Amazing place to go with your family me and my fam...
Amazing place to go with your family me and my family went and had a blast the lines were long but we has a fast pass so the line went fast .
Amazing place to go with your family me and my family went and had a blast the lines were long but we has a fast pass so the line went fast .
Animal Kingdom has really matured as a theme park in the past 7 years. With the addition of Pandora, it's become insane. I recommend fast passes for everything! For food, try Yak & Yeti or the new Harambe Market.
It was amazing wonderful park employees and wonderful service the rides were epic! I recommend this place!
Love it took my year and a half old son and he had a blast, he loved the safari ride loved the animals... kudos Disney
Came to the park unfortunately it's raining Guest Services was really great they gave us ticket to go on another day since we are traveling with a special needs child. Since we have the day ourselves we're going to take the opportunity to see what all the local restaurants has to offer here in Florida
Get here early if you want to go on the new Avatar ride. You'll want to be at the park before the gates open to beat the line, otherwise you'll be waiting for 2 hours or more - no joke! The animal safari is definitely worth doing. If you like rollercoasters, you'll love Everest!
Cast members as always at Disney parks were fantastic with our party and the young kids. Helped us with disability access and explained everything really well. Really appreciated it.
Animals looked happy and healthy, the chimps especially were in good spirits!!
Rides were fun, good mix of fast and calm rides.
For park goers:
Bring a hat and suncream- it gets HOT fast.
The best ride is ride of passage. Get their early or get fast pass though because the line is HUGE! Loved seeing all the animals, take lots of pictures! The tour guide on the Safari was awesome. Looking forward to coming back!
Absolutely wonderful decor and clean. Heads up make dining reservations at the nice places in advance and use the app to preorder.
Service and care is amazing by many people who work here and have had a couple of memorable workers go above and beyond, like the Disney way. Pandora words can not describe how beautiful it is... And in the evening, amazing. I thought that there would be more fiber optic and alternating glowing in the evening, similar to what is on the water ride here. Also plants that retract when approached. I would've like to see a full size Avatar not just the head out a shadow outline. This is Disney for goodness sakes.
My final comment on the new Pandora area... The flying ride, amazing amazing amazing. (Spoiler alert) The walk up, the display of the "lab" (which could use some dusting) and all the areas of the waiting process, very well done!
As far as ride attractions, this passage of flight and the Safari really are what made me feel the Disney Difference. That and the work put into the atmosphere. The authenticity of even the ride waiting lines... Great Job Disney! Oh but easy on those donut prices...I know they're big, but jeeze.
Also should have arrows "animals this way!"
They are in Asia and Africa people!
What a unique park! They combined a zoo with an amusement park. The animals were so fun to look at and learn about. Honorable mention to Avatar s Flight of Passage. This is hands down the best ride I ve ever been on in my life! It was a 2 hour wait but I was told that sometimes it s a 4 hour wait. If you have the chance, please go on this ride! It s worth the super long line. Rivers of light was beautiful, uncrowded (at least when I went), and left me in awe. The floats of animals and bright colors were a perfect way to end the day.
My favorite Disney park so far, is a must to go into avatar's rides
Disney Animal Park is awesomely you like wild animals. All exhibits are done very well and the Safari ride is a must. Go enjoy the wildlife and make some memories.
From the jungles of Africa and Asia to the trials of prehistory to the fantastic future of Pandora, there is something for everyone here! It s one of our favorite Disney parks. The kids love the Safari, the Na vi River, and the dinosaur dig playground!
Clean, beautiful and a lot of animals to see. A bugs life theater is a great 3D interactive exhibit. The big tree has animals and bugs carved in it. Amazing! Highly recommend
This used to be easily a 3 star park only but with the addition of new rides from avatar this has certainly boosted animal kingdom for me, both of the new rides are experiences like non other especially flight of passage you maybe put off by the waiting times of the brand spanking new ride but trust me it is worth it I waited 80 minutes and I would definitely do it again and I never queue more than 30 minutes and their night time show rivers of light is possibly the best show for me
This is an amazing park! You will love getting the chance to experience the animals in their habitats. It is as close as so many of us will ever get to a real safari. It is by far better than a zoo and it appears that they are in their true natural habitat. Then as if that isn't enough they have some amazing rides as well! From experiencing Mount Everest and learning about the expeditions that have been taken there to the world of Avatar the amazing ride that is on a whole new level of amazing! There is so much to do and experience here. Then the Tree of Life that is the center piece of the park is so detailed and amazing. This place is amazing and you really need to come and experience this park. They keep this park so nice and clean and the cast members are so friendly and helpful! We loved it here and will continue to come back here again and again!
