I was an overnight guest and my company hosted an event here. The room was clean and a great size, but the AC was not very efficient, and I was hot my whole stay. I was disappointed with the attention to detail regarding our event, with the exception of the person that supported our staff meals, she was amazing!! I will not stay here on any future trips.

The hotel itself was good. Very clean with lovely staff.
The food was ok, but they took more than 40 minutes and it was cold when served. Quality was good and portions were bigger than expected.

This company tour came to live in this hotel, wait...

This company tour came to live in this hotel, waited more than 8 hours to give half of the room, the remaining half was too late to clean, we also waited, in the end several rooms were given the wrong room type, no change, only extra beds, we continued After staying for three nights, I took away the extra-bed camp bed the next day and reacted to the counter. They were unhappy and had a bad attitude. I stayed in this group of hotels for so many times. coming!

I still do not understand why Double Tree Hotel Miami Airport and Convention Center said that I had to contact the Double Tree Hotel manager. I met with the Front Manager by the name of Jeffrey Aime and the other manager as well, William Steinberger. they did not help with my complaint. They seemed very unprofessional and they do not have a friendly service for tourist and passengers. I cannot believe that the front office staff and managers did not friendly service for anyone who complaint and ignored our negative feedback about the hotel service. It was terrible and the staff was very unprofessional.

I already complained and called via Double Tree Hotel complaint department and they apologized and accepted my complaint but did nothing to solve the problem. I was mad because they did not call us to warn us that my credit card was declined. Why was I not contacted if there was an issue with the credit cards? We had reserved this 6 months ago.They did not care about our problem, we had to go run around looking for a hotel at last minute.

I have lost all interest in your hotel and i will definitely not recommend your hotel to the worldwide community.

I was in shock, it is true no one care about tourists complaints.

They are not very flexible with the customers, tourists and passengers if you complained all they'd do is give you a smile and a cookie! That is STUPID!!

Remember, Please be careful with the DoubleTree and look at google about complaint lists, there are many negative feedback.

Any Hilton property is overrated. This one in particular does not have any upgrades whatsoever. I reserved 3 rooms for a short business trip and what a disappointment it was. The rooms are dirty, carpet looks like it hasn t been changed in decades, bathrooms full of hairs from previous guests. You better take your bottle of clorox and disinfectant if you plan to stay here. Light switches haven t been changed since the 80 s!! You definitely not get what you pay for.
The reason why i gave it two stars is because the check in proces was quick. Jorge at the check-in desk was welcoming, fast, understanding and willing to help. Unfortunately that is not enouhg when you need a comfortable, clean and disinfected room!
Hope I don t catch a desease. :-:

only went for the shopping center. the shopping center is a good place to get jewelry and other items peetty cheap also in bulk. wish there was more shops though alot of the spaces are empty but the stores that are there are good

I love this hotel. Have stayed there twice. One time for two weeks in August 2016 and now again in March 2018 for one night. They have great food, great people working here, everyone's been very helpful.

It has turned into a problem when I checked in my husband had paid thru a 3rd party hotels .com had conformation number wanted my credit card for a 25 dollar hold for incidentals on Aug 9th today is Aug 22nd they put a hold on my credit card for 130. And 25. As of today it's still has a hold contacted the hotel the accountant said it would be released by Monday at latest called back tuesday no return call wed. Had to contact corporate their going to try to fix we will see very disappointing

I am a frequent Traveller, so i see what Service is all about. I find the Front desk non accommodating, i ask the front desk about my HiltonHonor and as a member i ask if i can get my points even if it's the company who paid for the accommodation, the response was unfriendly. I was dissappounted on how she'd looked at me while i was inquiring about it. In yerms of room, a lot of amenities were missing such as slippers and even complimentary toothpaste and toothbrush. All in all it was poorest service i have encountered.

Bad customer service. Got charged an additional night for no reason and I'm still calling trying to get my refund. The Front Desk manager was rude and not helpful at all. My company will not be using this hotel anymore.

Beds were very comfortable, but OMG the flipping service! It takes too long...it wasn't until the next day when they finally figured out what they did wrong and how they double charged us for parking. Yes, you pay for parking! Then they dropped us off at the wrong port...it was so frustrating!!

