The Disneyland park has expanded and re-invented itself over the years, and there is always something new to enjoy. Even the classics like Pirates of the Caribbean continue to be refreshed and updated. The crowds always seem big to me, but I admit the park has found clever ways to keep the waiting as short as possible.

First and foremost, I have been an annual pass holder for over 10 years. That says it all.
I always contribute photos and have too many to post.
Disneyland is one of those places that you have to plan. Plan everything, trust me it s easy.
Quick bullet points:
My latest go to eats- Hungry Bear, HarborGalley
I always get my Rice Krispie Mickey at Poohs Corner and my abuelita hot chocolate at Jolly Holiday!

Musts! Download the Disney App, it has everything you need like mobile ordering- I see you dole whip fans, avoid the line and order online!

My favorite shopping is world of Disney in downtown Disney- you ll see everything they have to offer in a colorful place, it recently got a make over and I adore it.

Be sure to check online for what s closed and being refurbished, entering the new year and prepping for the June 2019 opening of Star Wars land neighboring Disneyland it s now off season so it will be chill Disney days but rides will be closed.

I m going to try to review and update this as often as I can, when I feel there s something I should review!
Lastly- THE BACKSIDE OF WATER

We took a quick weekend trip and attended Oogie Boogie s Bash. While I can t say the Halloween party is worth the extra cost due to the crowd size, I did have fun and got to experience something I d never done before. Of course, I will be returning in the (hopefully) not so distant future to experience even more!

Still the happiest place on earth. Even with all the specific instructions for gaining ride passes, Galaxy's Edge and it's 2 rides really are remarkable. With unique eats in themed eateries and merch filled shops novices to Star Wars, hard core and non-fans alike will find themselves over the moon with the experience.

literally the best place on Earth. The atmosphere is so fun the kids have a blast, there's so much fun rides the people are in a great mood, and its very very clean, that's one of my favorite things about it. all the characters and people that are there really make it a fun experience for you, it's a great place for families and the most enjoyable time you'll ever have.

Last day of our annual pass today. We are strongly considering renewing. I am very happy with the number of staff able and ready to assist us and their expertise in crowd control. Kudos to the Disneyland team!

We love Disneyland!

We love Disneyland!
It's been apart of our family activities for 45 years.
It makes us happy to see that Disney strives to continue to follow the original vision of it's creator. The park is well staffed and every cast member is always polite & helpful.
We are sad to see that the price of admission has become a reason that many of our friends and family can't and won't experience "The happiest place on earth."
It has us thinking about all the other families that are missing such a wonderful world of joy and memories.
....so .... would be 5 stars if price was more affordable.

Arrived at 8:30am to very long lines going through security and entry to the park. Once in and up til around 2pm ride lines were not bad with the fast pass. After 3pm even with the fast pass you had to book 2hrs out. In addition, staff that were with Disney characters were rude not seeing the magical experience here for sure and my two daughters just couldn't understand. For the price I would not recommend this park but the experience of taking the kids to Disneyland is worth it once.

Before April this year I hadn't been to Disneyland in almost 15 years (I'm nearly 30). I bought a one day pass and after half the day there I upgraded to a deluxe year pass. It's the best thing I've ever done. I've already used it about 6 times and every time it's always do magical. On my first day we got picked to drive the Mark Twain and got our official pilots license! Such a great experience, it's always so clean hardly any bathroom lines and if you get max pass you save a ton of time in lines for rides. Yes its pricey as hell but the magic is worth it!

What can I say? It's the happiest place on earth for a reason. My inner child always feels happy when I enter those gates. Even though the prices went up, I am still renewing my pass this year. It's a must for every Disney enthusiast

Crowded and over priced I am ready to let go of my annual pass. I have app to scan my annual pass but I cant use to get discount I need my actual Disney pass card which doesn't make sense the point is not to carry my Disney pass. My kids love Disney but I feel I can spend my $ elsewhere and still have fun with them.

This trip to Disneyland was our second for 2019, so we attempted to do and see things we hadn't in a while. It was a little more crowded than normal (I think everyone was cashing in their 3 day tickets before they expire). So in total we road only the paddle boat, the ferry to Tom Sawyer's island and pirates. We enjoyed getting some steps in and taking cool pictures. We even got to see baby turtles and ducklings. It was great! The new Mickey light show and fireworks were also really cool. The evening with everything lit up was even cooler.

The kids loved every minute of Disneyland. We wish it wasn't as busy but that came from attending during our spring break. Loved the family time and enjoyed seeing all that Disneyland has to offer. Great family vacation and the Disney staff was super accomedating in every way. Would recommend this destination for every family. Great place to get away with the kiddos.

It's Disneyland. It's the happiest (most expensive, hyperactive, sensory overloaded) place on Earth. Seriously. It's not a played out statement.

