My favourite place. It's a must visit. Tasty food and wonderful and friendly staff
Nice Italian food. Cozy place and nice people welcoming you.
Nice coffee and sweets kind small though and crowded
I went to lunch. The dish (Rigattoni a la Norma) was correctly prepared and the service in the restaurant was - equally - correct. However, upon entering (it was 11.30) I asked if it was already open - implying that my question was for lunch. The attendants were extremely rude saying it was obvious that it was open, if not, how could you have asked ...
I love their Cannoli and they have really nice coffee over there. Nice and very friendly owners Fabio and his wife. Coming back for more shortly!
Was lovely place, with nice coffee, paninis and staff
Best espresso in Dublin. The cakes are amazing, very good the sandwiches. Honest prices. The staff is nice and friendly. Best Italian place in town so far. Definitely a place to try.
Chic cafe with great selection of pastries. Looks just like an italian cafe. Also open for takeaway during lockdown which puts a smile on my face :)
Tasty desserts, kind staff. However, pasta was cold when it arrived and not very impressive. Nobody brought water to the table, we asked and again nobody brought it. We had go look for staff to ask them again for water - not very professional. Salt shaker out of salt. I d love to have a better review as I love Sicily and Sicilian food, but the place definitely needs more effort put in.
I am sicilian and trust me if I say that the cannolo with ricotta is just amazing....even though I cannot live without them cake Nutella and coconut... Thanks for exist in Dublin. Just a bit disappointed with the place, you need a bigger space for all your customer !
Best place for a slice of cake in the city. Truly taste as prepared by Italian Mamma
I went to breakfast the other day. I sat at the table outside, placed in an area however dedicated and divided with barriers from the rest of the street. Unfortunately I forgot the backpack when I left. This morning I go to them to ask and I am told "a violet backpack?". Glad I answer yes but then I hear myself say "ah yes I saw that there was an abandoned backpack, but then someone must have taken it". I'm speechless.
and good quality food. With real products made in Sicily. Pleasant and beautiful location. fast and courteous service. Moderate prices considering that everything you eat is imported.
Precious pastry that recalls the best Italian pastry.
What to say? Thank you!
Highly recommended.
We had a lovely lunch at Dolce Sicily.
The meal was delicious and well presented, our desserts were delicious as well.
We really appreciate it and recommend it.
Cute cafe. Lovely staff. Lovely soup and incredible pastries.
The best Italian desserts in town!! Their cannoli are a must
Bit cramped, but excellent food and delicious cakes. (Try the nutella and coconut cake, you won't regret it!)
Dolce Sicily is a lovely, but small restaurant. There are not a lot space between tables, which can give you a crowded feeling. The food was delicious. I enjoyed my lasagna and chai latte. My partner's meal was not too good though. The spaghetti carbonara was too cheesy. That's all you tasted, the cheese. His starter and main meal came at the same time. We did not appreciate this. The menu also states that you cannot split bills during very busy periods. This is a bummer for groups I believe. I did not have their desserts at this time, but look forward to having it at some point as a colleague recommended it.
The beauty of finding a piece of Italy, but with the prices we are not right
Nice, bright environment with a limited variety of dishes.
I absolutely love Sweet Sicily. They have the BEST cannoli in town, gorgeous fresh panini and a welcoming, genuine and authentic Italian atmosphere that just can't be matched anywhere else in Dublin. Depending on the time of day, the place can be really busy so you should probably avoid it if you're in any kind of a rush.
Such tasty cakes and wonderful service!! Authentically Italian too
It's a small place so seating can be tight but the food is great!
Friendly staff, delicious food and desserts. Great atmosphere, relaxing background music, best carbonara ever.
Such a wonderful place and delicious cakes! Seems small from the outside but there are loads of seats upstairs. I recommend coming in the morning/evening as it is less crowded.
Fancy Italian restaurant, it seemed it would be rather expensive but it's actually affordable! The staff is Italian and a lot of clients are Italians themselves, it tells a lot about the quality of the food and indeed, it was the most amazing gnocchi I have ever tried! I strongly recommend it!
Used to love this place cause of the good quality desserts and coffee.
They've changed after moving to the new location. They did not let me in because I didn't want to order dinner which I found really rude as this place was born as a coffee shop. I will not be coming back.
Lovely Italian - Sicialian - cafe in Anne St. Has simplified its menu since covid started but has taken extra tables across the street and accommodates clients with good social distance. Lunch menu (during week) some simple very well cooked pasta dishes and also tasty panini. And cakes on ground floor as tempting as ever. Staff friendly and professional- a very pleasant place to visit
I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. The food and wine were delicious, but the staff were what really made it - they were absolutely second to none. Never in my life have I met restaurant staff who were so helpful and lovely! I would go back without hesistation.
Went for brunch and wanted everything that was on everyone else table.
A delicious chocolate the only thing missing are the "churros"
Gorgeous breakfast, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and different things.
