Dominick’s Finer Foods Review

Overpriced, but at least they offer fresh produce. If dominicks could find a way to lower their prices without sacraficing the quality of food and service i would be happy.

They have cheap prices but not every item I usually buy. You can save with your Dominicks card which is quite good for me as a student. The staff is sometimes friendly and sometimes not so much.

Better than Jewel, but usually more expensive.
Not as good as Whole Foods, but less expensive.
My 4th choice in groceries.

The store is poorly lit, the prices are average, the products are average. Taking into account how many great things I heard by word of mouth I expected better. Nothing will ever compare to Publix. Customer service at the register was not good. I am very disappointed and would not shop here again. The bakery bread is pretty good in regards to softness and flavor, enough so that I may consider coming back.

This particular Dominick's is MUCH cheaper than any other Dominick's I've been to (or any other Jewel for that matter)! With very quick turnover of items due to everyone from the area shopping here, items are normally pretty fresh.

Fruits and veggies: these are probably the only expensive things in the entire store... Guess the healthier it is, the pricier it is. If you buy the berries, especially if they are on sale, eat them right away or else they start getting bad the next day.

Meats/seafood: meats are super cheap - cheapest I've seen in the area (even the organic stuff). If you get fresh seafood, make sure you pick and choose. The fishes and shrimp are normally pretty fresh because of the fast turnover. There are $5 lobster tails, but they are small and extremely unimpressive - not something you'd buy to show off cooking skills to a date.

Ice cream: there is always going to a brand of ice cream on sale. Also, Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Dazs is consistently on sale :)

Some items you should definitely get:
- the salsa made by the company.
- pizza - really yummy and super cheap
- fried chicken - don't bother getting it anywhere else

Don't listen to the negative reviews. This place is really nice, clean and always has fresh food and produce.

This place feels like a small town grocery store placed in a very busy city. Everyone is very helpful and always willing to help you find items or direct you too it. They have awesome deals and coupons!!

they are in a great locations. this is where i do all my grocery shopping. I can get everything i need there