It s very pretty. The flight of passage was a very neat ride (don t ride if you have motion sickness issues). Everest and the safari ride were also nice. It seemed like a lot of things were closed in Dino land. I liked it but I wouldn t pay to go again.
I beleive, that Animal Kimgdom is my favorite park.
There is something for everybody, whether it'd be:
An area for kids at Dinsaur's,
A thrilling experience to Asia for a roller-coaster,
A peaceful walk or a ride sightseeing animals that don't seem caged,
Being downsized as you walk to the tree of life to become a bug for 10 minutes
Even a life experience to immerse yourself in the world of Pandora's... You'll get a bang for your buck.
Animal Kingdom was amazing. Wonderful set up, neat facts, gorgeous animals and fun rides. Staff here was helpful, informative and very knowledgeable. Fun rides but of course pretty expensive. Had visited Magic Kingdom day before and staff there was awful so glad our second Disney park adventure was much more pleasant. Doing great with ensuring social distancing and safety of customers. Thank you!
Our families overall favorite of the Disney parks. From Pandora to The Lion King, there is always a ton of different things to entertain everyone. Highly recommend the Lion King and getting there extra early for a shorter line in Flight of Passage
Tree of life is absolutely breath taking. The African town, is so realistic, you forget your in a park. The Safari was okay, thought it would be longer, but there are plenty of animals to see along the way.
Animal kingdom is always fun. A little more relaxed than Magic Kingdom. The Avatar flight ride is probably one of the best rides I have ever rode. Including all rides at cedar point.
Absolutely loved it. Probably the best disney park to visit
We got there yesterday when the park opened at 9am by the time we had gotten off the second ride it was 1pm.
Disney has lost the magic it once possessed to long lines and overcrowded parks. For every minute of Disney Magic you are paying 30 minutes of stress and frustration.
A single day park hopper pass will cost you just under $200. Do you know much of the 4 parks you will be able to see in a day? Maybe one ride at each park.
On those small occasions when the park is slower it really is a wonderful place but quantity has defected quality and you re stuck in line.
Fantastic experience for young and old, day one of our Disney trip was a success!!!
Avatar Flight of Passage is amazing. When you get to this spot in the picture... you still have another 30-40 minutes left to go on the standby. Totally worth the wait!!
This is probably my favorite Disney World Park. I love being able to see the animals along with going on the rides. The Avatar ride is an absolute must. Get to the park about an hour early and then head straight over to get in line when it opens. This is the best way to cut down on your line time even though it will still be about 2 hours.
A wild experience for sure. You never know who or what you might see. Lots of shady spots for hot days and super fun rides for all ages.
Very very busy, I love that park lots to do and see. Go at night when it is all lit up, awesome, tree of life n avatar world beautiful..
Absolutely magical! The Disney Animal Kingdom delighted from the moment we drove in to leaving! I came here for a corporate event at Pandora - The world of avatar, which was incredible!
It felt like we were fully transported into the Avatar world and the rides were beyond belief brilliant. There was also a lovely musical display of the tree of Life which was captivating.
Highly recommend.
Fun place for the kids. We enjoyed the shows and dinosaur rides. The live animals on property are great to see.
Great!
The river of lights show is a must see.. was beautiful! We did the safari at dusk which I would not recommend as you do not see the animals.. overall I highly recommend to do this is park!
While I wouldn't say that the Animal Kingdom was my favourite park at Disney World, it is still utterly amazing.
Some of the set pieces in the park are absolutely breathtaking and my jaw dropped when I stepped foot into Pandora (Avatar area). Honestly, everyone needs to visit Pandora at least once in their lifetime.
During COVID times, they are taken care of by everyone. Social distancing and alcohol at all parks. Congratulations @Disney!
Love animal kingdom. My 1 year old loved all the animals and trees and everything.
