We go every year. They always do a amazing job. We absolutely love the pre show. And the main show always makes us laugh. They have a Regular show and a Christmas show. We have been married 26 years. And we will always go to this if we are in the area!!

The Stampede is exciting. They show is excellent, the competition is fun. The food is fabulous out of this world. That actually was the reason we went this trip my best friend and I were saying how much we were craving be creamy vegetable soup at the Stampede. So we made a reservation and went. Soup and biscuit a whole Cornish hen pork loin corn on the cob and a fabulous Danish turnover dessert. Eating all of that and enjoying a great show is just good ol southern hospitality.

I was so disappointed with the Dixie Stampede. The coupons in all of the tourist books only apply to the general seats and not the preferred seats. I was perfectly willing to pay for preferred seats but wanted to use the coupon, so I wound up sitting in the general seats and they lost out on about $20. The pre-show in the "saloon" is easily the best part of the night with great bluegrass music from world class musicians. The actual show is not at all what I thought it would be. Most of the acts involve audience members in weird competitions to win a medal for their side. I thought I was paying over $50/person to see a fun equestrian show with trick riders and maybe a little bit of Civil War history but instead I got to see children chase chickens over a finish line and audience members play horseshoes. There is a character in the show that I guess is supposed to provide some comic relief but instead tells terrible jokes and is just, simply, annoying. The food, though, was not all that bad. The vegetable soup and biscuit are the best part and the chicken, while a little dry, was at least seasoned well. The kicker, and maybe the most incredible part of the night, is that they do not provide silverware! The biscuit is your "spoon" for the soup and you're left to de-bone an entire rotisserie chicken just with your fingers. It's incredibly awkward and hard to watch the show while trying to eat a meal with no utensils.

For the money, this show is definitely not worth it. There is way too much food (that you really can't eat) and the entertainment is something that you can find at a county fair or local picnic. Dolly guarantees this is the most fun place to have dinner, so can I please get my money back?

At first, I thought it seemed kind of expensive. After we went, it is worth the money! You get a pre-show, which is great bluegrass music! I recommend eating a snack before going to save a few bucks during the pre-show. They have you get there an hour and 15 minutes early. But you get to see the pre-show and buy snacks and drinks during that. Then they have you move into the show area. The food was great! My waitress was amazing! You are supposed to tip the servers after the show, which makes sense. They work hard keeping your drinks full and serving your food. The show was so awesome! I love horses and the show is full of them. I will go back again for sure. It is really great for families with kids. It is great for couples too. We paid a little more to sit in the front row and it was worth it to me. The only downside to the show is leaving. It takes awhile because they only have one exit. They want everyone to exit through the gift shop and it takes a long time to get everyone through that one way. I love how they had the American Flag and represented the country. It was also cool because they had Native Americans and Bison, along with Cowboys and Longhorns. It is an exciting show and we loved it!

Really cool experience. The show itself was kind of neat and it was Christmas-themed. I wish they would have had more of a riding competition like they did the last time I was there. The tickets are really expensive if you get them at the door or online. Do yourself a favor while you are in Gatlinburg and go to a 2 hour timeshare presentation in the morning and usually they will let you pick two things that you want to do in Gatlinburg and give you a really steep discount on them. The timeshare presentation is what it is but it's worth saving almost $400 onto attractions for the family like we did.

I have to say they definitely feed you like a king while you are there. We had Cornish hen with a Big Slice of potato and a slice of pork was pretty big in terms of thickness. They have you sitting in rows and usually there is about eight people per waitress or waiter. They wait on you hand and foot which is kind of nice as you never have to ask for refills. Dessert was a glazed croissant with cherry filling. The show itself last about 2 hours and you do eat while watching the show. They do things like divide the north side in the south side of the stadium and that is what the competitions are based on and who wins such as north 4 South Side. Which does scene a little odd but it is a country show. All in all it is in good fun for the family. Just make sure to bring your appetite with you.

We thoroughly enjoyed the show & dinner. Greg, our waiter, did a superb job! What a fun night with some very talented equestrians! We also enjoyed the pre-show with three very gifted musicians! Well worth the money.

Inviting an active shooter situation by not allowing personnel, including active military to carry concealed weapons on the premises...

Packed like sardines in a tiny room... I've only seen one fat armed guard, everyone else is in "security" polos with a fake badge on it... pathetic, soo unsafe

Wonderful, fun place. The performance both down stairs and upstairs were joyful and splendid. Every act was unique, colorful, humourous and informative. Loved the dining experience. If you are vegetarian order it before hand online so that they arrange separate chef and menu for you.

Food was great, the main show was great, I could have missed the main show and just watched the pre show singers the whole time and been happy. Guard your billfold though, like any other tourist attraction they will nickle and dime you to death...But, the experience is well worth the cost.

There is a lot to see and many entertainment options on this street. At first, I was a bit slain by the variety, typically American. In autumn, everything is beautifully decorated with pumpkins

We attended this show last night. I don t know where to begin so I will start with how the ratings are 4.9 is questionable. This show itself was OK, not great but OK. Now the negativity, the seating is horrible, do not spend your money upgrading to preferred seating because the least expensive seats are the easiest to access and viewing of the show is no different than preferred. The food was served 1 item at a time, soup - NO spoons, chicken, 5 minutes later half a potato, 5 minutes later a piece of pork, no knives. Never seen this type of service in my life. It constant servers running up and down the small path throwing food on your plate. I Love Dolly Pardon but this entire operation needs to be reviewed and updated.

This was a fabulous show that was so worth the money paid. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your experience is a good one. The pre show was amazing, too. The dinner itself was very good and enough food that I wasn t able to finish it all. I would highly recommend this.

Great family entertainment! What else would you expect from Dolly! Pre show with members of her band was great. Mixed country bluegrass, pop and Rock with a three piece band, guitar, banjo and standup bass. Non-alcoholic beverages only but that's ok. Food was great, we got lucky and had front row tickets. If to stay at Dollwood hotel use the concierge they assisted us completely. Oh the SOUP! Delicious!

We were on vacation and not sure which show to go to. We chose this one and was not disappointed. There was a preshow of comedy and music that should not be missed. During the preshow you can get the kids faces painted. It was rather expensive in my opinion ($21) but my daughter loved it. They try to sell you souvenir cups before entering but they are only 50 cents cheaper. So, I would wait since there are other souvenir cups at the preshow. In fact, you can only purchase beverages in souvenir cups unless you want to wait until the main meal. The food was good and hot but be prepared to eat everything with your hands. I had to remind my daughter to keep eating because everything is on a schedule. The show was fantastic and definitely something that I would recommend to anyone who is on the fence.

Hearing protection is a must. The pre show is WAY TOO LOUD. It is past the point of causing hearing damage. I have suffered from hearing damage and it was even to loud fo me with my hearing loss. I can only imagine how bad it would be for anyone with noise sensitivity.

Buying the tickets over the phone was easy, the food was plentiful/decent, and the show, itself, was good. However, parking was a nightmare and there was no direction on where to go once you arrived at the building. It was like the blind leading the blind. It's a huge building and not very easy to tell where you need to go once you've walked up to the building. They need better signage and employees letting everyone know where to go. There's no explanation whatsoever of where you need to go or why or what would be happening. The whole experience made me feel like we were cattle being rustled up. We were in a crowd just being pushed from one room to the next. Would have been better if we had some direction and knowledge of what was going on. Even though the show was good, I'm giving it two stars because of the overall experience I had and how it made me feel.
