Over the years we have worked with many professionals, but none so efficient, thorough and professional as CH, the construction manager with DOMAIN HOMES. Lied about pulling permits for cutting oak trees. What else have they lied about? Did they get actual permits for the house they are building for you? Did you check? You might be liable if they didn't!!!

Cookie cutter homes that pop up everywhere taking away from the aesthetic of a neighborhood. They plop down these homes with no regard to natural surroundings, or to the character of a neighborhood. It's really sad.

Both Juan and Jason are exceptional representatives of Domain. Had a double closing today with both of them and it was amazing. Would highly recommend buying a home from Domain as the product is second to none and the service is equally as impressive. My wife and I cant wait to move tomorrow into our new home! Thanks again Domain!

I am a realtor who is also a certified new home specialist. With that being said, I have dealt with many builders for new homes for my clients over the years and my experience with Domain Homes and Juan Concheiro have been absolutely amazing. Their communication and responsiveness have been excellent. There was an issue with the buyers lending for my sellers home which prolonged the closing for a few weeks which affected them getting into their new Domain home. Domain homes went above and beyond with compassion, understating and patience and did what they needed to do to assure my clients were not homeless and made sure it was a smooth closing and worked with my buyers to get into their new home without flaw. They exceeded my buyers and my expectation. I look forward to working with them in the future. Their professionalism is an A++++++

Domain builds incredible, affordable homes and is a true asset to the communities they build in. One of the first builders to see the potential in beautifying historic West Tampa. Great options and exceptional customer service.

Very disappointed that Domain destroyed 2 very old & healthy trees on 4/14/18 in Ybor to make way for one of their mediocre homes without incorporating the trees into their plans. Respect the historic neighborhoods you're trying to invade w/ your cheap quality, overpriced cookie cutter homes that try super hard to blend in, but don't!!!!!

DO NOT buy a Domain Homes home! We did a few months ago and wish we could go back in time. The craftsmanship is cheap and low quality, severe lack of attention to detail, obvious flaws in floorplans and electrical planning that Domain Homes refuses to acknowledge. There's no lack of home builders. And it's not that Domain Homes is any cheaper than the others. Save yourself the headache....don't waste your time even considering Domain Homes.

I still stand by my original review and wanted to add a few words about their lack of service. We are approaching our 12 months since closing and I submitted a 1-year warranty request per protocol that their representative suggested. No one followed up even after 4 days. I know for a fact my email was received because I got an email response stating "someone will contact you shortly". I called them back today and was told to send another email. When you call Domain Homes, you always reach their Sales team and they simply push you off to the service team and ask you to keep emailing. And when you tell them you already did and there is no response, then they ask you to email this person or that person. I'll update my review as this unfolds but for now, I stand by my recommendation to NOT buy from Domain Homes.

Visionary builder that have the power of foresight. When people say location, they don t mean it like Domain does. It s been their vision that has helped bootstrap the rejuvenation of much of Tampa s Urban Core. If builders are tearing down lots Domain probably started the momentum.

Easy to work with and great design choices for clients at their design center. Definitely worth a look for people looking for newer constructions is Tampa s special older neighborhoods.

All I needed was to find the home. Which Domain had built in a great location. The closing process was even smoother. There was cooperation throughout and we closed on time. Coming from a real estate broker, I can truly value this. Domain is a positive builder to have in our communities.

I purchased my first home with Domain Homes and would never look back! The staff at the design center was very helpful in choosing the finishes inside and out and made my first home buying experience the best it could possibly be.

We are starting our fourth year in our Domain Home! Our home is holding up to the wear and tear of real family living. We've had little to no maintenance for a three year old home. As the HOA president of a Domain neighborhood, I can say that their service after the sale has proven to be superior over and over again. Domain Homes has zero respect for the architectural integrity, history or looks of the neighborhoods they build in. Concrete block towering boxes with zero design skill involved. Stop cutting down huge oak trees and ruining Tampa's most unique and historic area's!

My neighborhood is disgusted with each of these ugly houses popping up around us. Soulless eyesores.

I'm 110% satisfied with Domain Homes. I moved into my beautiful new house last month and am loving it! But from my first contact with Domain Homes thru the construction process and closing, the staff was helpful and available. It's a team of really nice, competent professionals who are up-to-date on your project, know your name, and treat you as an individual home buyer rather than as just another customer. Excellent quality, fair price, outstanding staff.

My experience with Domain Homes was amazing from start to finish. When my husband and I started looking for a home we got in contact with Jason Juanis who was extremely helpful. He let us tour some homes that were close to completion and we were impressed. At that time Domain didn t have a home in our desired location so Jason told us that he would keep us in mind if anything popped up where we wanted to be. Sure enough, a month or two later a home in our desired location became available. Jason contacted us immediately and we were under contract within a week. We met with Jon to pick our finishes and he helped us find high end finishes that we liked but that wouldn t blow the budget. I was worried that I wouldn t be able to have the luxury finishes I had in my previous home (from a custom builder), but I was able to have just about everything I wanted to create my desired aesthetic. Our construction manager Josh communicated with us every step of the way and gave us updates as construction continued with complete transparency. He was always available for questions and explained everything to us in detail. Josh always had our best interest in mind which was refreshing compared to our last builder. Our home was completed in only four months. The floor plan we have is thoughtfully designed and spacious. The location is central to everything in Tampa and in an A-rated school district. I never thought I d be able to land my dream home in a perfect location and still end up on budget. I highly recommend Domain Homes.