Don t go with the COVID restrictions in place. Waste of time and Money. They managed Magic Kingdom much better
Our plan was to get there early and beat the lines to the Avatar ride. That was our plan and like 1000 other people. Long line but worth the wait!! My kids loved Everest!! All around great day. Picture is just 2 big hippos looking like one big hippo
Animal Kingdom is always a great place for families, and now also for Star Wars techies now. But now during the covid-19 situation it is sad. Disney is doing a great job, overboard, but it is not the same. Still a great place to see the animals.
Beautiful for the whole family! Avatars are amazing
Definitely my favorite park. Love the environment. The wait time for Avatar riders were ridiculous. 4+ hours. But safari was awesome and staff was very well educated on all animals and the animals have great living conditions.
It wasn't as great as some of the others to me, but it had its own charm. The best part was the Avatar ride. It was amazing.
So beautiful at night. The shows are amazing!! Food is also delicious
There are a lot of great things to do at Animal Kingdom. I highly recommend the Lion King performance - never disappointing. And the Safari is so cool. And one of my favorite roller coasters ever is located there called Expedition Everest. I also enjoy the authentic performances done by people who are native to those regions represented by this park.
The animals were enjoyable but the real experience and true treat is the Pandora experience of the park, if you enjoy Avatar or just a good thrill and veiws then the slow river ride to the fast pace riding on the back of a banshee you will enjoy this park. Everest is a roller coaster in this park and is easily in the top 5 roller coasters in all of Disney World.
Awesome place. Lots and lots of adventure rides. The attractions makes you feel like you have entered into a different world. The attention to details in these attractions are really out of the world.
It is so beautiful. That tree of Life is great. We loved the Pandora section. The Everest ride is the best!
Disney always seems to WOW visitors. And, once again at Animal Kingdom. So much to see that it takes 2-3 days to see most of the park. Beautiful, professional performances-new Lion King is so impressive. Amazing new Pandora added attraction, too. So many unique animals to see!
I enjoyed this theme park way more than than Magic Kingdom but then again I am 25 years old.
This is a must see park with themes from Asia and Africa. It is like an open Safari, so it also tends be the hottest of all parks due to less shade and covered buildings.
This park also has the Avatar Flight of the passage ride, which I can say is the best ride in all of Orlando, yes sorry Harry Potter. The Avatar ride is a must go, even if you have to wait 3 hours in the line.
The safari is also a must go, you will elephants, giraffes and even tigers.
The little details in this park is just astounding. Don't just walk from one ride to another but enjoy the whole experiance.
To many rules that make zero sense plus you pay the same price for half the attractions now
Met friends at Animal Kingdom and had a great time as always
Beautiful park! Can easily get lost, but one of the wonderful staff members will get you in the right direction in no time. A lot of places to take great pictures and plenty of activities to enjoy. This park also contains some of my favorite places to eat!
You'll definitely enjoy your time in this park!
Pandora, flying experience is absolutely AMAZING!!! If you can't do the fast pass, be ready to wait for 2 hrs. But it's worth every single second! All the park have so many fun things to do! All family Love it! 100% recommended
I like the avatar rides and the different areas of the park. The safari is awesome and the congo rapids are my favorite.
Beautiful place. It's like a giant Zoo with thrill rides, shopping, shows, and great food. Pandora is the main event though. The detail is amazing and FOA is by far the best Disney ride to date. From the moment you walk through the gates you feel transported to different and exotic lands. They take great care and pride in this park. The trees provide great shade but do also keep winds at a minimum (during summer this is a big plus and negative). The tree of life is a must see and we get pics in front of it every trip. The #2 park on our family list.
Was very surprised with this park. We went in thinking it was some average zoo, but we were pleasantly surprised. There are tons of animals and all kinds of neat stuff to do and look at. It's done and usual Disney fashion that makes you feel like you're in Africa and in Asia. There some very neat shows and great rides. The Pandora area is really neat
Animal kingdom has stuck out in my mind! I love the huge tree and the safari trek and now with the avatar world... I can t wait for this weekend!
Great park for kids and adults alike. I recommend going on a weekday or during off peak season. The parks can get VERY crowded. Try to fastpass Flight of Passage as early as you can. The wait was 4.5hrs when we went.
Had a great time celebrating our daughter's 30th birthday! She's an animal lover so it was perfect for her
If I could I would spend every day in either Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. It s by far the best park if you love animals.