With the addition of Star Wars' Galaxy Edge, the entire park just feels a bit more relevant and fresh. Speaking of Star Wars, Rise of the Resistance is worth the breakdowns, the wait, and the virtual lottery (i mean, "queue").

The old standby rides are brilliant, colorful, and fun. Make sure to do them when you get there.

Skip the food. Pack your own.

Park was amazing to see but not wait so long for each thing. 2-3 hours for a ride is more than many can handle without difficulty. Fast pass is a mistake. Come to the park go in and ride when you get there be more efficient than people hitting the park first thing and grabbing up the limited amount of fast passes and hanging around all day riding the rides over and over not having to wait while everyone else who came the rest of the day stand in line waiting for them

It was a wonderful experience, as always. Great for a fun family getaway. Just save your dollars, (you will need to), because everything in the park is expensive. Not a cheap vacation. But well worth it!!

Happiest place on earth this is the best place to visit when you're in California. You will need more than 2 days to walk and ride all the attractions in the park good food friendly staff. 0 complains it's a must visit.

Disneyland was great! The cast members and staff were super friendly and helpful. My nieces and I had a great time and I will certainly go back. One day is just not enough time to do everything the park has to offer. Prices are rather high at $154 for an adult single park one day ticket and it was crowded. Disney must be doing it right, because attendance levels are high.

The world misses you, Walt!!
And it could sure use some more people with your imagination and compassion.

This bar is one of the chillest places in the city , the drinks are very cheap, the decorations varies a lot depend where in the bar you are located. The dance floor is big , I went there one Thursday , not busy , few people , nice atmosphere.

At the end of the day, sit in the plaza BTW the two parks and enjoy the people watching. After a snack and rest you will have more energy to get to your vehicle Disney does everything as a tightly run organization. Everything spotless and amazing. Star Wars Land!! Wow!

Galaxy's edge is amazing, you need to line up early if you want to get into the cantina or the lightsaber workshop. The millennium falcon ride was fun, the line wasn't bad. Make sure to download the Disney app or you'll be waiting forever to get blue milk.

A lot of fun! Parking can be pricey but if you spend $20 or more I think , in one store, not all together , they give you 3 hours free parking total. When we went there were jazzy singers wuth a band, very beautiful harmonies, a man playing the hammer drums which looked more like a stringed piano , but the sound that came out of it was lovely!! The shops were crowded , as expected for a few days before Christmas , but the decorations were beautifully done with, of course Mickeys everywhere lol. Everyone was buzzing bye some happily singing along with the Christmas tunes while others were taking pics with their loved ones in front of all the gorgeous decorations!

Wow. Such an amazing trip. Helps that we have an in with some really fun and knowledgeable people not only giving us the best tour and info but helping to not wait in any lines and make the most of our trip. Gabby from riverbank at big thunder mountain railroad was so sweet and amazing to our family. Magical time for sure

Love it here!!! Not too overwhelmingly large. Plenty of options for all ages. A truly magical place. Star Wars is amazing and highly recommend you go check it out. You will feel like you are there! Hope to be back soon!

Disney brings the full experience. The rides are solid. The park is clean. MaxPass allows you to manage the lines. Food options are good. People are well behaved. Actors dressed like Disney characters are wonderful with the kids. It's expensive, so bring extra $ and don't stress about that part of it.

Always good it never dissapoints! Is upto the family or individuals how they want to spend their day. If you want to do rides you must get a fast pass the time you save is so worth it... plus it makes the experience so much better.

Its the happiest place on Earth, what else can I say? Its much more entertaining and expansive than traditional amusement parks, and feels much safer. You never feel afraid to explore, because you know there are extremely polite cast members to help you. (if and when you need it) The only real downside is how much everything costs.

Disneyland is an iconic theme park in southern California. It is not cheap to go hence the 4 stars. It is an amazing place and if you upgrade with the $15/ticket "maxpass" on your phone, you don't need to find fastpass stations situated around the park. Bring warm clothes for the evening as it does get cool in Anaheim most times of the year, with the exception of Summer. You can save money by bringing in your own water bottle and refill it using a filling station found throughout the park. One thing I highly recommend is to bring a backup battery for your phone. I started with 100% battery at 8am and by 7:30pm had drained my battery. There are no charging stations and a battery backup sells for$30! Overall a great place for all ages, just remember to wear good shoes!!

I've gone to Disneyland my whole life. While I love it, I'm finding that WDW seems to have a better Disney "feel". For as nice as Star Wars land is, it really isn't Disney...Cars Land is better. Grumpy staff at Blue Bayou this time put a damper on the visit as well.

