FLEAS!!! Even though the staff was nice and the lounge area impressive, the rooms itself were very outdated, dirty (food crumbs on the floor) and most importantly- the first room we got had FLEAS in it. Couple minutes after we checked in I started feeling something crawling up on my legs and it turned out to be little black jumping bugs. We quickly got out and the staff offered another room which thankfully didn't have them but again, it definitely wasn't vacuumed as well. I would not want to stay in this hotel ever again.

What an awesome hotel. The starff is what makes this hotel such an amazing place to stay. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. From the Barista in the coffee shop, to the Manager himself, they are all wonderful! If you have a chance to stay here, please do. You will be very happy.

For the professional conference I attended the double tree was a bad experience.

In order to catch a fair summary of the event I will list some things I liked or disliked.
Pros:
The rooms for the conference were spacious and inviting.
There was plenty of rooms for the conference to be held.
The architecture was very nice and the facilities were well mantained.
Cons:
Staff seemed to be behind constantly. Although some of this was because of the organization of the conference.
Water, coffee and complimentary food was constantly out and never in a rush to be restock.
The air-conditioning became a nuisance by being loud and constantly turning on and off.
The tent (could be possibly used for an event) outside has plenty of holes which leaked onto our lunches when it rained.

The hotel may be a nice place to stay at but for professional events I do not recommend.

I stayed here twice and enjoyed both visits greatly. The first time I stayed was in the King Junior Suite and I've never seen a larger bathtub in my life. You could literally swim in it. If outdoor swimming is more your thing, the swimming pool is great. Lots of wine tours pick up from the hotel and the nearby Japanese restaurant is a must visit.

Double Tree By Hilton Hotel Sonoma Wine Country in...

Double Tree By Hilton Hotel Sonoma Wine Country in Rohnert Park, CA is a beautiful property with an outside pool (open now) Gym, Bar, pool table and several meeting space and around 230 or so sleeping bedrooms.

Aside from the Interior and exterior of the property being aesthetically pleasing, clean maintaining proper covid-19 procedures. Aside from all of that, I found the customer service to be quite lacking.

Upon making my hotel reservation through Expedia, I wrote in notation stating that I would be arriving there as an early check-in around 3 in the morning, I also wrote if I needed to be charged a fee for an early check-in I understood and that I am allergic to feathers and if all feathers could be removed from my room.

I called the hotel a few days before my arrival because I needed to make changes to my reservation and I wanted to confirm that I would still be able to check in at 3 in the morning. I was assured that my request for an early check-in shouldn't be an issue and the information would be passed on appropriately.

When I arrived at the hotel, the night auditor was sitting down in the chair and didn't bother standing up and greet me as I approached her. I informed her that I was checking in and she looked like she was not informed of circumstance she had said she hoped there would be a room available for me.

The night auditor did not explain to me about any of the Covid procedures that were in place for the hotel nor about breakfast, nor about Wi-Fi, nor was I given a property map or was I asked to be a Hilton Honors member. To which I had to ask.

When I went to my to room I saw there was a covid protection sticker on the door but I didn't know if that was the room I was supposed to go into or not because I was not informed of the procedure.

As I got into the room I realized I did not have the Wi-Fi information so I walked back downstairs and asked what the Wi-Fi code was and that's when I asked about the Hilton Honors program.

The night auditor had two chances to approached me about the honors program without having me prompt her. She negated to utilize those opportunities.

The room was excellent, I enjoyed the comfortable bed!! It was however unerving to know that the door to the balcony was unlocked. I only realized it when I woke up and went outside.

When I went to check out that night, because I had to catch the greyhound back home. I was met with the same night auditor who again didn't stand and greet me as I approached the desk. I informed her that I was checking out and she looked shocked and asked me if there was anything wrong with the room or my stay. I was quite annoyed because she did not seemed to make a personal connection with me because I had only just spoken with her in the morning and told her that I would be checking out around this time.

The only staff that was memorable that made me smile was the bartender. - Before the drinks.

Carlos? I believe is his name. Very friendly & personable.

I would say your takeaway should be to retrain your staff, even while wearing a mask you can tell if somebody is smiling. I was not greeted and did not feel welcomed. Anytime a guest walks by if there is conversation among the staff unless it's really important should stop & greet the guests.

Aside from the poor customer service I received, I will still recommend this wonderful hotel and I do look forward to staying there in the near future.

Be prepared to walk a mile to get to your room. We have a baby so we had like 2 tons of equipment with us and there is no quick trip to the car.
The room was ok, bed was too soft and we had a view of the air conditioners.
For the price, I was very underwhelmed.

Visited a friend of mine and she was staying over at the DoubleTree Hilton, which I find to be clean and friendly. The room she was in was pretty big and the reason for that... She had booked a room about two months ago and when that time came for her to check in, someone screwed up and gave her room to another guest. They were quick to make things right with an upgrade and gift cards as well as meals on the house for two. The staff were kind and ready to be at your service. I recommend this hotel for sure.