Okay so we did the two park pass - Animal and Magic Kindgoms. Avatar simulator is worth the entire trip! I'm not big on theme parks but this was definitely a trip to remember.
Great! The Kilamanjaro Safari is way better than the Jungle Cruise. Decent rides. Lots of shows. Lots of fun and of course, PANDORA!
Be sure to check out the safari and all of the wild life!
My first visit to Florida... And Disney's animal kingdom. This is an absolutely beautiful park full of trees, plants, flowers, and lots of animals. The Safari bus ride was a great way to see some exotic animals in well designed habitats. And our tour guide was interesting, engaging, and funny! The Lion King show is a must for your days plans. Ongoing live music in the streets. Good food available. Friendly staff all through the park. An A+ park to visit for all ages...I enjoyed it and so did my 5 year old grandson! Please like this review if you found it helpful.
I had a fun time here seeing all the animals. I liked the safari ride the best. At one point I came close to fainting due to overheating, (I cant sweat for some reason) one of the cast members was very helpful and got me and my boyfriend inside and air conditioned room and gave me some ice cold water. Its nice to see that disney and their cast members are kind and helpful whenever you need help.
Absolutely wonderful park to visit. First time seeming the light show at night. It was beautiful.
Amazing Mac and Cheese - best I had in America. Definitely recommend for all lovers and packed full of flavour.
The end of day light show is a.azing with the effects and way thus is carried out. There are some good places to see especially the safari ride with the wide variety of animals on show too. There are a few good rides but again this is aimed more at the younger smaller generation in my opinion. It is still a good day out and there are some great photo opportunities to remember your visit with.
I just want to preface my review with that fact that Disney is all around a fun place to be no matter what. But if I m comparing all of the possible parks in Orlando that I experienced this is the one I would least recommend. If you are like me and love lots of thrill rides this isn t the park for you. The Avatar themed Pandora world is very cool and has a good ride that was one of a kind. Pandoras flight might be the coolest thing there. Expedition Everest coaster is also very fun. Otherwise this park doesn t have a whole lot to offer right now during Covid. There aren t shows going on. A few animals around but not a lot of animal exhibits that were super exciting. The river rapids ride also broke down on us for half an hour and we had to get out into a few inches of water to walk back to the ride entrance. Overall, still fun but maybe not the best place to spend a day if you don t have extra time and resources for it.
This place is truly magical. Disney brings things to life that we can only imagine. Kali raft ride was a blast for us! BTW- you WILL get wet. Wear a pancho or some quick drying garments. You should always bring a pancho to Florida's Disney parks anyway you just never know when a cloud will "magically" burst on you. Also back packs that are waterproof or ziplock bags will keep your contents dry through downpours or wet rides. Truly a blast. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Animal Kingdom.
Had a great experience here with food, dining and ride options. If you have littles, the lion king show is so worth going to. For bigger kids, the Avatar ride is a must and a great experience. Worth the wait if you can t get fast passes for sure! This park has great dining options too.
Brilliant day. Safari ride and light show in the evening was brilliant.
definitely a magical place! My favorite ride is Everest, one of the best from all parks! kids loved the safari, so cool being so close and personal w the giraffes and elephants if you are planning to visit Pandora do yourself a favor and book the fast passes a month in advance lastly, for those awesome parents that do this for their awesome kids, treat yourselves at the bar next to Everest great job moms and dads
Park with a lot of attention for animals. Less attractions. Long waiting times for attractions. Dinosaurland has a lot of attractions for younger children. Safari tour is a "must do" in this park.
Great time at a great theme park. Animals are fun to interact with and the evening light show on the tree of life is a great show. A good time to ride the yeti rollercoaster is during the parade on the water after dark. The average wait for Avatar rides is a minimum of over an hour.
First trip to Disney and enjoyed every minute. Not too many people, short wait times for all rides, and still a few cast members walking around.
Omggggg the best ride was the Avatar. I went on twice and the line was long but worth it.
By far the best park at Disney. It is not as crazy as Magic Kingdom and places you in a world of nature and serenity, unless you want a more thrilling approach and take on Everest!
Lots of fun, better experience that Epcot. The macaw show was incredible! Pandora's world was so beautiful, and the river rive was really cool. Expedition Everest was awesome! Really a thriller. Dinosaur Land and ride was very cool! Ate at the rainforest Cafe, and was blown away how good the food was!
