Be prepared to wait longer than in a restaurant for coffees and cakes if you go in the weekend. Probably the most unfriendly staff in Dublin. 2 Stars because cakes and coffees are actully really good but everything else is a huge no. (also to mention that you ll spend nearly 10 euro for a cake and a tea - yes they have increased their prices when they moved)

Good place. Friendly staff, music not too loud.

Prices are acceptable too.
Its a very special restaurant. It is an 1 section apartmentblok they have made into restaurant.
Very different and well made.

The quality of their pastries and cakes is exceptional. Genuinely my only issue is that there are so many options on the menu that I'm worried I'll die before I've tried them all (dramatic? no.). The cafe is spread over a series of small rooms on different floors of a Georgian building so you always feel like you're in a new ridiculously cute living room. The service is friendly, maybe slightly slow when it's busy but that's understandable.

The food was really delicious and the portion size generous. Would highly recommend the chicken avocado salad. The meat was nice crisp and juicy and the salad dressing so flavorful. We also liked the Italian hot chocolate, which had just the right consistency and not overly sweet. The prices are also very reasonable and the interiors warm and cozy. The staff was friendly as well.

Good place to have coffee for those who appreciate these pleasures. The attention, endearing. The place, very cozy and flirtatious. I have a nice memory of how long I've been there.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times and each visit was superb. Food is quality and service is excellent. Last visit was for Christmas lunch for circa 30 work colleagues, on my recommendation! No complaints. Set lunch menu with enough choice and all presented to very high standard. No hesitation in recommending.

We didn't actually have a meal at this quaint place, however we enjoyed a delicious coffee and a fantastic pistachio cake recommended by the server. Was difficult to find a coffee shop open passed 8:30pm in Dublin, Dolce Sicily was charming, friendly and had fantastic coffee and was open later!!

Food is extremely good here, despite growing in size the food quality remained the same, they have a few issues with the service but hopefully will be sorted over time. Price are about right considering the quality and the location

A little piece of heaven located on Dawson Street in Dublin. Dolce Sicily is located between in a basement opposite the church beside the mansion house and offers a fabulous selection of coffees and cakes in true Italian Style. If you are looking for a spot away from the crowd to chill and relax this is the spot. The staff are great and very attentive and prices are very reasonable considering some of the so called "in spots" in the area. We will definitely be back for more

My boyfriend and I used to love going to sweet Sicily when it was still on Dawson Street. We went to the new restaurant on Anne street and we were truly disappointed : I had the chicken and avocado salad and he had the gnocchi. There were less than 20 gnocchi in the plate. We left and we were very hungry.
The new place looks very nice and the quality is OK.

The best hot chocolate in Dublin. It is very thick, kindof like a puding. I get that every time i am there but i also must say that the cakes are outstanding too. In most cafes in Dublin they just look appetizing but but don't have any flavours. Not in here. Cakes here taste as good as they look.

Honestly love the food but appalling service almost everytime I go, one of the waiters is really rude and you'll be waiting ages to order until you call on someone yourself. Tis a shame

Going to Dolce Sicily is always a nice treat. Went for a dinner of 4 this time, and again overdid it with ordering, it's impossible to not get the burrata, and then the italian sausage tagliatelle, and then how can one not get desert?! Went for hazelnut Veli this time to try something new, and thought I died and went to heaven. Before all that, they treated us to the freshest warmest fluffiest ciabatta which could be a meal in itself and that should have warned me to keep my order down a notch...No regrets though.

Deserves full marks. Family run place, everything is made there, lovely staff. It really doesn't miss a trick. Had a lovely talk with one of the ?owners, his wife makes the desserts. Absolutely stunning dark chocolate raspberry tart, perfectly balanced flavours. The special yesterday was Ricotta Spinach Ravioli which were to die for. It's a wonderful spot even when eating outside in the rain.

The place is very cozy and on the basement. It looks like a house and it made me feel very comfortable. The food was very very good, an amazing taste. They have breakfast, brunch, dinner, desserts and much more. The staffs were very polite and friendly. The price is also accessible. The only problem that I had was to find the place, if you don t pay attention you won t find it.

Went to Dolce Sicily for dinner last night. The menu is fantastic. Everything is fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced, especially given the location. I ve had much lower quality Italian food for a lot more money in far less central parts of Dublin. The staff couldn t have been more accommodating. Highly recommend

It's moved round the corner to a really swish multifloor property and whilst the food and drink are the same the surroundings are very attractive. A big step forward for the little business of Scicilian cakes, parties and flans.

Arrived 30mins before the close and asked for a dessert. They didn t let us sit and we said ok let s get takeaways. Then they said they have nothing to serve. Disappointed to see my favorite desert place becoming reluctant to serve.
