Buyers beware... Will share all details of the worst insurance or business experience ive ever had with any business or insurance company, how poorly i was treated by Donegal, how negligent my claim has been treated by their representatives and how they refuse to respond or conduct business in good faith now threateningme with attorneys trying not to pay. They lie and try not to pay claims after neglecting claims for 8 months to a year plus.... 2nd worst experience was with same company donegal and they never paid that claim from a neighbor dropping a tree on the house years ago and i was forced to fix out of pocket previously once already in 10 years of living here. buyer beware

0 stars. I was hit by their customer, I was asked to get my own quotes to save time due to the covid (put me at risk instead of then coming out like they are suppose to). Once I get my quote and body shop of choice, they come back with their own quote that was significantly less then the amount quoted. My question is why give someone a check, to the company they recommended me to at that, for way less know it s going to get disputed and not just make the process easier by giving the amount that was requested by the body shop??? When I asked these questions I was told that s what I ll get and they aren t going to explain it anymore as to why they do it that way. If I disagree then I can just take it up with my own insurance where I ll have to pay my deductible out of pocket. Wouldn t insure my stuff with this type of business.

Had wind tear siding of my house. I called Donegal and had an excellent customer service experience. The adjuster came the same day and explained everything. Had the check by the end of the week.

Just plain and simple the worse company I ve ever had to deal with. Won t even get into my claim because you wouldn t believe me if I told you what happened.

My vehicle was involved in an accident. They got on it right away the next day and have been very professional throughout this whole experience. I wanna say a huge thank you.

When my 92 yr old mother had roof damage from a storm two years ago, John the adjuster came within two days, contacted the roofer and communicated with the roofing company until the job was completed, even offering more coverage when the roofer found an unexpected expense.
This February my mother had fumes and smoke from her chimney and we weren't sure if Donegal should be called. John again was our adjuster and he came the next day to evaluate the situation. He even got his own chimney guy to evaluate her chimney flue and furnace flue for any hazardous situation. Both the chimney company and John were very kind and informative to me and my mother and concerned over the risks to her health. An expert report was sent to me so I would know what kind of changes we needed to make. Donegal and their adjuster John was quick to respond, very professional and kind and was able to cover for smoke damage.. I would recommend this company to provide homeowners insurance to any of my friends .

Took 5 months to settle my claim for a small fire. Had to hire someone to help me get my money. Was a customer for almost 20 years with only one claim long time ago. Now, they are one of a few who aren't giving any refunds to policy holders for their cars sitting in the garage for 2 months. Loyal customers are forgotten. How's that for appreciation.

Recommend to us by a gentleman working at the Philadelphia Airport. Fantastic, Authentic cheese steaks! The steak was tender large pieces and the seasoning was on point! The loaded fries are Amazing, a mix of thick cut fries layered with cheese wiz, huge slices of bacon and a very generous amount of mozzarella cheese! Definitely worth a visit!

Most worse insurance company in USA, please read all views before you buy this company insurance. I call for my roof, not covered fully and then cut money from my claim, when I paid lot of money from my packet, not response on phone, adjuster is main mean person, I send will many estimates but he never responded, does not pick up phone any time, no reply on emails and text. you must never have listened that insurance only pay for half of roof,
