I tried to get help for my disable sister, who was in need of assistance for her disability. But I could never get anyone to assign her a case manager/social worker, I even called APS but they were throwing me in circles, stating that she should apply for Maryland even though all of health benefits and house is in DC, she even has a DC ID card! I currently live in Maryland but needed some assistance to help her since she is a DC resident and there was a family emergency to required her to get more assistance. These people are not very helpful for local DC residents at all and I questioned the departments policy on helping residents who are disable or a senior citizen.

You can't seem to get anyone to answer the phone. I was on hold for over an hour and had to hang up to charge my phone. The same thing happens every time I called. It's ridiculous.

On a call-wait for 40 minutes and as I was getting transferred the machine just hung up on me. They should hire consultants to redo all of their calling center, machines, etc. Horrible experience

Don't waste your time. Anything you could do would be more worthwhile than trying to get these guys to actually do any work.

Website does not work. Made like 3 accounts because I did not recieve a verification email and had to start over.

My mom and my aunt works here,I hear my mom on the phone working hard and she barley sees me because shes working 48 hours and this is not a bad job its sometimes just to much drama and the people my mom is working with is good workers like Myufe,Ersula,Kim,my aunt crystle and more

After being put on hold for over 3 hours and they hung up the phone on me. My experience with this agency is very horrible both in person and over the phone. It's full of lazy, incompetent, unprofessional and rude staffs. I wish I could rate them in -5. The mayor, the DC council or whoever is responsible need to investigate and fix this agency.

Never answer the phone so don t even try calling for information. I ve been on hold for over 50 mins every time I called . Waiting on my call to be answered .

Is anyone that works here taking their job seriously? There s no reason a person should have to wait 50-90 minutes on hold to get their inquiries answered