I've stayed at this location twice in the past year and both times I received exceptional service. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and helpful. The hotel is in a convenient location, especially if winery visits are on the agenda. There is a restaurant inside the hotel and there's a pizza parlor within walking distance. A couple of Starbucks locations are nearby in each direction, as well as a few dining establishments, such as Amy's Drive thru, Chick Fila, Subway, In & Out Burger, etc. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are the most comfortable of all hotel brands. The jacuzzi suite has an enormous bathroom, a dining area, a desk, and a sofa sleeper, in addition to the king sized bed. The double room has a spacious bathroom, with ample counter space, and a shower tub combo. The room has 2 double beds, a desk, and a small sofa in the seating area. Rooms and Suites have closets, safes, small refrigerators and Keurig coffee makers, along with complimentary coffee. My most recent stay included a special surprise for my mother, as it was her birthday. That nice little touch really made her day and was very much appreciated! Doubletree also provides guests with the most delicious, warm cookies upon arrival! In the lobby, there's a large seating area, a billiards table, a computer work station, a little cafe, a lovely fountain and a relaxing fireplace. Outside, there's a courtyard with more seating, fire pits, a swimming pool, and a gazebo. There are ice machines on every floor, vending machines, guest laundry rooms and a workout room. I'm sure I forgot a few things, but that should be enough detail for those (like me) who use reviews to assist in the decision making process. I do not work for Doubletree or Hilton, nor did I receive payment for this review, I'm just giving credit where credit is due, and I'm providing information to others, based on personal experience.

This hotel is a nice spot for family gathering and high school reunions. The rooms are decent and the location is great - sitting away from the big cities surrounding and located next to a "lake" and dog park. The staff is friendly and courteous making sure you have a pleasant stay. Check it out if you're ever on your way through.

There is a bus stop for the Sonoma County Airport Express Bus right in front so very convenient to get to SFO. Nice, clean rooms. Golf course next door. Overpriced but decent restaurant. Beautiful grounds.

I am going with a 3 star but let start with the positives. Stayed over here recently . It has a very classy lounge area. The rooms are very spacious and I like the ambience in general. The swimming pool is open but pool tables and sit in breakfasts areas were closed.
Reasons for 3 star, the phone wasn't working , there were dental kits or shower caps and I had run around a few times . The hotel staff though very courteous could not locate my hilton gold membership Witt my name or other IDs and wrongly informed that it's not if any use if I booked the room from a third party website . In addition there was no help on local places to see and was asked to Google it. But it appears my experience was unique and I have no hesitation in recommending this place if you everything you need and know what you want to do here.

Loved my stay at Double Tree! Close to my work assignment in Santa Rosa. Didn't have to leave to get great food and a couple of drinks. I definitely recommend this hotel and plan on returning for another full weekend.

Stayed in presidential suite for a non-presisential rate - affordable luxury. The bath is a very large Jacuzzi, and it's very peaceful. Great place to unwind or get work done. Staff every friendly and helpful and also non intrusive. Will return!

We did not enjoy our stay here. The hotel is act...

We did not enjoy our stay here. The hotel is actually a shell containing the bar restaurant and reception and looks quite grand. The. Bedrooms are outside the hotel and of much lower quality. We paid well over $600 for a three night stay including the $8 a day for the privilege of parking our own car.
The first room we were given was horrible, dark and dingy and overlooking a roof and chimney exhausts. We went back to reception and asked for a better room and even offered to pay for an upgrade. We were told that all the rooms were the same unless we took a suite which would be another $200 a night!
Eventually, after making a big deal out trying to find an alternative, we were offered another room at $10 a night more. The room turned out to be identical but looked out over a noisy pool instead of a roof. Why it took so long to assign the room was a mystery as the hotel was empty the follow Monday and Tuesday. Just as well as the water was switched off from 10 till 5 on Monday and on Tuesday we had Luke warm and then cold water for our shower.
We had asked for a feather free bed and housekeeping brought us replacement. Unfortunately 3 out of the 4 were actually duck feathers. Luckily we checked and avoided a major allergy attack.
The rooms are old, low ceiling affairs with poorly maintained bathrooms (fittings and hardly working extractor fan with some mound).
Breakfast is expensive, the buffet at $19 is not value and al la cartel takes ages.
At checkout we were offered a $50 discount but it hardly made up for the troubles.
One last comment, the hotel has signs everywhere stating that they want customers to enjoy their stay and if there s a problem they will fix it. This is clearly nonsense and just advertising. We did complain both to the front desk and in reply to the 3 text messages we received but alas no one was really interested.

Nice place. Layout is a little too far spaced out. Had to walk about 100 yards to my room to find out neither key worked. But besides that, standard DoubleTree experience. Oh and no free breakfast for gold & diamond members like most other hiltons...

Only there for dinner but it was very good. Big beautiful place. Looks like the place to stay if you're visiting Rohnert Park or Sonoma State University (which is less then a ten minute drive away).

Overall the hotel was good. We got a fairly clean and very spacious room with a common balcony facing the pool. The hotel has a nice area to hangout by the pool and is a short drive from some beautiful wineries and vineyards.

A nice Hilton property just off the US-101 in Rohnert Park/Santa Rosa area. Large property and spacious lobby area make a very welcoming atmosphere. The guest rooms are a nice size and have a good-sized footprint, but the interior and decor seem a bit dated. Ample parking and easy access to the guest rooms with elevators on corners of the building. Overall, a very nice hotel.

Service was great, the building clean, the front well gardened. The beds were hard, pillows offer no support so you would need 5 of them to sleep. The bathrooms were ok and clean. The shower was too small for my taste. I would not recomend this to anyone with a wheel chair. It does have ramps, it does have parking, but to shower I could see it being difficult. Check out was easy, check in was easy and the people at the desk were friendly and offered great advice. Overall good place to crash for the night.

disappointed. seems like older hotel with dimly lit hallways. I stayed in a double with a patio - room was very large but seemed too large. room was also not cleaned very well after our first night there, cup in coffee maker had coffee splashes on it and empty shampoo container in shower. location is convenient and off the beaten path so that is a plus.
