I loved walking around the hotel lobby and seeing memorabilia from the different decades! Some gave me a walk down memory lane. For Example the Mickey phone!!!
The room was a good size! I was in love seeing 8 pillows on the bed when I first walked in!! 8 pillows, I love my pillows! The Murphy bed came in heady during our stay! The shower was nice and hot as well! I would definitely stay here again!!

We normally like to stay at the moderate level resorts, but with the room refurbishments Pop Century is a pretty decent value for the money. The foldaway beds make for extra room during the day, there are coffee machines, and more than enough USB ports and shelf space for all of our gadgets.

Love the refurbished rooms. Very clean and modern feeling. Cast members were very friendly. Except for 1 bellhop who was rude and lied on purpose for a tip, but the manager took care of it. The food court was just OK. The lines there could be very long and the food was mediocre. My husband got sick one night, and they were out of Pepto at the Pop gift shop, so I had to trek over to Art of Animation at 6am in the cold, windy weather to get some. My kids loved the rooms though. My 2 year old daughter called it, "Mickey's room!"

Very nice Budget friendly hotel in Disney world resort. Pools are very nice and the resort is very clean, the ability to use the Disney bus system is a plus. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. Overall I have stayed at this resort many times and it is my favorite Budget resort in Disney world.

We have been coming to Disney for years, but this was the first time at Pop Century. We loved the resort, our rooms were as expected, the pool was great and the Skyliner was a big hit. It is the best Disney transportation by far. However, rude staff members put a damper on our stay. This is the first time at Disney that I have encountered rude and unfriendly cast members . The lady handling the movie by the pool was not only rude to adults but was screaming at kids. There was no excuse for her behavior. I just didn t ever feel as if the staff appreciated us visiting; it was more like we were a nuisance. I also did not like the limited food choices at the restaurant and the mobile ordering. I know this was forced by covid, but I hope it changes soon.

My fiancee and I were in the 80's, building 7, and it was a long walk to the room after doing parks for 10-11 hours. It would be better if there was a bus at the top, side, and bottom of the resort. However, the property look amazing. It was excellent to see all the throwbacks they had and to read all the trivia plaques posted along the hiking trail, which ran adjacent to the lake. Room service was a little slow, but it was later in the evening so that's understandable. All in all, we were absolutely pleased with our experience and will return.

Fun and funky theming at this hotel. Each section is set in a different decade from the 50s through the 90s. Oversized pop culture icons from each decade decorate the exterior of the buildings. The food court features American cuisine, with a nightly 'home cooking' menu at one of the stations featuring roast beef and turkey. Quite enjoyed it. The down side is the bus service prepares you for the lines awaiting at the parks.

Well maintained, clean and pleasant themed hotel. Some of the theming is out of date even for a theme of the past but that is the only clue you will find that the hotel wasn't built yesterday as it is so clean and freshly painted you may think this is a brand new hotel.

The room was really nice we really enjoyed ourselves. I had a late checkout housekeeping knocked on the door 8 in morning. They were cleaning rooms on both sides of our room, I could tell you exactly what they were doing. I called front desk they said they would get a hold of someone to let them know the issues. About time she did that, kids were up and we no longer needed a late checkout. I was upset it had been a very long night for our family. I just wanted to sleep before the drive home. When traveling with kids parents need that extra 45 minutes, hour or whatever to sleep. I didn't ask for a late checkout to enjoy more time at the resort. I wanted to sleep due to the fact we was enjoying our time and stayed out late.

The main building is nice enough, modern and has a huge gift shop and food court. The actual rooms are equivalent of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Ok to just rest when you're spending all of your days at the park. No microwave in the rooms which would have been nice to have considering how expensive food is at the parks and the resort's food court. Also, the walk from the main building to the actual rooms can be a bit ridiculous. Also thought the room "safety inspections" are a joke. Every day someone comes in and walks around looking to see if lights and doors are working properly? I've never been at any hotel that does anything like that while guests are there. If I have a problem, I'll call you. Otherwise just check after my family has left for the week.

We stayed here for two nights in a newly renovated room. We checked in around 10pm and had to wait for a while to do the check in maybe about 20 or 30 min. The walk to our room from the parking lot was a little confusing for being the first time there, but after the first day we got around with ease. We liked all the icons and cool things to look at around the resort. The food court was pretty big and pretty loud. The gift shop was adequate and had some essentials that we had forgotten to pack. Our room was very nice we loved the new layout and design of the rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The only issue we encountered was a housekeeping staff trying to get into our room before we had checked out. Other than that we would stay here again.

