I was living in a loft in downtown Lowell when I decided I wanted to sell and move out of the city. I had never sold a property before so I did my research and went with Doherty Properties, that was the best decision I could have made! Chris came to my condo we decided on a price, he had professional pictures taken and I had a FULL price offer the day it hit the market October 2016, this whole process was about a week!!! the process was so smooth and Chris and his team helped me along the way, they were always accessible and answered any questions I had as well as gave some excellent insight on the market and what to expect. Closing was easy and I was so impressed with Chris and his team that I had them help me find my new townhome! Once again Chris was amazing to work with, and had great client contacts for me, such as lawyers, general contractors and lenders. I am happy to say I found my "home sweet home" and couldn't be happier! Thank you Doherty properties, your knowledge, expertise and customer service is extraordinary! I have had great experiences with Doherty Properties for many years now. Chris was my agent and he goes above and beyond for any request to make moving into a new home easier. He is very knowledgeable on various properties, their value, surroundings and even the native neighbors (as he knows so many people). Chris has been well established in my area for so many years that I can trust in any recommendations and or resources he provides during the real estate process. Agreed to meet with me on a Saturday morning at 10. When arriving at the office no one was there.

I contacted Doherty Properties three times regarding leasing a loft. They responded with an automatic email each time, but the 3rd time I got an email from an actual person and a phone call! I responded to the email but have not heard anything since. I recommend contacting the leasing companies of the loft directly. Clearly this company is unable and unwilling to provide any assistance.

Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Whenever my wife and I had many tough questions buying our first home Chris was available early morning and even at 10 at night to re assure us that we were making the right choice to purchase our home in Carlisle.

Finding a reasonable rental that feels like home is hard; especially in the current market. I have gotten the run around too many times, which is why I was thrilled to work with realtor Bradford Brady of Doherty Properties. I thought the process would be professional. I couldn t be more wrong. It took over a week to receive an application for a unit I love, which should have been my first indication. After paying for my background check I waited...and waited...and am still waiting over three weeks later to hear if I have been approved to move in mid-October. Today is October 1st. Numerous times I have followed up with Bradford and was told he will call me within specific periods of time and it never happens. If he handles a simple rental so carelessly and impersonally I don t want to think about what the process of buying a home through him would be like. To be fair, I have only worked with Bradford. Then again, no one is ever available to answer my calls at Doherty Properties. The calls always go to an answering machine and remain unanswered. I suggest you remain cautious of providing this company with any of your personal and financial information. They could be a scam.

Working with this place is much less intimidating than navigating this market on our own. We have a wonderful agent who is helping us find a place for us and our feline family.