This restaurant is very nice and cosy. It has wonderful and amazingly presented food. There is a big variety of pastries and cakes that look and are delicious! This restaurant is in a good location and has a nice atmosphere. The Dawson Street Luas stop is just 2 minutes away. Great place, good food.
DolceSicily is the best patisserie you can find in Dublin. Their cakes are prepared with fresh ingredients according to the highest standard and the variety offered is amazing.
This is the second time I ordered a birthday cake for my son and in both cases I was really pleased with them. Everybody loved the cake!
Excellent food, excellent service , good value, lovely venue. Definitely return
Pasta alla norma served with feta cheese instead of parmigiana? Have you run out of supplies? Space is so optimised up-stairs that i ve bang my head on the lamp twice and almost blow the glasses on my neighbours table. Cannollo first time I ve tried as they looked nice ... but tasted cheap.
The top of the top for real Sicilian cannoli and many others regional sweet pastry. Further, they make a terrific coffee and delicious panini. Different taste.
Cosy and authentic Italian!
Amazing sandwiches, coffee and deserts .. everything is just made really nicely.
My favorite Sunday brunch or lunch!
Lovely place, tasty desserts. The desserts list is quite long, one could come back several times before to try all of them. They make also sandwiches but we didn't try those.
A lovely place with authentic Italian desserts and sandwiches. It's my favorite place in Dublin! Cozy atmosphere and the employees are very kind and helpful. Andrea gives us great recommendations each time we eat there and makes us feel like we are actually in Italy. The desserts are amazing!
I preferred the old place (more charming, now it is a bit fancy) but anyway is still my favourite place to eat deserts in Dublin.
Good and simple environment, good food, but not fantastic, just good.
Got lost and found this cute cafe. Reasonably priced, quirky with lots of character and I loved the hot chocolate!
Panini with mozarella was good but what you real come here for is tiramisu (we had the pistachio one). Heavenly tasty!
Too crowded, we needed to wait like 40 minutes to get a table and we ended up leaving. Very small, but looked really nice. The pastry looked gorgeous
So for the little anecdote, I went today to this little restaurant to eat with friends and when paying we discover with "wonder" that the server added us 9.50 on the bill.
To summarize the prices:
A panini at 7
A wide slat at 3
A lasagna at 10
A large soup at 5.50
Where did the last two awards we took come from? In short if you don't want to be tricked, pay attention to the ticket :)
NB: the photo of my ticket is normally posted :)
So for the little story, my friends and I went to this restaurant in order to eat our lunch and we discovered the waiter added by himself two meals that we never ordered.
In order to explain what we truly ordered:
A panini 7
Large slat 3
Lasagna 10
Large soup 5.5
So where did the 9.50 of extra come from? I advise you to be careful on the final bill :)
Note: my bill is the one I posted as a picture
If you want to eat well in Ireland, Italian dishes, you have to go through here. Friendly staff, simple dishes but with quality ingredients. Also a fish proposal that is a rarity in Ireland because it is considered a poor dish.
Beautiful place, friendly atmosphere
The food is great and the coffee and pastries are delicious
Quick and good service. Nice cannoli. Slightly overpriced.
Amazing food and delivery, was stressed out about exams and they sent me a carrot cake with the order and a thank you note! Absolutely made my day!! And the cake was out of this world!
This is so far my favourite cafe in the city. Their pies, tarts and cakes are fantastic and the nutella and coconut is the best! The staff is friendly and the place is comfortable.
Absolutely stunning food and the nicest staff. The broken Canolo for dessert is just one of the reasons I will be back here again and again
The food in this place is just amazing. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I definitely recommend a visit.
The cakes are to die for and the staff are super friendly!
Authentic Italian food, barista crafted specialities and an impossible selection of desserts - this was probably the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted.
Such friendly staff and lovely coffee for a great price. Favourite coffee shop in the city!
Most delicious cannoli in Dublin. The coffee and sandwiches are also good, but I go there for the desserts!
Absolutely delicious desserts and great coffe. Cheerful friendly service, feels like being in Italy.
Good place with great selection of desserts and tasty coffee. Great central location.
Sometimes it takes a very long time to wait for a waiter for making an order or asking a bill so just 4 stars.
Sweet Sicily is a very nice sicilian bar, I can tell because I am from Sicily! They offer a quite wide range of sicilian and italian desserts and hot and cold drinks. It is perfect for an afternoon with friends. The only bad part is that it is small and sometimes you might have to wait before being sitted.
An adorable little place located below ground just steps from Saint Anne's. Super friendly service. Definitely try the orange almond loaf with a hot chocolate.
Very good coffee and cakes are dead. Very nice place and very friendly and helpful staff.
Great Sicilian cakes. Decent coffee, teas, fizzy lemonade. They have menus for food, too. Opened till late now. Plenty of seating in basement and on the first and ground floors. Belissima. The only recent advise I would have (recently) is to brush Up skills Of waitressing staff. Coz I didn't find it to be very pleasant on last few occasions.
Food here is seriously delicious, can't recommend this place enough. The staff are very inviting and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Definitely not one to miss.