I love Disney! I grew up going as a kid, and nothing better than the first time I brought my daughter when she was almost 4, to see it through your child's eyes is nothing short of amazing! I do find it to be a little over the top in pricing, it prevents so many kids from ever experiencing the "Disney Magic" I have had some of my best memories there with my daughter.

Great experience I love the cars ride me and my family come here every couple years and have a great time. When in Disneyland you have to go on the cars ride. This is a California adventure side. Great time with the family

Not gonna lie, it was magical! Everything was so clean! The attractions were amazing! Staff was great! The wait time wasn't terrible and it goes by fast with all of the stuff to look at in the line (it is useally themed). Food was on the expensive side, typical amusement park prices, but it was so dang good, definitely worth the price! The gift shops were clean and the staff were so nice, the prices were very reasonable as well. I got a sweatshirt for $45. I like the atmosphere of the original Disney park better than California Adventure Land, but California Adventure Land had better food and has the best roller coaster (the Incredicoaster) in the entire park, in my opinion. Fast pass and photo pass are defenitly worth the extra money. A good restaurant to check out there is the Lucky Fortune Cookery (my favorite) and a must have treat to get is the Dole Whip (found near the Swiss Family Robinson area). A place that you should totally check out is the museum by mainstreet USA near right where you enter the park. I feel like it is very overlooked, but so cool!

Disneyland Resort and Hotel is nice but not a 5 star in my book. The grounds are pretty but the hotel rooms are kind of small and can use some updating. The firework display and the twinkle lights are cute in the headboard. There is a seperate vanity area from the shower and toilet. Other than that pretty basic room with small TV.

Such a great trip. We are big Disney Parks fans, and being from the East coast, getting to the original park is quite a trip for us. It was everything we were expecting and MUCH more. The cast members are great, parks are always clean, and all the attractions are fun. We love going to the parks to feel like kids again.

Good place, with a lot of magic but with a lot of people and the longest lines in earth. Nice for kids. Some rides and places need to be renewed. You have to be early for the shows because you can be out. If you go on winter, bring a jacket because is really cold at night. Get your free fast pass to get attractions without lines and bring your own food to save money.

Prefer this Disney park over the Orlando one. Went on my birthday, so I got treated to a yummy, cute chocolate cupcake as a birthday present. Loved receiving First visit button and the birthday button.

Disneyland was really fun, even with an 18 month old and 3 year old a few inches short of a number of rides. We barely waited in lines and did not get to all the kid stuff. Do not buy a one day hopper, it's a total waste because you wont get to everything. The new star wars area looks really cool. But there is only one ride, with really.long line throughout the day, and a ton of really pricey nearly pointless star wars souvenirs. Also, the staff is extremely pushy before and during the firework show.

Star Wars Galaxy's Edge was amazing!. Savi's workshop experience was fun, but pricy! Make reservations before you go, at least a week out. Didn't get to ride Rise of the Resistance because of the dumb queue system. All boardings groups were full for the entire day within 15 minutes of the park being open.

It's one of the happiest places on Earth. Pacific Whale Cafe is a great place to eat. We love salad in a bread bowl. I get the Chinese chicken salad, she gets the chicken, Apple Walnut salad. About 12 bucks each. Used mobile ordering via the Disney app and skip the line.
My favorite ride is Incredicoaster closely followed by guardians of the Galaxy. Use a fast pass on busy days to get a big jump ahead of others in the standby line. The Disney app will help you find the wait times for each ride. It's accurate. They've been doing this for as long time.

So much fun, got here at 12pm and left at 10pm , star Wars world is so freaking awesome, last time I was here with my dad we did not get to do much cuz of the fire that happened but we got to make up for it today, did a LOT of shopping too lol, so much fun can't wait to come back again sometime with both my parents again

I'd like to give Disneyland five stars, but let's face it, you practically have to be a millionaire to take a family of four there. It cost my family over $700 for three days. Food is outrageously expensive and in most cases only mediocre in quality. We ate at Pizza Planet one night. The food there was average. Rise of the Resistance was awesome. Building your own droid was fun but not cheap. Always enjoy the Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the train and the monorail, but wait times can be rather long.

A very grand and awesome experience. I like this park very much. The rides, shows, architectures are very good.
Although most of attractions are children based, it is suitable for people of all ages and if you are coming in groups, you will get treat for life. If you are accompanied by children, then they will enjoy very much.
The most liked attractions for me are Matternhorn Bobsleds, Indiana Jones Adventure, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad etc.
One day is not enough to get complete experience of Disneyland. You have to skip some attractions to cover most of main rides.
You have to visit once in lifetime.

My wife and I like to go in October, Halloween is our favorite. But it s a busy time of year to go. I m not sure there isn t a busy time since I don t live in California. Even the weekdays are busy. Just go and have fun, pay extra for Max pass and get fast passes right from your phone, without having to walk all the over to the attraction just to get a fast pass that isn t good for another hour or two. The new Disneyland app is pretty awesome.