The rooms need to be renovated ASAP. I check my room everytime I travel. For this to hotel to be a part of the Hilton Family was very disappointing. There was a dead roach on the wall and hair on the lamps, beds, and in the bathroom. The bathroom had mold in it and I had to kill a roach the morning I was leaving. If this wasn't a work trip, I would have checked out immediately. The common areas are decent but the rooms are a No Go. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

My first impression upon arriving at this hotel was that it was clean, the valet staff, bell hop staff and front desk staff were all very helpful and polite. When I entered our room (229), I was again pleased with the cleanliness, the modern decor and the pool view. The first night we hung out by the pool and ordered drinks and food. The pool area was nice; There was a cabana area, a hot tub, large pool, plenty of seating and a nice selection of music playing. When we arrived back to the room, I noticed what looked like a secretion stain on the couch, but I simply ignored it and put a blanket down over the area before sitting down. The next morning there were ants all over our leftover food. Again, I ignored it and placed it in a garbage bag and went on about our day. While checking out, I showed the guest agent pictures of the stain mentioned above along with all of the ants that were in the room. I never once complained, but merely wanted to bring this to their attention for future tenants. She apologized, but didn t offer to discount our room or provide us any Hilton reward points for our future stay. I m not the one to complain, but because if the lack of initiative from staff to ensure our satisfaction, I m rating this hotel 2 stars. At one point my husband was a diamond member, but because of experiences like this, we sometimes choose to book outside of Hilton. I strongly support Hilton, but would not recommend this location.

Great service, rooms are clean and and well maintained. Vallet parking staff is very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone whether they staying in Miami for business or pleasure, alone or with family. BTW great cookie u get when u check in, food thing u can always ask for an extra one :)

Rooms were clean but over priced. Restaurant, bar and breakfast all over priced. Ample Shopping attached to hotel and reasonable. No free shuttle to cruise port and airport shuttle runs late and over crowded.

The Double Tree is in a convenient location near t...

The Double Tree is in a convenient location near the airport on the center of Miami, but there isn't very much directly surrounding the hotel. The beds are comfortable, but the rooms aren't the nicest and ours even lacked a mini fridge. Some of the hotel staff is relatively helpful, but the front desk staff acted too busy sorting papers to help me. They also gave me incorrect information about my stay on multiple occasions. Finally, the valets were great. I had stuff stored in the bed of my truck and did not want to park in the regular lot so they were more than willing to keep it up front or within eyesight of the valet stand. Overall a mediocre hotel in need of upgrades and not worth what I paid.

Horrible horrible. No microwave, no fridge and the "house keeping" Knocks on your door at 9 AM until you answer. Only had clean towels once and a drink from the bar cost $18. The staff was beyond rude. Never again.

Area is surrounded by the usual Miami traffic and construction, but the hotel itself was very nice. Staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed on the Hilton honors floor and the complimentary breakfast was very much worth the price.

I am 52 years old. Never have I received service like this in my lifetime. Not an exagerration. From check-in with George, to the maitre'd, to the wait staff in the hotel restaurant. Superb........ Across the board! An unexpected trip to Miami, as we were supposed to be in the Cayman Islands. But bad weather and thunderstorms landed us here at Double Tree, overnight. They made an unpleasant situation, enjoyable. Every person asked of our ordeal and did everything they could do to help. We were so glad we ended up here. We truly felt cared for. Thank you to all!!! We woke up to bed bugs in the hotel room. There was a live one on my bed and a molt of one on the other bed. On the floor there were dead ones. It was clear they had sprayed for them before. My arm was completely bite up and itched and burn for an entire week after. The staff was super nice and cleaned all our stuff. They accommodated us. I will not be staying here again.

Clean room, hot tub didn t work, staff friendly, no fridge or microwave inside room, 30 minutes from Miami Beach, almost $500 with no free breakfast included. Nice hotel but would not recommend. Do not depend on free shuttle service we waited two hours and just took a cab!

The hotel was okay. I was expecting a bit more, being a DoubleTree, but it's okay. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. It felt a bit dated. But the staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Also, there was transportation to the cruise ships from the hotel for $15, per person (as of February 2019).