Domain Homes have NO respect for the home owner......NONE what so ever! Home owners who lived in there homes for 20 years Are constantly harassed to sell. When I told them no I did not want to sell my HOUSE I worked very hard for. After a year of hounding me to sell......I told them NO! ..They called the city code violation on me !

I watched them build a new home next door to me. I saw NO American labor being used on the job! NONE! Mexicans coming next door to my house wanting to barrow electricity, water, and what ever else they needed. Come look at one of there Domain homes 20 years from now when the builder is long gone! Because I think they use cheap materials

We had the opportunity get our new home built after the process had been started and it couldn't have been more easy and streamlined with Domain. My wife and I were well taken care of throughout the process and we would recommend them to others.

Domain Homes is an amazing builder with an awesome team. We worked directly with one of their Realtors, their VP of Brand Experience, one of their Interior Designers, and one of their Construction Managers, and they were all extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable (to say the least). We kept a close eye on our home as it went through the construction process, and all of the trades they brought in and the materials they used were top notch. We also had a great experience with the Lender they recommended for us and with the Title Company they use.

We have heard and read a lot of criticism about new construction taking away from the charm of South Tampa. My wife and I were both born and raised in South Tampa, and we love seeing the older homes that remind us of our childhood, but we are also honored to be part of the new construction movement that is revitalizing parts of the area. Domain s process allowed us to customize the appearance of our home, and we are extremely proud of our beautiful new home that now sits where a dilapidated, unkempt home used to be.

This is our family s forever home and we could not be any happier.

Our experience with Domain Homes was outstanding! Everyone we worked with was very professional, and they made the entire process completely stress free. They answered all of our questions in a very timely manner as well. Our home turned out beautiful and we have had zero issues after living here for the past two weeks. Domain Homes is destroying the character and integrity of St. Petersburg neighborhoods by building their cookie-cutter home designs over and over and over, next to one another, regardless of whether they fit the style of the neighborhood or not. When neighborhoods see Domain Homes buying lots, they know an unattractive vanilla home is being built, just like the last one, in total disrespect to the neighborhoods of St. Petersburg. A City is only as good as its neighborhoods and it's time to ask Domain Homes to go elsewhere.

Live across the street from a house being built by Domain. The contractors constantly use my property and specifically my driveway for their staging . They have left tire marks all over my concrete and pavers. I don't even drive on my pavers. When I called to adress the situation Jason was useless and Matt gave me his email to contact him with my concern . Have not heard from either. The trucks coming and going have left a bald spot where they drive up. It is obvious there is only concern on my part. However, I have been taking pictures and hope Sharon McSwain-President/Owner will do the right thing.

We purchased our home in its very early stages, so we had the pleasure of working with Domain from the day they poured the slab. Because of this, we were able to work with their designer on choosing many of the finishes and final details. This ended up being easy because Domain homes come standard with so many features that would be considered upgrades with other builders tons of wall outlets, recessed lighting, brushed nickel hardware, granite or quartz kitchen counter tops, the list goes on and on.

Everyone we worked with went above and beyond your typical customer care service experience. Our construction manager Brad was awesome to work with we could tell he took great pride in the quality of the workmanship of the home. (When we were doing our pre-drywall walk through, we mentioned that we would like to place our baby gate in a specific location at the top of the stairs, but it happened to be between studs. The very same day, Brad had reinforced the area with additional 2x4s, so that we d be all set when we moved in! This was something that might seem small and simple, but it really demonstrated to us just how different Domain is from other builders.)

We are extremely pleased with our home buying experience and truly feel like Domain built us a custom home. I would highly recommend this builder!

Domain Homes is like a swarm of locusts. They come in to a historic district, raze the land including beautiful mature trees and erect jerry-built cookie cutter homes that don't fit in well...then they leave to another historic area. Those trees Domain knocked down lived longer than any of their tawdry homes will last!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A smart, considerate & responsible company would know that mature trees that provide shade and lower energy costs is a huge selling point for homebuyers!!!!!!

We bought from Domain Homes in late 2017 and due to our family circumstances, we could not "afford" a single day delay in construction. Both the general contractor on site, and the staff behind the scenes worked very hard to ensure that construction would not be delayed. When you are building a home, so many hands are on site that it is impossible to be absolutely perfect, but I would recommend a Domain home to anyone looking to purchase. They really did a great job from the beginning when we hand selected all of our finishing touches to the end at closing.

We've been in our new house for just over 6 months. Everything has gone very well, but we're exceptionally pleased with our construction manager, Josh. We haven't had any major problems, but when something minor arises Josh has been amazing at fixing the problem. He always calls or texts back very quickly. Everyone else at Domain has also been great!

Domain Homes comes through on another great job for our customer. They were great on the customer service and making all of our requests happen. Keep up the great work!

