This was my kids first trip to Disneyland and they absolutely loved everything. We started our day out at plaza inn for a character breakfast well worth it since every character in the park was moved along to quickly to get autographs and pictures. We went on a few rides and did Nikon photo stops I highly recommend the Maxpass it allowed us to get photos and fast passes through the Disneyland app. We had lunch at alien pizza planet and a dole float and soft serve it was delicious if you like pineapple. Also fast passes are highly recommend wait times can exceed an hour. The only drawback is you can only plan one fast pass time at a time so it is difficult to schedule your day.would love to see a feature added to the app to fast pass your day so that you don't have to use your app excessively in the park unless needed. Took my daughter to bibbidi bobbidi boutique it was an absolutely amazing experience that had her feeling like a princess. Make sure to call and reserve your spot. It cost us 230 dollars but it was worth it. She got her hair nails makeup done got to pick out her own princess dress her own hairstyle got her own fairy godmother to do her hair nails and makeup and even got a photoshoot at the end and a VIP experience to meet the other Disney princesses. She got to also keep the makeup palette nail polish hair brush the dress the jewels the hair pieces and the princess accessories along with the keepsake invitations. With the photo shoot we got the digital copies because of the maxpass as well as regular coffee to take with us and everything came with a bibbidi bobbidi boutique bagThe experience comes with either a bibbidi bobbidi boutique sash or a birthday sash.we look forward to going back to Disney for another fun and rewarding experience.

First time visiting Disneyland and it was a dream come true. Definitely need at least 2 full days to visit both parks. Kids and I met Donald Duck, Sully, Tinker Bell and Aurora, who were so uncannily in character, it was fun. The attention to detail is astonishing and the FastPass is awesome for being on rides. The fireworks display is stunning but you need to find a seat at least 1 hour before it begins. I recommend starting with Disneyland Park first, then move onto California Adventure.

Perfectly magical! The cast members are so nice and make it a wonderful experience. Use of the fast passes is essential during busy times (the holidays). We make a schedule of rides every time we go and arrive early. We got on almost every ride we wanted to during the busiest times and saw the shows-which are fantastic! Make a schedule before you arrive, and the day will be magical! Most bags and backpacks can be taken on rides. There is a great first aid center. The food selection keeps getting better, and they have started offering vegan options. It is very expensive to go (tickets, food, souvenirs), but definitely worth it! I love the characters as well. They treat everyone the same, no matter your age. It is a wonderfully happy place with such a variety of rides and themes that bring back great childhood memories. A must for the bucket list.

Love coming to Disney over the holidays! The new Star Wars addition isn t fantastic and I can t wait for the rest of the rides to be up and running in the park! Even on the rainy day we had at the park, it was still enjoyable and lots of fun!

Big let down. Frankly I wouldn't bother unless you have small children. It's the original park from the the late 50's and it shows. I've since been assured the Florida parks are far superior.

Is a very nice place, I give one star because in some rides my little girl did not reach the height by very little and it should not be a problem, but if you see that there were kids smaller than her going in to the ride then you know somenthing is not right. Other than that everything is good.

I had an amazing time. It will be hard to beat. Disneyland definately lived up to expectations and then some. It was unfortunate that when we went that it was undergoing renovations and construction. But that did not take away from the experience too much. I would definately visit again to create even more memories. We were there on a 5 day pass & max pass and still did not get to ride everything.

My wife and I enjoyed visiting Disneyland for the first time. We had some great experiences and made some wonderful memories.

Room for improvement:
1. Parking garages are badly needed. Parking and traffic flow needs significant improvement.
2. The stroller situation was out of control. There is not nearly as much path width at Disneyland as there is at Disney World.
I had my feet run over no fewer than 5 times. This feeling of crowding was uncomfortable.
3. The Ice Cream situation was disappointing. The three Frozen ice creams and frozen foods we purchased were rock hard. My Mickey ice cream broke into 3 pieces and fell to the ground when I tried to consume it. If I was three this would have brought my world to an end. Because I am nearly 30 I was able to simply wish that the situation could be improved.
4. The castle was covered up by scaffolding and a printed tarp. The tarp had a printed image of the castle. The tarp was not secured and folded over and looked really sad. Then the fireworks show was cancelled due to winds. Generally the castle experience, show, and fireworks are magical. This situation left much to be desired.

Ok, so Disneyland is a happy place, no doubt. However, they're getting left behind. Lines are long, rides outdated, and it's crazy expensive.

Good: the parade, shows and characters are the true experience.