Ok so first let me say we absolutely love Disney. We were going to buy into DVC but wanted to stay at a kid themed resort first. We originally booked our visit for All star sports (since it is my sons first visit). But after reading more reviews we decided to upgrade. I emailed disney and received a phone call. They informed us the only upgrade available was for Pop century. We said that was fine (upgrade was limited bc we are on the free dining package) no problem. We had already received our luggage tags and I asked if we needed to print new ones or something. They said no, and I'm quoting " we go by the barcode". The representative said the barcode would be upgraded. Ok cool. Easy enough. Our arrival went smooth and we checked in for our visit on the 3rd of Sept. Staying 6 nights. We were placed in the 90s wing. Which I think is the furthest from everything. 90s and top floor. Definitely not an upgrade. I mean it was only 150 more for the upgrade but still I was like this doesn't seem right. So I called to see if we could get a room closer and we were able to move to 70s. Rooms are all refurbished and have the Murphy beds. No microwave but theres a mini fridge and a safe. Comfortably sleeps 4. I know it can sleep 5 with a pack n play but it will get cramped. The only major issue was this:
Our luggage was not delivered. We checked in at 9am. So we spent our first day in the park. Our luggage hadnt arrived to our 1st room. We called and switched rooms and they said they'd let them know. We moved to our new room then bumped back to the park. We got back from Hollywood around 9pm I believe still no luggage. My husband called down and inquired as to where it is (usually they are punctual) the guy on the phone said something about all star sports and then said "I hope thats not true". I was like oh dear this isnt good. He said he would call us back. We didnt receive a call back and fell asleep. The next morning still nothing. I went down to the front desk at 650am. The gentleman looked up the information and said they knocked at our door at 1035pm. I said we didnt receive a call. The representative didnt apologize for the inconvenience this all was and just said it's coming now. I couldnt believe it. Maybe I was spoiled from staying at Saratoga springs in 2017 (honeymoon) but usually disney is ontop of stuff. No apologies no nothing. We did everything to make this smooth. It sucked bc the first night all our toiletries and stuff was in our checked bag. Todays say 2 and we got our stuff in the morning (after I had to go down to the front desk). Definitely not what I expected. I know it's a value resort but that shouldn't mean less customer service.
On a brighter note: bus service is amazing and every driver has been friendly and personable.

Pleasantly surprised with a week stay at this resort dubbed budget friendly. All staff friendly and helpful, not one grumpy face. Property recently renovated but very well maintained. Room size adequate, bathroom and overall storage space more than adequate. Anything that you'd need, all you have to do is ask and it's sent to the room. Transportation to all parks, fairly regular. Gifts n food at the resort is slightly expensive and limited but that's expected for the sheer volume of vacationers that go thru here. We will definitely come back and stay here again. What a magical Disney trip this proved to be.

I would like to say how much my family and I appreciated Stephanie s help checking in tonight. It s our first Disney visit and it helped so much to have someone that was willing to take the time to make sure our questions were answered about food, bands, room and transportation. Customer service excellence at its best! Thank you again Stephanie!

This Resort is centered mostly toward small and teenage children with great amenities to use for families that have small children all the way down to infants. There are several rooms that are very closely located to entertainment and a couple pools. It has a food court type of eating area where you can get several selections and then have comfortable seating to eat in. The whole place is very well decorated and looks like an exciting time for the kids. The pool was a big hit they had games being played around the edges and probably 100 people in the pool enjoying a nice day .

The new renovated rooms are really nice, loved them.
The reason for the 3 stars are due to house keeping. I awoke several times the first night by a smell, it smelt like poop. When I got up the next morning my granddaughter asked me what that was on my bed.......it appeared to be what it smelled like!! When we had came back from the park, we were exhausted, I showered, changed in the bathroom then just pulled the sheets back not looking and crawled in and past out. You could see what appeared to be a urine stain and poop. It looked like maybe the sheet may have gotten wadded-up in the washer and dryer. House keeping was very busy, they had over 800 people check out that day so I know how easy not to have noticed it. Disney did refund one night plus gave us 3 dinner coupons so 5 stars for them.

The rooms are cozy and beautiful. The room service runs every day and always replenshes toiletries which is great. Only issue you might have is that each area is very large so if you're rooming at the end hotela then you're in for a good walk.