So much fun! It was hell of an experience. Took so many pictures. Taking great memories with me. Meeting the Disney characters is always a dream and this just makes it feel all so really. Disney parks are always the best. And so clean and well maintained. Hoping to visit soon again. Great time. Huge fun. Mesmerizing memories of this Place. Will never forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always a delight! Cinderella's Castle was under construction, but definitely didn't take away any magic. Fantasmic and World of Color were awesome. Definitely grab Fast Passes for Cars before they sell out close to 11 am! Our fastpass wait was 6 minutes while the line was 80 minutes!

Also, Blue Bayou was wonderful as usual. Highly recommend the Surf and Turf as the lobster is to die for. Definitely need to make reservations weeks if not months in advance for a riverside table. Well worth it too!

Great place fo kids. Clean , organised. Has plenty of food choices for non veg. Vegan and veg options in food limited. The shops make you go mad all the Disney merchandise. The parade is the highlight. Afternoon and evening both are worth watching

Rise of Resistance: Be ready! This ride only by reservation. You need to have a Disney app to be able to reserve your spot. Link your ticket to the app and at exact time the park open up join a group to secure your spot. You need to be in the Main Street to do it

It really is a magical place. So much to see and do. But unfortunately, so little time to truly enjoy it all because of how crowded it gets. Highly recommend the purchase of MaxPass with your admission to maximize your visit. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is literally out of this world.

This is one hell of a place! Awesome..

This is one hell of a place! Awesome..
With a one day pass, you can only visit either theme park or Adventureland. But in one day, you can only complete a half of either of the places..
Take MaxPass, if your pocket allows, as this was very helpful for us to skip queues in many rides..but, there's a catch..MaxPass is not available in all rides.. Look at the site or the official app..
MUST WATCH- Fireworks at 9:35 pm at the Main Street.
Cons- Poor WiFi coverage in the park!! I find this one a little problematic, as their app needs internet. And travelers from outside the country might find it difficult.
Altogether, it's a very good place and a must see in Anaheim

An amusement parks and resort, Disneyland Resort, ...

An amusement parks and resort, Disneyland Resort, otherwise known as Disneyland is owned byThe Walt Disney Company located in Anaheim, California. A huge entertainment resort which has two theme parks namely Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, it also boasts of three hotels, shopping and dining area plus the entertainment complex itself known as Downtown Disney. Found and developed by the famous Walt Disney in the 1950's and opened to guests in July 17 of 1955 .To encompass the HUGE expansion later of the entire complex ,they named it Disneyland Resort and the original theme park was named Disneyland Park.To date, with so much entertainment places around the world, Disneyland is a dream destination of almost everyone young and old alike. A day is not enough to explore so its a suggestion here to book in nearby hotels if not its own hotel to be able to explore more. Disneyland is very organized and maintained extensively by the owners. It is clean and safe to roam around and everyone that comes is guaranteed full fun and adventure. It is good to go to as a family or with group of friends. Try to find sale tickets if you can for it is not cheap, though its all worth it in the end.Magical indeed!

Everything was so nice... until Chewbacca don't let people take pictures whit him.. that was not nice.. He and his team should be a little nice whit the public. I love Disneyland , but I think this is the last time I take my family there.

It's such a great place. The amount of detail and effort they put into their rides and performances is astonishing. Came when I was 10 and loved it. Came again at 22 and was not disappointed. My wife's favorite place to visit!

Happiest place on earth lived up to its expectations, great rides, good photo locations, and friendly staff. Go early on the weekends because it gets busy and I recommend three fast pass with max, definitely worth it if you are there for a short trip. It's chilly in February, bring a jacket in there afternoon and evening!

Like they say, "Disneyland Is the happiest place on earth." Do true. The parades and shows are out of this world. There are wide variety of rides for all ages for the family to enjoy. The desserts are gorgeous! Overall Disney is the best place for a family vacation!

Disney Land... Not much to say that hasn't been said before... Super expensive (seriously 25$just got parking?), massive lines everywhere, people everywhere, kids everywhere, music everywhere, etc etc etc but it's Disneyland! Definitely invest in the fast pass and if you plan it right you can ride 10/15 different tires in a single day without too much queuing. The mobile app is great but I wish you could book multiple fast passes simultaneously

A must see for every child 8 and under. After that, California Adventure. So much of Disney is visual, from parades, characters, plays, lights to virtual reality. Ride the rides during the day, go back to hotel to recharge from 2-5pm and then come back to catch the amazing nightlife.

We love Disneyland! We had a great experience this time around. We used the max pass and rode every ride we wanted to. I love that includes pictures too. There are plenty of options for every age, delicious food and treats and great customer service. We will visit again, and again!
