The hotel is very welcoming and the lay out is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great.

The hotel is very welcoming and the lay out is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great.
Never again . I had horrible experience at this place. We came in the hotel at 3:00 pm where check in time is 4:00. They overbooked rooms to an extent where they had no rooms to give at 5:00 pm. When I asked for my refund for the room, they keep saying give me a second and I will find a room for you. My family vacation turned into waiting for check in. There were weddings in the hotel where guest were not checked in and were worried of their timely ceremony.
I would never come back here . I wish there is room for negative stars then I would have given that.
And finally around 6:30 pm we had to look for other hotel, it was same answer.
Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and well equipped gym. Highly recommend.
Facilities are older and falling apart, with no working water fountains, elevators broken, locks literally falling off doors, and no way to control climate in the room. But, the staff was amazingly accommodating, the beds functional enough, and the space itself well designed. Food provided was adequate for survival, but about as appetizing as McDonald's.
One star given for the cleanliness, one given for the staff.
Walls are a bit thin and not a lot of hot water in the am for showers.
We arrived around 3pm and our room was hot as the devil. We had to call a couple of times to get maintenance but their reception staff were courteous and suggested the pool which was amazing.
After;still no ac we went to dinner.....also dynamite the executive chef Mike s. Is the best I have ever seen in a hotel. His cuisine is not hotel food it is outstanding, trendy but original. Even if you don't stay you must try them.
By now it's 11pm and we stopped by reception and met Rachel B. After she heard the story she checked and the ac unit needed work. Now she was faced with an issue...no more double queen bed rooms and we are with our sons age 11 and 8. I was not up for the idea of going to another hotel at midnight we had come for the resort!
What Rachel did next was truly outstanding service by thinking outside the box. She found a room that hadn't had its status changed to done, may not be clean or something wrong. Her partner had been listening ( excellent training) and said she could watch the desk. Rachel then escorted us to check out the room which was clean, cool and beautiful. They had pulled the fridge which we didn't need and probably the cause the status on hold. Rachel averted a nightmare!.
When we checked out we spoke to assistant manager Yasir R. When he heard the story he asked if we planned to come again which replied due to Rachel we would. He offered to make concessions on our next stay to make up for inconvenience which we glady accepted. Also excellent training because a few bucks off may have been a parting gift, instead we are looking forward to our next stay.
The value you was ok, the service made it priceless. You must try them. You won't be disappointed

The drinks are over priced at the bar. The DJ is a buzz kill big disappointed. He should not DJ for the rest of his life. He should not be hired again.
Services at the resort were hit and miss, mostly depending on the person you ran into. Housekeeping, waiters, bartenders were all great. Location itself was beautiful. If you are booking a stay, keep in mind that the resort will only shuttle you to the White Plains airport, and even then only for certain airlines that they have contracts with. Taxis into the airport or to the train station are $45 minimum (bring cash). You can catch an Uber or Lyft, but they're less reliable and not very numerous. There are free clinics for golf and tennis, but only on certain days and the vast majority of services are extra. Altogether a very mixed bag.
Easy to find the location, the room was ok, and the services were fantastic
Nice and comfy, rooms were a little out dated for the price of the room. My family loved it. We will return again. Customer service was superb.
I like the place but these fools need to stop knocking on doors at 10-11 like it s a motel six. I had added days to my stat repeatedly and they kept knocking and would not let me sleep. They want you gone. They even got mad that I parked in the front entrance claiming where everyone parks is the fire lane. They mentioned needed to call the cops on several guests cars. Totally not professional. Totally not even a four star attitude.
Rooms, old leaky facets checkin was delayed due to room not being ready till after check in time maids, weee wonderful and friendly
Needs updating, expensive for a place that looks as if abandoned in appearance.
It's a shadow of it's former glory. Everything is fine, but not great. You can tell it used to be a very updated okay but the hotel just doesn't live up to what it used to be.
Nice challenging 9 hole course
Drinks and food after the game were also very good
Really x nice was a little disappointed the buffet was closed so Sat night
This place is beautiful and immaculately designed. Golf, tennis, basketball, swimming, and much more available. Restaurant and very nice rooms with hung flat screen TVs. Lovely place for a wedding or hosting an event.
The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because I'm from a Atlanta where there's something open all the time. We arrived on Thursday right at 10pm and everything was closed except for the bar. We ordered cocktails and asked if we could eat our food delivery at the bar. Nope, but they were considerate and allowed us to use tables outside the bar which was fine. BUT they closed the bar down early because they didn't have enough business....there were plenty of patrons in the bar! Boo!!
I attended a wedding at the Doral Arrowwood. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor patio was great for the cocktail hour and the ballroom had a good amount of space for dinner and dancing.
Solid 2 star. Booked with a crib in the reservation. Asked again at check in. Said housekeeping would bring it up. Arrived to a renovated room with broken air conditioning. Crib never arrived. 3 hours later, I asked again. Again, crib did not come. Neither did the engineer to check the A.C. After another hour, no crib. At 1230am I went scavenging and found a room of broken cribs, one of which was only missing a wheel.
Just to be safe, I led a very nice lady from the front desk down to see, and she provided 2 reams of paper to stabilize the crib. Still broken A.C.
Finally the other very nice lady switched us to another room, which was fine.
If you are looking for an inexpensive weekend away, this place is ok, sort of.
the pool is too small, the staff is nice but the restaurants are mediocre and expensive.
Nice place for company holiday party, but needs more accessible entrance for guest parking. On a freezing cold night, we had to walk a long way down a hill in the dark to get to the main entrance as the rear entrance was shut. Knowing there was a big event scheduled (as well as another going on at the same time) they should have had someone at the second entrance.
Food is great. Rooms are dated. Nice place to spend with the family.
