It looks sober when viewed from the outside, but the inside was wonderful with its calm and glamorous. It is nice to find a good place to be in this place because it is vacant for the unobtrusive minute.

Giving full 5 stars for its FANTASTIC Location! 5 mins walk to Shinjuku station/Shinjuku expressway bus terminal (to your left) and 6 mins walk to Yoyogi station (to your right), how more convenient can it get! Room is of a decent size given the common impression that hotel rooms are tiny in Tokyo. Super satisfied with my stay!!

It's always hard to review hotels in Japan with anything less than five stars, even when there are a handful of nitpicks. Sure, the rooms are smaller than American rooms. The bathrooms tend to be somewhat claustrophobic as well. But here's the kicker: they are impeccably clean, staffed by helpful, friendly and (almost always) bi-lingual staff, reasonably priced, and offer a variety of services (in my case, I ordered a massage from the spa downstairs, as I was travel worn and exhausted). There are few hotels more conveniently located within Tokyo as the Sunroute Shinjuku, which is spitting distance from Shinjuku station (on the Yamanote line), and walking distance from the bustling heart of one of the most exciting wards of Tokyo. Harajuku, Shibyua, Ikebukuro and Akihabara are all 15 minutes away or away by train, and for the more adventurous, the "seedy" alleys of Kabuki-cho await on the other side of the station. While you can find better prices for a hotel in Tokyo, the Sunroute Shinjuku is very reasonable considering its location, putting you in the heart of the largest metropolis on Earth, and ensuring that the rest of Tokyo is accessible to you within 30 minutes and a couple train hops.

Love the location - really conveniently location on the south side of Shinjuku (the night life is east of the station), the rooms were clean etc. The room that I stayed in (the economy double room) was super small for about AUD150 per night but honestly did the job fairly well. Would recommend!

Very conveniently located in Shinjuku with short walking distance to the busiest areas. Right next to hotel front door is the Shinjuku JR "South Exit".

Airport Limousine Bus runs between Narita airport and hotel front door. This hotel is the last stop pf this route. You can book bus tickets back to airport at hotel counter.

Hotel guest room wifi is very slow for download (overseas traffic), but fast for upload.

Room is well equipped with small things such as a desktop clock analog, a mirror on desk, iron board (the double boards that you can iron your whole jacket in one go)

Noticed stain under the cover of toilet bowl that coud have been cleaned quite easily.

The room equipment is old and the space is not big, there is a clean air humidifier, the location is very close to the subway station, the neighborhood is very busy, the night is very lively, there are basic toiletries, the hotel is the Limujin bus stop, the airport is very close Convenient ~

It is close to Shinjuku Station and has convenient transportation. But the room is fine, if you use more than 29 miles, you need to put it in bed before you can fully open it (may be a separate room). In addition, the room Wi-Fi super slow can completely ignore the delusion of YouTube, or the uploading of social networking sites will be successful, until about 2 o'clock in the morning can improve the Internet speed (four nights are the same situation)

I was very pleased. It's an incredibly convenient location with very reasonably priced single rooms, especially if you stay 3 days or more (or even better, 6 days or more). Breakfast buffet is cheap & tasty as well. Friendly and helpful staff, they gave directions & a train system map to a first-time tourist like me.

Only complaint is that the wireless Internet is shaky (interference?), but plugging a laptop in old-fashioned wired style with the provided network cable fixes that problem.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIR ven. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

Great location only a short walk from Shinjuku station. A bit quieter than the usual Shinjuku area. Service was good. Rooms are small as usual in Tokyo but nothing to complain about. Has coin laundry which was very useful.

Rooms are clean.. Staff are friendly. English at the front desk and restaurant were a little challenging. My main issue was when paying for hotel. They will convert yen into your currency and then add a hidden fee on top of that. Not disclosed until after paying. Not happy with this. Watch your receipt or directly ask them to pay in Yen to avoid the additional fees being charged.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Shinjuku station making commuting very easy. There's plenty of shopping and food around, especially in the station which is huge!
The hotel is on a small street so it's fairly quiet (as quiet as you can get in a busy city like Tokyo), staff are bilingual and were lovely and helpful. It rained a few days we were there and the hotel provided umbrellas in the front lobby which were very much appreciated. The rooms are a decent size and I love that they have big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash rather than replacing the little travel ones every day. The beds were not particularly comfortable (fairly hard beds with soft, flat pillows) but this was standard throughout our stay in Japan.