Horrible place to stay. Bedbug infestation, hotel staff covering it up. Renovations going on, loud drilling everyday in the lake out back. Front desk uses a call service so when you call the front desk you dont actually speak to the front desk. Food in cafe us good but expensive, 10 dollars for a hot dog! Will never stay there again and would not recommend to anyone.

Pop and art of animation are great value resorts! The refurbished rooms at pop are awesome! With the table that pulls down into a bed, the new laminate floors and fresh update these rooms are really nice. A step up from previous design, well done Disney. The only complaint is sound is a bit more of an issue, you can hear the stomps and things dropping on the floors above and beside you. But I know how the rooms were before and the trade off is worth it. Just bring your earplugs for nighttime. Great pools, and I think the dining hall is really good, not as good as art of animation but close.

Rooms are teenie-tiny! Parking is a million miles away! All the tour groups stay here because it's cheap, so it's way crowded. (We went on the 1st week of FEB--think national cheer leading competition and the thousands of teenage girls that brings.) If money is a big deal for you on this trip, this is a good place. I would have rated a 3-star if the large groups were not present.

Visually appealing location, especially for kids. The food was actually pretty good, but you'll be waiting in line for it. Nice pool, easy transportation to the parks.

Everyone here has been great. The front desk, the bus drivers, the pool bartenders. The rooms aren't bad. They feel small and the walls are thin. Mostly I am here to sleep and shower, so this room is more than adequate. The theming is pretty cheesy. I actually am starting to enjoy it. Music from earlier decades plays in the lobby and busses. I don't swim, but people seem happy about the pools. If you like to take midday naps, avoid rooms near the pool if possible. Overall, I like it here.

Inexpensive, clean, updated, full Disney experience without paying through the nose! Showers have handheld and overhead shower head which is a major bonus for moms with small children. There is room service, 3 pools, nice place to eat with decent variety. I'm vegan and the chef offered more options for me. Really awesome. If you're asking for more then you need to go somewhere else and pay more.

They are all very kind here, and the service is amazing! We stayed during Hurricane Irma, and they were allowing people to bring animals for the hurricane, and they gave us the Disney Movie Channel that usually costs money, for free on the 2 days the parks were closed down! Definitely would come again.

The room is in excellent condition and we'll taken care of; you're provided a fridge and basic amenities. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi is incredibly spotty, food and drink are incredibly expensive, there isn't much in terms of watching tv and you can't hook up and use any external devices such as Roku or a gaming system. Overall though it makes for a very convenient on location site when vacationing to Disney. You are right within the property and shuttle buses run every 20 minutes to all the parks making driving your own car almost completely unnecessary. If you're looking to visit Disney I would suggest stating at the Pop Century or one of their other on site resorts for the incredible convenience alone.

We waited for 9 hours to be checked into our room, was without our luggage for 10. the staff was totally unhelpful at the desk - dismissing us and giving us generic responses. it's a 20min walk to the eating/busing area and not one worker even looks your way when you ask for a ride. only saving Grace is the rooms and food is alright but the staff has made our stay very unpleasant

Renovations are wonderful! Love the Murphy bed, and all of the additional storage that was added! The sliding doors, extra outlets, modern decor. They increased the value of this "value resort"

Before I left, I purchased the gfic receptacle online. I've never done that before, but it was perfect with the built in nightlight, I had to get one!

The rooms were great. We had trouble with luggage at first but they made it right. The rooms are not heavily decorated but the surrounding communal areas and buildings are decorated with American pop culture icons. It is a large resort so your room could be a good 10-15 minute walk from the lobby. The food court is quick advice and we'll stocked. Many delicious choices for every meal. The everything pop gift shop has lots of souvenirs and you can have your park purchases taken to the pop gift shop to be picked up by you the next day. They provide transport all over property but the busses get very crowded and can be tiresome to deal with at times. Disney resorts also provide transport to and from the airport. All in all it is the best value resort on Disney property.

We stayed at pop century for the first time. I loved the set up of the room. It was quiet at night. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired though. When we arrived we saw a dirty bobby pin under the table. Which to me means the floors were never swept. We stayed three nights and it was never picked up. Upon arriving back from Disney on the second day we found our dirty wash cloths still in the tub. The dirty coffee filter was still in the coffee pot. I opened the drawer and nothing had been refilled ( coffee, creamers, tee bags, coffee coups or lids). After a long day I walked down to the reservation desk to wait in line. It was all rectified in the end. Because of these little things you have to wonder what big things are being let go. The food in the food court also left a lot to be desired at a great cost. I would not book a room there again.

