Fineco seems to approve your application first then it rejects on errors such as wrong document issued date or the middle name did not be 100% the same as the identity document.
Suggestion: I thought it would be bettered to check the application first and revert to applicant regarding errors for correction before approval.

Fineco bank has discriminatory policies as well as terrible customer service. Cuban citizens cannot open a bank account with Fineco, even if they are residents in the UK for many years and spouses of UK/EU citizens because Fineco has labelled them as a terrorist. Apparently, they have to follow this rule to respect the American embargoed (???). A private citizen is not a company, hence not under the embargoed regulations. I then had a conversation with customer service based in Milan. I have described the situation and asked if this can be discussed further. The person I have spoken with didn't even empathise for a minute, instead used a tone of superiority and just said sarcastically: 'thank you. Goodbye.' I am speechless...
PS to offer a solution for people interested in Fineco due to Filippo Basagni's comment: If you are travellers, Revolut is much better than Fineco. No charges for the standard account, one card to use worldwide and for the different currency (yes! only one card!), virtual cards and shopping cards to protect your account, many currencies, instant exchange rate and no fees; free transfer within EU for both sending and receiving.

I wanted to like Fineco and their platform but sadly, not only was it like pulling teeth to get the information that you needed, when you got the information it was not that brilliant. Not for the serious trader but maybe OK for the someone who does a few trades a year. I found the cutomer care to be very, very, very slooooowwwww. Wake up Fineco.

No more trading accounts, no more lists of websites to check different positions, all in one place (banking and trading). They have also their trading platform for mac and pc that is quite user-friendly. The best part of all these services is the customer care experience. Do you remember when Apple showed the world how well they take care of their customers and moved the focus on the customer experience after the purchase? FinecoBank seems to do the same in the banking environment. Definitely worth it, especially for those who travel in Europe often since you will have the possibility to use the euro account with the euro card for free and send and receive money via SEPA transfer free of charge.

Horrible experience, I tried to make a few transactions to my own account and the money never arrived despite receiving a confirmation that the transaction was successful , it took them weeks to get back to my emails, I still have money missing from my account, tried to contact them several times with no response. Avoid.