Bad: rides break down. Crowded! Over rated.

My daughter, 7 years old, loved meeting characters, exchanging pins, and was mesmerized by the parade. The teacups ride broke down when we finally got on. The Peter pan ride broke down after 20 minutes waiting in line. Food is underwhelming.

I would recommend Universal Studios instead. Better rides, less crowded and has cool characters as well.

I m a grown adult that thought I wasn t missing out on anything special and I was unwilling to spend $150 on a ticket to a kids resort.
But then I took my 4 yr old twins and I was so astonished with the attention to details. Yes the rides are for kids. But any adult could appreciate the creativity and have a good time on them (it kind of unleashes your inner child). And EVERY SINGLE employee was nice and cordial. The park is clean and organized.

Magical Place. Be prepared to have your backpacks and other bags checked and going through metal detectors like TSA checkpoints at an airport. This is for all our protection so we can have an enjoyable time. Only issue some of Mickey s Security folks need to learn the laws surrounding Service Dogs. I should not have to detail or air my medical and mental health. My Service Dog has a service dog collar and Certified ID Card. It was embarrassing and humiliating to me and those around me to have to be asked more details other than for medical issues.
Myself my brother and my father all Veterans was proud to be honored during the flag retreat ceremony

DisneyLand is one of best place to visit and it's a lifetime experience. Me and wife took hopper ticket with Maxpass so that we can go to both DisneyLand Park and Disney California adventure Park. All the rides were excellent and absolutely loved each and every ride. The rides like Indiana Jones, Incredicoster (on California adventure Park), Space mountain, Guardians of Galaxy were out of the world. MaxPass is a very good feature which everyone must make use of to see maximum rides. We covered 22 rides in a day and also saw the Christmas parade, fireworks and fantasmic. Don't miss the fantasmic events since it's so beautiful and excellent.

It truly is magical. 2 days with our 14 year old nephew made him come alive. 2 days with our 18 year old nephew and the conversations were rich. 1 day as a couple and we were transported back to our dating days. So many rich memories, unexpected moments, so much magic

And the Disney Play app is AWESOME!! Especially in Galaxy's Edge

The fast pass system here is great it basically gives you unlimited fast passes when you pay for the Max Pass. Using features in the park such as signing up for fast passes, ordering food, and finding your way around the park is centered around the Disney app. There is WiFi in the park but it is spotty or sometimes non existent which isn't great when getting you are constantly having to use the app on your phone.

Christmas is a great time to go. The lights and atmosphere are excellent. Staff is, for the most part, amazingly friendly considering how many people they see every day. Speaking of people, Christmas and New Years are a terrible time to go if you don't like crowds. Most popular rides have hour plus waits within the first few hours and almost everything is an hour wait or more after about 10 or 11.

Been here more times than I can count growing up and living in Los Angeles my whole life. Whatever your feelings on Disney, they are the absolute best of the best when it comes to theme parks! Get here early and they have been known to open up the gates about 30 mins before "official" opening time.

We recently were lucky enough to check out the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge portion of the park and my goodness it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! If you grew up watching the movies or are just a huge Star Wars can, you will instantly feel like a kid again as you see the full sized Millennium Falcon sitting there in front of you! The Smugglers Run ride let's you pilot the ship and it makes you feel like you're in the movies! Every inch of this new area is detailed and feels like a real, lived in place. You genuinely forget you're in the middle of Anaheim sometimes! I'm excited to return to see the second ride when it opens! Also, download the app! It really helps you figure out what you want to do next and to get the most up to date info on wait times!

The prices keep going up, and that makes the rest of it less appealing no matter how fun. If you have the ability to go without breaking the bank, it's a great place to spend time. Be nice, have fun, accept that there are likely waits no matter when you go, and you'll have a good time.

It's Disneyland!! Do you really need to say more? But honestly it's so wonderful here, all the employees are kind and caring, and keep every experience magical. Always keep your eyes open cause you can be surprised who you run into. When i was here last I met Josh D'Amaro (the current president of this park) without knowing it. He super kind and interested in how my group was enjoying the park. All the rides are fun for kids and adults as well.

Who can't live Disney, the only thing to not love was how hot it was, but not even mickey and friends can fix that. The new star wars was super cool, maybe not as exciting as I thought, it was a giant area with one ride, but if you're a star wars fan you will love the attention to details.

Very fun and lots of great things. As a frequent Disney World person it was fun to see the other parks on the other coast! Not comparing them made it easier to just enjoy what was there.