Domain Homes should stay out of our historic urban neighborhoods. They build with a very suburban style - blah stucco panels with a tiny window here and there and a postage stamp of a yard.

Residents are up in arms about the two gorgeous trees they chopped down for their latest mediocrity, in property that never should have been zoned residential right on Palm and Nebraska. I speak not just for myself but for many when I say their product is NOT welcome here!

Let me tell ya 'bout my best friend! And by best friend, I mean my construction manager, Josh! He went above and beyond to make our Domain experience incredibly positive and memorable! Communication was so important to me and with so many other houses on his plate he still managed to make me feel like a priority, with constant updates and reassurance of our progression! In just 120 days, our house is truly something out of my dreams, with the quality and materials surpassing all our expectations! Can't wait to make this house a home. Thank you Domain!

Great company. Jason and Josh were great help throughout the process. Awesome layouts and choices along with helpful and friendly people to work with. We bought a house and definitely recommend.

We purchased a Domain Homes property about two years ago, and while the house is livable, we feel that the company definitely takes the cheap way out on a lot of things:

1. Our house didn't have a doorbell installed.
2. Our garage didn't have an opener installed.
3. No racks for towels or toilet papers installed.
4. Missing pieces of tiles and recurring cracks.
5. Mismatched bathroom faucet, general poor quality (we had to have Domain Homes come out and replace faucet handle twice within one year)
6. General obvious signs of rush jobs. We found corners that aren't aligned properly, found tiles that were not leveled or straight up missing, etc. It just really gives off the vibe that there is no care put into the construction of the house.

New homes do come with 1-year warranty, but in our experience, there were so many things that needed additional attention that the warranty was simply not enough. And even when the warranty covered a certain fix, Domain Homes had this habit of just directing you to the subcontractors to handle things. It was almost as if, once the paperwork was signed, that Domain Homes couldn't be bothered to engage us.

All in all, I would recommend potential buyers to do some serious research into Domain Homes before going with them, and if you are getting a home built through them, stay on top of them for EVERYTHING. These guys are churning out houses so quickly that it feels more like quantity over quality, so you definitely don't want your new home to be "rushed."

UPDATE #1: We are now at the 2.5yr mark living in the house and we're starting to notice that we're putting in more money to fix things here and there. The biggest one to date is the poor quality of the tiles work. We have had at least four cracks on multiple tiles in multiple spots (kitchen, pantry, doorway, bathroom). We hired a handyman to come out to replace them and they were pretty surprised at the poor workmanship and the fact that the tiles hardly had enough mortar. We went around checking all the tiles and knocking on them to listen for the hollow sound, which is indicative of insufficient mortar. That hollow sound was detected all throughout the house so we're just kind of on pins and needles waiting for the these tiles to crack in the near future.

Very much enjoy my Domain Home. The team worked with me to select finishes and some custom modifications. My only complaint was their refusal to pipe for gas which I had to do for stove after the fact. Any issues were addressed promptly. Landscape and irrigation were the only areas needing improvement. Inside was top notch.

Domain Homes provided a seamless home buying process combined with a great product/home. All are true professionals (Juan, Belix and Josh). This organization understands their customers needs and goes above expectations. My experience with Domain Homes was like Toni the tiger "Grrreat!

The team at Domain Homes has been awesome to work with. They pay attention to every detail and are very responsive.

It has been exactly one year living in our new construction home with Domain. We purchased the home after the build had already been permitted, but prior to the start of construction. There were a some issues and headaches that came from one specific person in the sales office but I understand that he no longer works for the Domain so I will leave that out.

If you are considering purchasing a Domain home, here are some details from our experience:

- Everything was on time, with no construction delays. The house was built in about four months starting from the initial slab pour.

- The one year warranty was exactly as advertised. There were a couple of minor things that needed to be touched up over the first year which is pretty typical of any new construction home. Anytime I submitted a warranty request it was handled very promptly with no questions asked and zero hassle.

- The construction manager Al Cobos is the person that oversees your house being built, manages the sub contractors, and is essentially your point of contact once you sign on the dotted line until it is time to close. Al is amazing. He is extremely professional, unbelievably timely, friendly, and very customer focused. Al if you're reading this, I hope Domain knows how valuable you are!

- Very happy with the quality of the home, and it was nice being able to see it during all stages of construction to verify with my own eyes.

Overall I couldn't be more satisfied.

My wife and I just wanted to reach out to share how thankful we are for the amazing job Domain Homes did on our house. We lived in Illinois when we signed the contract on our home. A year before we signed the contract, we visited the Tampa area and as soon as we spoke with the New Home Specialist, Jason, we knew we'd be living in a Domain Home.

The low-voltage contractors also did a fantastic job of setting us up with great sound and security.

Brad Langford -- was great to us every step of the way. He addressed every single one of our concerns along the build and took plenty of time to make sure we knew our house inside and out. He's easy to talk to, super nice, professional, and helped make sure our home was perfect while we were all the way in Illinois. Then, when we moved to Florida a few months before completion, he tolerated our constant emails and calls. We can't say enough about him. He's still taking care of us now, even after we've moved in.