A very cool resort with very cool grounds. I found the staff very helpful and accommodating of my needs. The rooms are nce and sizable but the hallway volume travels in quite a bit. Otherwise, enjoyed the experience.
Dated exterior. Rennovated interior. Well meaning staff keep it clean but not as nice as it probably once was. Food generally mediocre with some very good beef dishes.
Food is not so good. But a good place to swim and meet up with pple from out of town.
I've been here before and so far I like coming here both times, no complaints whatsoever.
We have stayed here on a few occasions visiting our son at SUNY Purchase. It is very close to campus. It 9s also very close to Westchester County Airport.
The rooms are nice but quite a hike from the front deal. Make sure tohavegood walking shoes.
The pub wasn't great, but everything else in the hotel was.
Nice hotel. Great golf course. Nice club with pool tables.
Very old and dated. Staff is friendly. Walk to room was about half a mile. Strange layout.
Hotel is nice in appearance when you first walk in, but looks can be deceiving. Rooms are definitely dated. Dirty towels and stained bed linens in room. We felt as if we were sitting in dirty water in the hot tub and the cushion cover for the pool chairs were soiled.
Pool always broken Screaming kids who are taking lessons
Great conference facilities, however hotel rooms are in desperate need of some updating.
If cauggt on the tight night, this is a great place to hang out and/or watch a game.
I was here for a family event. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The buffet was excellent.
Sharia - you are an amazing and an extremely valuable employee. Thank you for making my check in go super smooth. Everything was
Perfect upon arrival for my early check in. Love Doral as an overall hotel but you will definitely be my go to girl!!! Ps thank you for checking up on our family after check in to see how things went- again, amazing customer service. ABOVE AND BEYOND.
It is a very large facility and has several very nice amenities. However, it is aging and our room was dated and in need of a freshening up. They are working on things which was encouraging to see. There are several nice restaurants and staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. So long as they keep updating, the facility is a worthwhile place to consider. They are adequately set up for hosting large groups and conferences.
Rooms are a little outdated. Facilities are great. Overnight staff is than cheerful.
It's simply old and out of date. WiFi cost extra. Breakfast is 20 bucks 10 bucks for kids. No USB outlets in the room. The pool close at 815. Besides a bar there is nothing to do after 9 at this place after 9. For the price of the room I expected a lot more than we got.
Old room furnishings but clean. Excellent amenities, great gym, pool, racquetball, very good restaurants. "I will be back"
Wonderful golf resort. I liked the hotel architecture, those trees inside in a sort of greenhouse and the large inside and heated pool with guardian on duty.
Doral appears to be a slightly older resort however it does have modern decor and features. Rooms have doors that slam pretty hard and the White Plains airport is about 10 minute drive away, making it a bit noisy at times. Grounds are well maintained and facilities are clean. I was staying for a conference so I didn't golf or have an opportunity to explore surrounding areas. Food served during conference was very good. Staff were very polite and helpful.
Didn't look like on the pictures. It needs a renovation.
The facilities are awesome, especially the pool and the health club. If you like tennis and golf, it;s the place to be. The hotel is very clean, but the building is aged... It reminds me a fancy hotel from the 1980s that was updated a bit in the 1990s.
We were told beforehand that we could check into our rooms at 3. Lots of us were still waiting for rooms at 5:30. Our breakout sessions were supposed to be grouped together but weren't. The food and rooms were nice, though.
Beautiful event space with incredible staff. It was gorgeous.
A great place for a quick getaway or even a corporate retreat! The grounds are beautiful and the resort has several amenities for both adults and children. There is an indoor/outdoor pool, jacuzzi, game/sports center, and pub. In the lobby, the resort puts out fruit infused water and warm beverages and in the evening there were some complimentary tapas style foods.
The resort offers a breakfast buffet that is reasonably priced. However it makes more sense to drive into Old Greenwich for breakfast or brunch, if you are able to!
The rooms were clean, albeit outdated. I believe each room had a Keurig. The resort is sprawling and our room was .4 miles from the main lobby according to Google maps. If you're traveling with family that might want a shorter walk, consider requesting a room closer to the lobby.
Great stay. Look forward to the next one. Great service. Great room. New renovations are coming along great
Nice place! Golf, tennis, swimming pools and great breakfast.
Great customer service with Ayra at the front desk. Sweet, charming, and polite. She understood our concerns and helped us out tremendously.
Golf course, tennis course, ping pong, pools, arcade, driving range, and pub has billiards. So lots to do. Breakfast is a wonderful buffett with fresh ingredients and a nice view of the course. (whether breakfast is included seems to vary but it's not expensive anyway)
It's a nice hotel that's in desperate need for updating. It's still feels 70's county clubish. The lunch buffett is overpriced and not very good.
Went there for an overnight stay. I thought the resort was very nice but could use a little improvement. When I stayed I used the indoor and outdoor pool and they were both nice. The rooms were clean and the service was friendly and quick. I ate at the buffet which I thought the food was very good but it lacked choices for the hefty price they were asking. The arcade had very old video games and needed be redone. All said and done I really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely return.
Perfect place to stay if you have a student attending Purchase College.
Overall a good experience, but the hotel shows definite signs of aging.
The food is excellent and the facilities are great for large groups. All issues we attended to quickly. It was obvious that the owners were investing in improvement from my visit last year.
Good price on rooms, food is very expensive. Rooms are nothing special and definitely outdated.
Amazing place. Was visiting to see a couple shows at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester.
Very cool layout to the hotel. Kinda trippy after being B4L for a weekend.
Went to the pub . Very laid back atmosphere. Good service. Food was good . Beers were more expensive than most places but in a hotel it's to be expected. Only drawback was the DJ. It was a nice quiet relaxing night until the DJ started blasting music to a completely empty dance floor. Not enough people in the place to do that.
