Really cool experience. The show itself was kind of neat and it was Christmas-themed. I wish they would have had more of a riding competition like they did the last time I was there. The tickets are really expensive if you get them at the door or online. Do yourself a favor while you are in Gatlinburg and go to a 2 hour timeshare presentation in the morning and usually they will let you pick two things that you want to do in Gatlinburg and give you a really steep discount on them. The timeshare presentation is what it is but it's worth saving almost $400 onto attractions for the family like we did.
I have to say they definitely feed you like a king while you are there. We had Cornish hen with a Big Slice of potato and a slice of pork was pretty big in terms of thickness. They have you sitting in rows and usually there is about eight people per waitress or waiter. They wait on you hand and foot which is kind of nice as you never have to ask for refills. Dessert was a glazed croissant with cherry filling. The show itself last about 2 hours and you do eat while watching the show. They do things like divide the north side in the south side of the stadium and that is what the competitions are based on and who wins such as north 4 South Side. Which does scene a little odd but it is a country show. All in all it is in good fun for the family. Just make sure to bring your appetite with you.
