Been here numerous times and highly enjoyed it. However on the latest visit we discovered that Ladbrooks has now closed due to the fall out, leaving only Tote and the independent bookies

Fabulous staff. Very attentive without being over bearing. Made very welcome. Afternoon tea superb value for money. Highly recommend.
Came for a staff xmas do. Had one of the boxes. Really good day out. Food was terrible though cold and flavourless. Staff was lovely
Needs more bogs. Queueses were enormous. All the horses finished in the song order too. Blimey Charlie.
Great place to visit wether your watching the racing or going to the many fares they have .it as access to everyone even a small cafe
Brilliant exhibition centre, and great food as well
I go there to do the toy fairs... but other events are available?
Have worked security at doncaster races and it is a fun place to be the staff are welcoming and happy to help and you never know you might win a few quid
Visited the racecourse for craft workshop and show. Bars not open (why not, I wonder) so cannot speak for these but other catering was satisfactory. Escalators to all floors although lift availability is limited. Lovey big planters add splashes of vibrant colour
It is a place for your event. I was here for a Doncaster Business show and the venue fitted in over a thousand people, visitors.
Even though it was winter, the venue was not cold but properly ventilated. The toilets were many for delegates to use and clean too at that.
If you want to hold an event, wedding or any party that requires number, you will be delighted to book the venue.
I am looking forward to a proper race some day.
The Crafting Live Event held here every July is fantastic.
The room is on the ground floor with accessible entrances and toilets. All the stalls are laid out in a grid so there is plenty of room to manoeuvre between them
Parking let's it sown a bit as the carpark is rough and at the opposite side of the road meaning those with limited mobility still have a bit of a walk
Went here for a charity boxing event, was decent. Table service a bit slow though.
Impressive racing location with a good number of bars inside and a great atmosphere by the track and in the stands. Only slight issue is a lack of variety in the food offering
Brilliant night but messed up my wheat free menu and told my friend who also has allergic reactions, she couldn't come as they were serving nuts. The had known since July.
I went to Doncaster racecourse last Saturday (18th) to prepare for my upcoming family and friends visit to St Leger Day .We have 12 tickets including a carer and a handicapped person for the County Enclosure so I wanted to be prepared as to how we would access , seating etc as it will obviously be a busy day. Unfortunately I did not wear the appropriate attire for the County Stand and was patronisingly told by the women at the gate that she would "escort me through to the general grandstand area " and she was very unhelpful with my questions about what to do on St Ledger Day. She made me feel like a second class citizen . Not everyone who wears a T shirt is low life , I happen to be a well educated high level businessman !!!!
Fortunately I managed to fulfill my mission later with the wonderful help of Amanda who understood what I was trying to do and who explained to me what the best option for the St Leger day would be . She even "broke the rules" I'm sure to give me a quick look at the first floor bar and grandstand access in the County Area which has enabled me to formulate my plan for St Leger Day
Thanks Amanda you showed some common sense .
Appalling !!! Two events cancelled. Promised new tickets for August, but heard nothing from them since their email. Very disappointed. Told to keep tickets from the day as proof, but then they said they can't find my paperwork, after already saying I could have new tickets. Not my fault they have bad admin, bad events booking & poor customer service. Stick to York races!!! 0/10
Great for a training day. Good food and facilities.
Amazing. Clean. Old toilets near old stand were a little dated and smelly but as I said they were old! Food court was great. Had nachos. Mmmm lovely! Great entertainment for the whole family. Finished the day watching The one and only Madness! Fantastic Day!!!
This is a brilliant place to have a wedding party and watch the races !
I visited for an event and not for racing. Good free parking across the road. Nice open spaces
Great event, nice setting. Place was clean and well kept
Cracking place food a bit on the expensive side though
Sweet,, a great day out in so many ways especially with a win or two. But much more so was the restaurant,, the Old Weighing Rooms was fabulous.. it's so so much better than the over rated Miller & Carter in my own opinion..
As it was my first time to the races it was a fantastic day, probably better in a group, and Jess Glynn topped it off.
Always have a good time and the facilities are very good. Won some money too
Model engineering exhibition was very good as usual.well organised and clean both building and services.
The facilities are great inside.
However the food inside is pricey ...the car park over the road is abysmal! Like a mud bath.
Loved it weather helped as nice James concert was great
Lovely race course, a great day out and if youre lucky a few quid in winnings to take home too.
Will defo return to do it all again, throughly enjoyed it.
Would of give 5 stars but the beer was about as strong as coca cola and was very expensive!
4th floor lounge has a great view of the race course but drinks are a bit pricey
What a complete shambles fri/sat going report awful standard of racing poor communication poor going downhill only 5 bookies County side they were wise trainers seen thru Sat's awful going and withdrew 21 runners for a grade 1 track a disgracr
We all had a great day at the races, always very busy during race time, we will be back again soon.
Fantastic day out for large groups or small parties.
Great day out cold today but still enjoyable was a family day loads of kids loving the rides and the experience great family day out
Very dirty and seedy as you would expect of a gambling place. We were there for a model railway show. The food was small amounts of expensive rubbish. Smokers were allowed to smoke near the doors so smoke is sucked in. A man on a stand was vaping inside! Couldn't wait to get out. It's my second try to look round here. I won't be going again.
Great place to some live bands after you been having a gamble good day out .with bats and food on offer
Had a brilliant day out, the food was great and the racing was awesome!
Well it's a racecourse in the middle of Doncaster. Food is poor and prices are beyond belief. They would certainly make more money if changes were made in the food hall. Course is nice and facilities are clean and tidy. They do have some miserable staff around.
Home of the oldest classic, st ledger. Excellent day out for all the family. Always something different from racing, to car shows.
The building is used for events outside of the horse racing season. Large indoor arena for lots of exhibits with a medium size cafe upstairs. Parking is often free over the road, but still worth checking on the website of the event you're visiting to confirm.
Entertaining way to lose money if you are as bad at gambling as me.
Really enjoy coming here. Great viewing area and excellent value for money.
not been here to see any raceing but the track looks good. great facilities here with food and drinks on raceday. even a car boot sale on at certain times....enjoy
Love it, amazing day out whether it be with family, friends or a work get together I always enjoy my days here. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food and drink is good too
Went to the the family day with the grandkids to see paw patrol. Waited from 3 till 4.20 and no sign of them when the sign stated the show times. Really disappointed that they never showed up and the boys kept asking for them.
Chaos as we arrived. People queuing outside for tickets in freezing cold while staff waited around to give out pre paid tickets. Very few seats indoors for county stand.Come on Doncaster Racecourse get your act together
Been to a toy fair, it was crowded, but worth going
Fantastic place would recomend staying in the hotel with racecourse view