Great room for the price. We have stayed here before and will again. The room had two queens, one that was a pulldown and a table when put away. Great improvements with the recent renovations especially with the bathroom and the sliding door. Makes it so much easier to close the door without needing to step into the shower or sit on the toilet.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had so much fun. We payed extra for a preferred room and it was worth every penny. The last thing you want to do after walking all day is walk a long way to your hotel room. If you stay in the 60s building there s hardly any walking! The rooms were so nice and updated. They had USB outlets and tons of places to store things. The Disney Skyliner is absolutely amazing and changed our experience there. We love Disney but the crowds can get bad. After a long day of being surrounded by people it can be hard to get on a cramped bus full of more people. The sky Liner changed that for us! It was fast and took us right to the front of the parks. No bus for us! The food here is amazing, which was unexpected. The turkey sandwich is to die for.

My one complaint is that we had the Do Not Disturb sign up and house keeping knocked twice in one day and woke us up both times. We had gotten in on a red eye so we were resting during that afternoon. Overall this place is so fun and we are already planning our next trip!

We loved it! We have 2 & 4 years old daughters. We stayed at 60s. There is elevators, just FYI. It s huge hotel and so many people. But they know how to handle big crowd. Breakfast took only 15 minutes to get, bus comes every 20 minutes and we never wait that long.
Pool party is so much fun for little kids too. There is poolside bars, room service is not that expensive. There is little arcades which my daughters had so much fun. Stayed up little late to have fun. Overall, this place is super fun place for kids! I won t recommend for sophisticated adult stay. It will be screaming kids till 11pm. Pools are open till 11pm.

Great place to stay if most of your time will be spent in the parks. Our newly renovated room was very clean and had lots of space for storage. You may want to bring ear plugs or something to provide white noise if you are a light sleeper. Food court can get a bit crazy when busy, but we were patient and happy to be in Disney World.

My family and I stayed at Pop Century for our Disney World visit this year. We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are small I must warn you but hopefully you won t be doing too much in there besides sleeping. There s one queen bed in the room and a table with two chairs that actually folds out (Murphy bed). If you don t know what a Murphy bed is it s one of them fancy beds that folds out of the wall. Witchcraft I tell you, very handy. The beds are tall enough off the ground so you can slide bags or whatever underneath them to save space. Everything was pretty clean, the bath tub probably could have used a little extra attention but other than that everything was great. I definitely recommend Pop Century to anyone heading to Disney World!

So people chose here for the price, I am going to give some cons: water quality is poor both for the tap water and pool water; smoking area too close to the cafe and we including the kids have to pass it every time; cafe food selection is limited and the taste is really not matching the high price tag. I guess we got what we paid for. Will never come back however. Going to choose a better one next time

Renovated room was nice with second pulled down queens bed. The room is on the small side. Resort has the new skyline which is shared with the Art of Animation resort. The bus service to Magic Kingdom has long wait. No bus service to Epcot and Hollywood Studio since Skyline is opened, so if ne is afraid of height or enclosed space, he/she may want to look at another resort. Overall, pleasant stay.

This resort surprised me! I didn't expect to like it compared to the other resorts I stayed in. While I still prefer several others to this. I can't help but agree that Disney did a good job with it. Loved the decor of the room and the service was on point despite the very busy atmosphere and number of guests.

The pools were also very impressive!

Just checked in an hour ago, but so far, this place is very nice. Decent price and just feels nicer than the All-stars. That said, I will update following our stay, but for now, it seems to be pretty awesome. The updated rooms are AMAZING. Fresh look. Nice Murphy bed is a KEY space saver and offers a nice little table when not in use. There are now 9 two-plug outlets throughout the room and 5 two-USB charging ports. That is an incredible upgrade. Very nice TV and dresser. Beautiful furniture. This place has greatly improved!

Updated room was nice but small with a queen bed and Murphy bed that is a table in when in closed position. Pool did not open early. The place is spread out and it is far to walk to the main hall but I'm sure most people are getting on the bus to the park in the morning. It is affordable and convenient for a Disney visit. If I was planning a longer trip I'd look for a deal on the next step up resorts.
