson's) wasn't bad either; great service but out of date menus. Ordered several different beers to be told they didn't have them anymore.

Just stayed here this Saturday and it was not a very pleasant experience. Staff is not very accurate with hotel information and room prices. I was also told that we would have a great view and when I got to the room the view was awful and the room was not very clean and I now have bites all over. I ordered room service For a drink and they said it would take about 15 minutes but it took over an hour. This hotel is way over priced for what you get. I will never be coming back here and I do not recommend this hotel.

This place sucks. Housekeeping did not clean my room. I called down to the front desk and they said they would send somebody right away. Its been 2 days now. I won't be back

Excellent hotel. The location is very good. The hotel and rooms are clean. The furniture is of good quality .the gym and pool are great. The service is fast and good. I had good experience so far.

Great place to sit and talk. Don't need to be a guest in order to enjoy. Lobby and hallway have great comfy sofas to sit on.

I love the free cookies first of all. But I am staying for business for the week and it has been a very pleasant and clean visit.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. So much to do and shop within walking distance. I m in town doing research at a facility right next door and it s made the visit a delight. Staff is very kind and helpful.

While a little bit away from the major high ways, the hotel offered a nice and welcoming place. Centrally located near two large malls, there is a wealth of shopping nearby and quite a few unique good places to eat. I found the rooms to be serviceable. Nothing extra ordinary, but also not subpar..biggest complaint, small bathrooms. Other than that, if you use the gym do so early because the ventilation is lacking. While they have a lot of machines, they fill up quickly. I would stay here again, but have to think twice about the traffic commuting back to the hotel from the major companies in the area

Our family holds our Passover Seder here every year. The food is always solid and the service is great.

Travelers be aware of their undermined technique I booked two nights at the Doubletree Hotel and the next day I checked out at 11 a.m. And they gave me a receipt $110.00 then a few days later I noticed my credit card was charged $163.00 when I seen that I drove back to the hotel I showed the manager my receipt then I showed him my credit card my bill at first it took him 10 min to figure out why It was overcharged then he said it was a $50 penalty for early checkout my original receipt from the hotel did not show that so when I asked to reinburst the money back he argued with me and said that he could not do that so after I told him that it wasn't and this was just a hidden charge that I was never told of. I got angry and demanded my money back and he said I would have too come back the next day and that made me even angrier and again I told him I wanted my money today so then he said he would make an exception in my case and would give me my money back and I told him do not make an exception for me because I did not do anything wrong and I told them to do the right thing and give my money back. which he did they put $50 dollars back on my credit card I did not except such from a 3 and a half star hotel this kind of treatment I am a businessman and I travel all over the United States and I will never stay at this hotel again

Clean bathroom. Was there for an event. Chairs were left on tables except for what seemed set up by person running event.

I love this hotel. They have fabulous amenities, food is excellent and the service is amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

The parking is terrible, they pipe some overpowering cinnamon apple smell through the place, and housekeeping came in and screwed up a bunch of my stuff though they weren't supposed to be in there at all. That said, the beds are good, they did what they could to fix my issues, and the place looks nice. The Hampton down the street is less swanky but better.

This is an old property which has been kept up to date very well. Staff is courteous and helpful. Ample nearby restaurants, cafes and shopping malls. Away from the main city's hussle bussle. Comfortable rooms and completely smoking Free. Only downside is that there is no Jacuzzi in the pool area. Welcome cookies, free coffee and apples are a perfect hospitality gesture.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. No complaints whatsoever about my stay.

Kind, professional staff, beautiful premises! We had a slight problem with our credit card, the staff member handled it with utmost discretion and kindness, Uber professional! Our room was clean and spiffy too. The ONLY thing that was a little bit of a sad face was that the room and bathroom are very small and the little double beds are full size? Certainly not doubles or queens. But super happy and will book again and again!

No stars. Tiny bathroom. No exhaust fan. Very few plugs in room. Towels smell moldy. No cookies on arrival. Unpleasant overall.

Just went to a conference there. It was OK. Nice lobby. Conference rooms were pretty run down.