Great location!!!

Dirty, small, old and definitely not worth the price. Worst experience I ve have in all 5 Japanese hotel. The most expensive one though.

Avoid at all cost or you will face the doom of this horrible hotel.

The location is very good. Very friendly staff, but they need to reform the rooms a bit. I have come to Japan for the last 10 years and have stayed here on several occasions. We like the hotel a lot but this last time we have noticed that the rooms are in need of renovation.
It is next to Shinjuku station, has many food stores and restaurants nearby, shops like Tokyu Hands and Uniqlo next door ... it is one of the best places to stay. In full Shinjuku. If they update the rooms it would be unbeatable

Decent Hotel option in the middle of bustling Shinjuku district. Room size (Double Economy) is quite small and to add to it doesn't have adequate storage space. Not recommend for families with kids. Bus stops and Train stations (Yoyogi and Shinkjuku) are within walking distance. Great advantage is that Airport Limousine Bus has this hotel as one of the pickup locations.

Location: excellent. It's right beside a bunch of entrances to Shinjuku station and tons of shopping and food places. Exit A1 is the closest, but only certain train lines have access to this exit.

Rooms: quite small and cramped, but clean and they manage to fit in all the necessary amenities and pieces of furniture.

Check in/ luggage storage: they are extremely rigid about check in times and will not go out of their way to help you with early check in even if rooms are ready. However, they will help you to store your luggage so you can leave them alone for awhile until 2pm.
The good thing about this place is they allow you to store luggage at their hotel as long as you are returning again to stay at a later part of your trip.

One gripe was that we came here for the beginning and ending legs of our trip and had two different rooms. The first room had heated toilet seat, but the second one didn't. When we asked the hotel, they denied having any heated toilet seats in their rooms. That was puzzling when even outdoor public toilets have heated seats.

The hotel is super well located although it is not next to all the noise. The single rooms are small but with everything you need. I stayed in double single beds and they are also small. Better, if two go, stay in a double with two beds. The beds that are like this are not 90, they are a bit older and the room is also bigger. Everything is very good. The first videos of my YouTube channel What a Great Journey! I made them in Japan and I made many videos in the room. Especially the videos of recommendations. Oh, and the airport bus stops in front. And the Haneda airport bus one block away. I recommend it.

caution! !! !! !! The worst here!

caution! !! !! !! The worst here!

I was told that Uber Sweets should also be brought down by myself

I decided to stay only at APA Hotel in the future. 4 stars is an absolute lie! !! !!

Other correspondence was also the worst. Check-in takes a lot of time like a government office, and I will only do work that can be done by machine! The attitude of the staff who said. .. ..
Since there is only one outlet around the bed, you cannot charge your cellphone if you boil it to prevent it from drying out.
The counter support was also the worst than AI. Rather, AI may have been faster. The APA Hotel will be more humane. I expected the service because it is higher than Apa, but there was none.

Very well located, can speak English, rooms are clean.
Downside: rooms are small, TV channels choice, front desk flexibility = 0. Check-in is at 2pm and doesn't even dare to look if room is ready, checkout by 10am, therefore the price is based on less than 20 hours rental.

I had a lunch. Salad with pasta, coffee with fruit buffet. It was an appropriate amount for lunch. The salad was not just lined with vegetables, but there were lots of different arrangements and I enjoyed it. It was also nice that there was no usual row or buffet feeling. It was decided to use it again.

Great location with short walking distance to Shinjuku station. Stayed for 4 nights in a twin room. Spacious. Just a bit pricey for 3 stars + hotel. Booked direct as the other hotel search portals indicated full. Breakfast was the same everyday. Be good to have variety. Best part was they were able to keep my luggage for my alternative days stay. Once they even got them ready in my room after I checked in. Excellent service. Limousine bus station at door step. Will stay again but need to book early.

Location is very very good if you want to explore Shinjuku area. Food. entertainment, shopping and transportation hubs are at very close proximity. Room was extremely small, but we managed to squeeze in. If one is a big fella he/she should consider to ask for additional bed to fit in, because queen size bed was far smaller of what we expected.

We booked 7days one room for 2 adults and 2 children, we thought it was 2 big beds, we arrived at 10 pm in the winter. The front desk woman was so salty, she insisted us to one more room. We begged her to let us stay together at one room first, tommrrow we will find another room or buy with online. But she didnt care and want to understand. She said if we still try to stay together , then they will throw us out of hotel. This is called hospitality and service ??
