DoubleTree Hotel & Miami Airport Convention Center Review

The worst hotel ever been. Our group booked many two-bed rooms for 4 people in each room. we only get one bed in the room and didn t get any improve before we leave. No compensation at all either.

Hotel was okay, but could hear people flushing their toilets and planes taking off.

The rooms were nice but it would have been nice to have a mini fridge or microwave in the room. The staff was very friendly.

It is convenient for when one is Old. It is only that it charges very expensive parquet and like to enter the mall.

Rooms weren't cleaned out. Same sheets from previous night. But other than that it was good. Service was good.

The bathroom was dirty. Hair everywhere. But very nice staff. One bad apple but the the hospitable nature of the rest of the staff made up for it.

No breakfast, makes Jack a grumpy boy! If you're not going to feed me without charging high prices for a golden corral style buffet, I'm not going to be satisfied with the rest of your mediocre amenities. Junk mail slid under the door every hour followed by the hotel bill in the morning was really classy too.

Nice hotel with good attractions shop, bar, restaurant. The rooms are clean and in good condition. Only one small breakfast was a terrible experience pay to enter the buffet and everything is empty the service of the waiters was terrible no one went to the table to serve coffee or juice the mass of the buffet was empty and take too long to fill. And then come with your bill and suggest you 18, 20 or 22 percent tip ... it was not nice breakfast ....

The room I booked wasn't available. Was changed to a room with smaller beds. Went to breakfast. Found out it was not included in the room rate. Server told us to go ahead and eat and she would take care of it. After we had eaten she brings us a bill for$50+. Will never stay here again.

The stores give good attention to the public in all the accessories they sell are attentive

The mini market by the dining room, they don't speak any English. I've been staying here for 5 days now, I've been getting the same sandwich for 5 day for my breakfast. today, I asked if they can heat it up for me, with a little bit of english they said "GO HEAT IT UP YOURSELF". My heart is broken!! I will never spend a quater in this hotel anymore. My husbund and I been using Hilton as our stay since years, I guess it's time to change it. if you dont speak spanish and you want to understand what the hotel personel is saying book somewhere else. Rude!

Attended an event here. It was nice, lots of walking, don't know about the hotel rooms. The conference room next to us, music was loud enough to be heard at the event I was attending.

Staff was friendly hotel is a bit rundown. Nothing really close to the hotel. So if you stay....stay to be close to the airport cause nothing else is around the hotel.

They are very clean! Bathrooms always have paper towels and soap. The $5 parking is annoying due to them not accepting tickets already bought sameday. Very spacious but food is limited and expensive.

We came here in April for the SoFlo Cake and Candy Expo- any baker or confectioners dream! The expo itself was wonderful, and the area spacious and clean. My only complaint is the parking, which was a bit far from the convention area and a little confusing as far as where to go for a first timer. Other than that, it was great.

I love going to Double Tree to the shops to buy jewelry, but in some of the stores, the prices are very high

The man who has a slight accent at the bar downstairs by the pool treated me like royalty i was so taken back by this ive never received this kind of service where im from ! Very impressive as a business owner myself

I went for a convention and it was really nice, older property but has stores decently priced and nice service in the restaurant, please see Sandy he was nice and will take care of you.

Very busy hotel. Mostly tourists from Europe take up majority of vacancies.

Hotel passing does not honor the other double trees

I haven't been in a room, but I have gone there for several events and it's nice but the restrooms are always clogged. Well, at least the women stall. Their event rooms are huge and well maintained also it smells good.

I was there conducting the training. Food they serve for lunch is a joke. Also there is no help when you need it.

Good service from hotel manager who made personal effort to get me a high floor room. Love the well equipped gym.

We saw a huge rat run by us while we were at the hotel bar. Enough said.

The DoubleTree is such a wonderful place, great food, close to the airport and adjacent to the Miami Airport Convention Center which is super convenient!

They're always very kind and attentive. I especially like the little touches. Like the free flavored water and free cookies. Truly shows they care.

Friendly staff,Clean and Neat rooms..Just 15 min from the airport and there is a shuttle service that runs 24 hrs.

the breakfast is amazing, however it is far from downtown Miami. The facilities are a bit old and the adjoining mall does not have much variety. Walking is impossible to reach any tourist site.

I stayed for 15 days in this hotel and can only post praise! Whenever I return to Miami I want to be able to stay there again!

To be a Hilton Hotel it needs to be 5 stars, there were no extra pillows, no sheets, they did not leave me soap, one night I could not sleep for the revolution in the next room until 3 am, a terrible experience.

A beautiful hotel with a bit of shopping nearby. The location is pretty close to the airport (about 20 minutes), but far away enough that the sound of airplanes taking off/landing isn't noticeable.

Good place is ok, service awesome special the concierge mr.Raul the best.

Good hotel, nice breakfast buffet with smoked salmon and an omelet station. One thing negative they do not accept packages but contract that to the UPS store inside which charged me $25 just to pick up my small box

Very nice. Way more upscale than you might expect. Bar good, cafe is very good. Staff was uniformly nice. Rather inexpensive as well.

Pick up from the airport took over 30 minutes, was too long. The welcome was very nice, I am a Diamond Member and received a pseudo upgrade to an executive room, but the lounge was not good. Beer had to be paid directly for $ 4 cash. Breakfast was in the restaurant which was quite good, also a large pool and gym available. All in all pretty neat.

Extremely outdated and dirty. Would not stay again.

Great staff, awesome housekeeping, airport is nearby, nice pool (not alot of privacy considering the location of the pool), nothing special about the room I got only a nice king size bed, shower head was a bit rusty, $17 per person for breakfast and parking is not free. Wish there was atleast a mini fridge and microwave in the room.

Eh, Hotel was clean and decent. The mall attached was kinda sketchy though.

When we first arrived in the room there were no wash cloths and 3 towels.. We asked several times for them only to receive towels again. The staff are are rude., and i saw a bug in the kitchen. Don't go here.

Excellent staff however the non-smoking room smell like smoke.