Check in was easy. Got free cookies that were actually really good. Our room was ok, it was in the tower (7th floor) crummy view, extremely small and damp bathroom with old tub. Climate controll was odd but despite it's age worked well for a hot day. Bed was comfy but the pillows were small and sparce. We ordered some roomservice: shrimp Alfredo (plain lackluster but still decent) but the Cajun chicken sandwich was delicious and tender with fresh veggie toppings. Service delivery was fast and polite. Went to order breakfast and was told there is free breakfast in one of the conference rooms! Bonus! That free breakfast had a large selection of classics and an omelet bar. The fruit was very fresh. Didn't check out the pool but it seemed popular based on the number of kids we saw walking around dripping wet. Over all a good stay and a great value when booked on hotel tonight 94$

Great service. Nice and quiet. Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. Room was always cleaned when we got back! So many friendly faces at the desk and in the halls.

I stopped in to see if they had an handicapped acessable rooms for when my grandparents come to visit. Unfortunately they did not have any during the dates I was looking for but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place maybe one of the Goats. For the price they charge the service was amazing. Very close to alot of restaurants (we like to eat). The place was very clean, the pool was great, and they went out their was to uphold the safety for Covid. I would definitely recommend this for any and all travel needs.

I was thrilled dearly with this hotel, it made my stay to Chicago a success. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were pleased with everything. The room was exactly what was stated in the details when we booked it. We were surprised by a complementry breakfast as the staff found out that other couple that was traveling with us, had gotten engaged the previous night. Overall I was extremely happy with my stay and would return again if I was to stay in Skokie again. A++

Just like every other hotel in USA, this hotel also offers little. Hotel needs renovation. You should offer more in breakfast, total of 8 or 9 items for a breakfast in a five-star hotel? Come on... 2 stars for the lovely staff. And 5 star for Greek restaurant owner!

Responsive staff, good pool, clean rooms, comfy king bed. Bathroom was tiny. Plenty of plugs for peripherals

Attended an conference here in several of the rooms. Facilities we're very clean, comfortable and attractive. Staff even cleaned up while we were away for lunch. Food was excellent and parking was a breeze.

This is a well kept place with a very friendly staff. Easy walking to a lot of shopping. I would stay again, best hotel in the area.

In general, it was a mediocre stay at best. The devil is in the details and there were at least 6-7 "minor" issues which were totally annoying.
Maid service - first day did not clean up the coffee area, left no cups, and it was a mess. Also gave me no soap in bathroom. Also, left no breakfast card and thats the only way to order breakfast in advance.
Dinner - I asked for all vegatbles as a side and they brought me potatoes which I dont eat
Gift shop - bouth cereal and there is NO milk. Eating dry cereal is not ideal.
Bottom line: untrained staff, sloppy service in general, adn minor but CONSTANT annoying issues.

While a very good location, this hotel is tired. The rooms have an odor that is stale / stagnant. Would highly recommend opening the window to air out your room, upon arrival. Would recommend they clean the room carpeting as well. This is not the typical experience one has at a Doubletree but this one is a disappointment.

Staff was friendly and responsive. The room was quiet and comfortable. We had an excellent time.

Overall great experience. Great location. Room was clean. Shower water pressure was high and water was hot. Room service was fast and reasonable. Could actually sleep because the register had a manual fan control. TV allowed for a streaming stick. Will book again for sure.

Very dated room. Bathroom was very small. The shower literally screamed when running. Sounded like you were letting air out of a balloon while pinching the opening. Yeah that really annoying "screaming / screeching" sound. Not a fan of this location at all.

I love staying here. Front desk is friendly, rooms are nice and the steak house and bar are top notch. Easy access to other options in the area as well .

Great stay. Has the indoor/outdoor pool with the glass divider (love those), but the bathroom in our Deluxe upgraded room was tiny. Like really tiny.

Located next to a theater and a shopping mall across the road, this place is great for night life and shopping.

There is a restaurant in the lobby that cooked us a good steak dinner, but the breakfast just wasn't as polished as it could/should be.

Unable to cool room down! Unable to connect to the WiFi!! Never have a good experience at this hotel!

Location was great. Service was good. Room was OK. Broken lamp shades. Bathroom door appears to have been painted with think paint and a bad roller.