Lots of hills. But lots of things to do and places to rest.
This is my favorite Disney park. I absolutely LOVED it. They put so much work into creating this park and the design/decorations are just stunning. I loved the kids play area too- it was nice to have a place to let kids run around and just sit and watch them. The Avatar ride was outstanding. The whole Avatar area was amazing and I love the "natural" decor, trees and flowers that are worked into the whole place. The show with the birds at the main tree when you walk in is worth standing around for.
Also loved the Everest ride.
Definitely will be back.
Just a lovely place to spend the day. So much to do. Fast passes make it so easy to have a fun day. Make sire to plan well.
Animal Kingdom is a great place to visit. Make sure to spend lots of time walking around the Tree of Life.
Best day of my life, specially went and celebrated my #50 I've never felt more safe than ever, well done on this pandemic, all the crew were splendid, professional and always Gentile
What can I say about Animal Kingdom?
The smallest park yet we did our most walking here! Pandora is absolutely amazing! Nothing compares to the ingenuity, the brilliance, and the craftsmanship that went into creating Pandora. Be sure to try a Pongu Lumpia from Pongu Pongu while you're there and try out the Santuli Canteen if you're looking for healthy, delicious lunch!
The Harambe market is absolutely wonderful. Swing by Zuri's Sweets and grab yourself a cinnamon cake pop while you're there. One of the best cake pops I've ever eaten!
Expedition Everest in Asia is a phenomenal ride! A ride worth the wait! Yak and Yeti over there is a good place to eat for dinner since there isn't many places opened for dinner in Animal Kingdom, although it is a little pricey and reservations are recommended.
The Harambe Safari is a great "ride". Go early in the morning or later in the evening to have a better chance of seeing most of the animal. We actually got to hear the lion when we went in the evening!
Fantastic park! Definitely a great place for adults and children.
If you love animals, then this is the best theme park for you. Disney's Animal kingdom has a large selection of rides, including Pandora, expedition Everest, and many others. They have numerous shows for you to enjoy, including a show with tropical birds. There is a great Animal Safari that is fun for all ages, and the restaurants are great as well. You will not be disappointed and expect to spend the full day at Animal kingdom.
I can't say this enough all Disney parks are awesome. Pandora is incredible it feels like you are actually there and it's a different experience from day to night I recommend checking it out. The show they put on at night in the lake is great I even cried for some reason during it. Get a file whip while here
Having now visited all 4 parks I can say this is my favourite. Beautiful throughout. It's a green world of magic. All the rides are great & added animal theming! Highly recommended a visit if you are in Orlando
Pandora is the awesomest place in Animal Kingdom. Check those two rides out and dont forget to try to get a fastpass or you will be waiting hours. Love the themes and shows here as well. Alot of different foods from different countries here. Dinasour Land is really cute for the kids. Just remember it is hot here and you will have extended wait times so dont get impatient, just have fun!
My favourite Disney park this has a more fun/educational theme about wildlife, nature and different cultures. There are some better (and healthier?) food options here I found than the other parks. It has some thrill rides but most are a bit more relaxed.
Not as magical as Magic Kingdom but Animal Kingdom was an adventure unlike any other. Pandora is every bit as dazzling as the movie with almost no lines. Definitely a great first visit to Disney World so far!!
We dined at The Yak and Yeti and the service and food were second to none. After we walked the park to experience the night life and the lights and were not disappointed
Disney s animal Kingdom is an amazing park. From exotic foods to expedition Everest it has excitement in every corner. Not to mention the opening of Pandora with the floating mountains in the avatar rides. And at night the rivers of light show is breathtaking. You have to check out Disney s animal Kingdom to truly know the magic.
Animal Kingdom was a pleasant surprise for us! Initially, we thought people only went there for Avatar, and to some extent that is true. Even with Magic Morning we still had a roughly 1.5 to 2 hour wait time to get on the ride, but even at 4 hours the ride would have been worth it. Aside from that, Avatar land is a really unique place to visit, especially at night. Likewise, the Tree of Life show was a really cool visual effect surprise. Outside of these attractions, the performances that were done throughout the park are definitely worth watching. There are some very impressive acrobatics.