By far the happiest place on earth! Love it all, family is everything and Disneyland is a great place to come and enjoy it with family.
Christmas season is the best time, but be ready for long lines almost every day.
Loved Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, all the details, characters and the vibe.
We LOVE Disney.

Even though no one could feel their feet by the end of our 3-day journey, our entire family loved it! The park is immaculate. It is surreal to just walk into your childhood movies and feel as if you're part of that world.

Such a Cool Place. If I get to be First in a Thousand to buy a Nancy Pelosi type of Kandi electric car that I paid my Refundable $100.00 downpayment to cost me only $9999.00, I am driving right back to Disneyland : )

Full of fun for kids. Lots of activities. Certainly cannot be covered in a single day. Having a fast pass is recommended. Some of the rides take up to 150 mins of wait time.
Sadly the day we visited the fireworks show was cancelled. They do not inform it beforehand and one ends up wasting time waiting for the fireworks show. Also all the characters are not available within the time frame mentioned in the app.

Downtown Disney was fine. It is basically like going to the restaurant and shop only version if Disneyland. A little crowded with long waits at many restaurants. They make you go through security to get in as a heads up as there is a little delay for the line and bag search. Metal detecting wand in use as well as pat downs.

We are loving this place. Myself and my parents visited Disneyland. It's been a while since then. Very, very busy. Thank God for the fast pass, it's worth it even though you have to pay $15 each. Too bad that we didn't see star wars. Hopefully when we can comeback not to crowded there.

Disney is without a doubt a magical place to both make memories and drain your life savings in as little as a single night. I feel real bad for those who have not had a Disney experience. Bless them <3 I wish I was rich enough to share this experience with many. I love Disney. It would be a real dream to work there.

A must visit place. I didn t grow up watching Disney movies but I enjoyed it a lot. You can add 10 more dollars to be able to reserve place in 10 different roller coasters and get professional pictures. I was there on Christmas time which was even more magical! The parade and the lights at night were amazing! Don t bring selfie sticks because it s not allowed

Rise of the Resistance is the name, and getting in a boarding group is the game. Well, you came to the right place. Here's some tips that helped me get in boarding group 20:

-Get lined up at the park doors at an hour before opening
-Use your mobile carrier, not park wifi
-Go to my status and keep refreshing, don't open and close the app
-Make sure your entire groups tickets are linked to your Disneyland app
-Have everyone in your group with a cellphone try to get in a boarding group, remember they need everyone's ticket ls linked
-Have fun! It's a great ride.

Ok so you know it's the first and in many ways the best. Go for rides, go for the food, go for the fun. It is in a constant state of improvement. Many type to duplicate by nobody does it like disney. It's not perfect but I have never had a bad experience. It's time for you to go again.

The new Star Wars attraction was great! And, the lines to see many other attractions were not too long. That was a good surprise. But, it's well worth the extra money to purchase fast pass access (to reduce line wait times).

I always love Disneyland, even though the price to get in is astronomically high now. I like that you can use the app to get your fast pass and photos. The new Star Wars Land is fun, although I was disappointed that there was no fast pass for the Millennium Falcon Ride. The ride itself is fun, however you are so busy pushing buttons on the side of you that you miss what s going on in front of you on the screen. If you ride as a single rider you can avoid the long wait, but you ll get the most boring seat on the ride.

This place is the best during the Christmas season!! I buy my annual pass just for this season! It's like walking into another world!! Thanks Disney for always making my visit a MAGICAL experience!!

It s Disney should I have to say anything else? To get to the point yes I d recommend going!

To go into detail, overall I d recommend Disney to everyone but it is a pricey trip so you should plan ahead even if money isn t tight. For me personally I was just in the area and went for a day and managed to spend 2k.... that was including tickets for me and the wife, food, parking, and some other things we wanted as well as a few gifts.

Tips for the trip: If you re doing this as a vacation just fork up the money for the fast pass. Regardless you will be spending a lot of time in lines. If you don t want to you can get fast pass tickets from machines for certain rides that will tell you when to return. They do space out when you can get them, so no you can t go to each ride and print off a time. I d also recommend eating before and bringing food to eat outside of the park (if you can) inside the park you re going to pay a steep price. It s not crazy expensive, it s above what you wold expect but it s not outrageous. Well maybe a bit but you re in a huge part that needs to make money also. Other then that enjoy your time there s a lot to see!

Disneyland! Crazy fun, but save up if you ever want to come here. It's crazy expensive, too. The rides are AMAZING, but be prepared to wait an hour and a half to go on anything. Sidenote: Matterhorn Bobsleds at sunset look pretty cool.

Great time and was so much fun! Definitely need 2 days to get it all in and see the shows, maybe 3. Interesting how it was 2 separate parks with different tickets but getting the Hopper was worth it.

It's a great place. The attention to detail of the star wars land is really cool but honestly it's chaos but that's the nature of Disney Land. I enjoyed my turkey leg and had a whole bunch of great memories to share when I got home but it was exhausting

I made different reviews for each park but for Disneyland resort I'll tell you about Downtown Disney and both parks combined. Every time I come to Disneyland I go to California Adventure. I always get the two day hopper. It's honestly the best way to go (I can tell you why in a different post). But, I love downtown Disney because of the food. They have my favorite place Jazz kitchen which has a amazing Jambalaya. I don't drink alcohol but there is a drink there called the hurricane that is delicious but it will sneak up on you. Across from there is Tortilla Joe's which has amazing table side made guac! You can also find a huge Starbucks closer to the and by the ticket booths and a cart that sells the most amazing Churros you've ever had.

What can I possibly say that hasn't been said before? We had an amazing time at Disneyland! It is super great to go without kids, and the MAXPASS IS SO WORTH IT! We got to go on every ride we wanted and it was so much easier to organize our day around that.

The silhouette cut out is the best deal and such a personal part of a take home. The frame is cheap plastic and expensive but the face is 10 usd per face! The woman had been doing it for so many years and it's a fun experience in itself.

We were there on one of the first days Galaxy's edge was open. I'm not a huge star wars fan but it was still really fun and it was so immersive. All the details were incredible. The millennium falcon ride was really great.

Happiest place on earth was pretty fantastic. It really is a visual delight to walk through the park. We loved the flavor of the frozen Dole Whipped pineapple treat and wish the tiny serving wasn't hollow inside.

It's Disneyland. The happiest place on Earth. There is nothing much to say about it. It's fantastic. Get there early and go to popular rides first to avoid the crowds and then get some fast passes. Your day will be full of joy with a little wait time. Ordering food through the mobile order can also free you up from staying in the line as well. It's been a wonderful for my family.

Disney Is the only place you can experience the amazing rides, and in general we loved it, but we probably won't return for a looong time, as it was crowded (25 min wait at best on the slowest days off the year), over priced and the food was really expensive. A pack of 5 small suckers (like just bigger than a quarter) were 7.50. we really enjoyed it, but plan accordingly. And the poor people with strollers probably had it worse, you can't even walk without people cutting you off right and left if you have one of those.

Such a great family place. All ages will find fun here. They serve cold brews for adults throughout the park and have stuff to eat, drink etc on nearly every block. Lines can be long. I recommend the fast pass. Parking is $25 per car so take advantage of the hotel shuttles.

Really is the happiest place on Earth. I think I had as much fun as my kids. World of color makes me cry it's so beautiful. The fireworks are cool as hell. My 5 year old rides all the crazy rides she's allowed on. We love these parks. The turkey leg s off the hook.

Disneyland Is Really Magical

Disneyland Is Really Magical

Every day is magical at Disneyland. Just make sure you bring extra shoes to change into because, all the walking is hard on the feet. And you'll need a jacket at night here in California. The waits are long so check out the slow days if you can because it's a little better. Parking is $20.00 now but, it's free in Downtown Disney with isn't a long walk. Just move your car to a different space every 3 hours. ;)

It's the happiest place in the world! Well hopefully it's not too crowded when you go. It all comes down to your planning. Go during off season or when some of the annual passholders are blocked. I would highly suggest a fastpass if you like getting on alot of rides during peak season. A great thing to use is mobile ordering for food! It saves a lot of time by ordering on the Disneyland app and just picking up when ready.

The two theme parks are fantastic. We went during the summer and the crowds weren t bad at all. All the cast members we had conversations with were friendly. If you haven t been to these theme parks you are missing out. I m a passholder at Disney World so I ve gone to the four parks many times. But man, Disneyland sets the bar extremely high to what an incredible theme park is.

So much fun - still the best theme park I've ever been to. It's expensive, but worth the money.

It's not just about rides here: it's about the sights and the stories. I hate roller coasters and I find lots to do. Good food too.

The app is really helpful. I recommend going mid-week in winter. You can check online for how busy they predict it'll be and which rides will be closed for maintenance.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly and happy people and employees... Disneyland is the place to be during the holidays. Rather its Disneyland or downtown Disney, the vibe is so tremendous and joyous.

This is my first time visiting as an adult and Disney truly brought the child out of me. It really is the most magical place on earth. When you walk into Disneyland all the problems of the world disappear and do not exist in this park. Every corner is a fantasy. My favorite ride was Winnie the Pooh it was beautiful and colorful and so much fun. The food is amazing in the park! The fireworks show, the light show, the characters the music everything comes together beautifully to create a magical experience. I went in January where the weather was perfect I can't imagine being in that Park when it's hot outside . I would highly recommend taking a friend or relative with you who knows the park well and can help you navigate, I went with a dear friend and waiting in line was minimal because she knew how to navigate to the park perfectly. You really want to maximize your stay and prevent yourself from backtracking and wasting time walking and looking for things. It's a huge Park so you can get lost be sure to take each area one at a time and plan before you go ahead. There a lot of great blogs online that can help you do that as well. I would definitely plan ahead.

Found the park to be exceptionally clean and the cast members friendly. I am a DisneyWorld regular and was not disappointed at all in my trip. The counter service food quality was above and beyond , there were often unique vegetarian options. I loved the proximity of this park to California Adventure.

Perfect place for fun with the whole family! Definitely no matter what age you are! The kiddos have a great time like always! Lunch at The Blue Bayou is a must for us! Exceptionally well done food a bit on the high price but the food is definitely well worth it! Need a beer? Just go to downtown Disney where there is a few places top get a cold one, craft? Yes! Ballast point is another great addition to Disney, great craft beer, good prices and definitely a great setting to hang out! Cheers! Prost!

Always a lot of fun at Disney. The lines weren't too bad. The fastpass works great with the app. It's also great with mobile food orders. Star Wars Galaxy land wasn't too busy. Got to go in and take some great pictures. The whole family loves it here

It took us 10 years to have children and this was our first vacation to Disneyland with our family! We had a blast and the kids just love Disneyland! They love getting pictures with all the characters and the entire Disneyland Christmas season! Christmas parade was super fun for the kids! Our kids are still young but super tall so they were able to go on most rides! Ariel, Buzz, Teacups, and Dumbo were the favorites! Truly magical for all of us! We are excited to go again real soon!

Disneyland is a classic must-do when visiting Southern California, whether you re a kid or an adult. There is so much to see and do, I d allocate at least a day per park, or 3 days for a better less rushed visit.

Allow lots of time to park (take a quick pic of your parking section sign to easily relocate your car at the end of the day), get through security and take a tram to the park entrance. More time if you need to line up for tickets.

They now offer a quick line off to the left if you re just buying tickets for the day. Should you decide to come back an additional day, stop at a ticket booth before you leave and see if they ll apply the cost of your ticket to a multi-day ticket (cheaper).

The rooms are dated at Hotel Disney and could use some updates, but the Disney theme is evident throughout. Parking is $25/night. Most of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The water slides and hot tub were closed but not listed as closed on the app. It s convenient to be on the property, but not worth the very high cost. There was also no information in the room about the park or resort. I think they expect you to download their app, but my old eyes prefer a hard copy of information to peruse.

Happiest place on earth they say, might be true. Always a clean environment, service is top notch and as always a fun time. Went at the perfect time of the year I think where wait times were low.

If you have a disability you can go to Mickey's City Hall and ask for a "Return Time" (free). It's a paper you take to the fast pass section you get a return time for the ride you choose and purchasing a Max Pass ($10 ea. Person) is also a fast pass you can double them together and get on as many rides you want through out the day on both parks. And you don't have to worry about waiting in line for 60 minutes. Also go to New Orleans restaurant and ask for a "Mint Julep" it is the best refreshing drink for a hot day.

The happiest place on earth?? You got that right! There is so much to do and see that your day will be filled easily! Shows, rides, characters, food, snacks... what more can you ask for!

Long lines that seemed to move well as long as the times were under 30 minutes. When you start getting into the line ups that are an hour or more and the ride ends in 2 minutes kinda feels like a kick in the head. Our longest wait time was 80 minutes. The whole over charged and over priced things kinda ruined the trip for me as Disneyland came off looking money grabbers. If people are willing to pay those prices then I guess Disney will keep charging those insane prices.. A fool and their money are soon parted. $150 a plate/person at club 33 seems reasonable now lmao...

Either you later be Disney or you don't .

But I absolutely love Galaxy's edge. And can't wait to go again. So coming from a guy who doesn't love Disney. That's the best recommendation I can give you. It's so otherworldly and all encompassing. I wish every one luck on being able to ride the newest attraction. It's absolutely worth it.
