Honestly, this park has great food and rides. We love Pandora Flight of Passage and the Safari. Everst is great too. It is empty. We ate at Tiffins, which was amazing. Scallops! Try the Lambu Libation.

Animal kingdom is a fantastic park. The animals, rides, characters. It is by far my favorite of all the parks. Avatar, Everest, lion king, and safari. Animal kingdom is one of my favorites!!
This park is beautiful, it s a joy just standing around around without a purpose. I recommend everyone experience Avatar Flight of Passage & Kilimanjaro Safari as they are the premier attractions there. Navi River Journey is beautiful and has an incredible queue, but I wouldn t wait on a long line to experience it unless you ve done everything else already. Don t waste your fast passes on the shows as there s typically ample seating. Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo are the best shows at the park in precisely that order. Expedition Everest should not be missed.
One of my favorite parks, I loved the music and performances in the different regions, I also enjoyed seeing the animals that were out. This park has the most walking so wear comfortable shoes and sun screen on hot days. I don t recall seeing my rides at this park except the train and safari that takes you to another part of the park and to the petting zoo area. The food is very expensive and lines are long be sure to bring some snacks for the kids and plenty of water. The strollers are pretty cheap if you have lazy kids like mines.
Amazing time.... park is spotless... everyone who works at Disney Parks goes above and beyond .. ..The safari ride is great...wanted to try out Pandora ride but wait time was 2 hrs nest time so many animals and beauty to this park...slow down relax and just enjoy
So its Disney right. Cool. But animals are super hard to find and then.. goats? Really come on. Could be the most amazing experience ever. Just do the safari and park hop elsewhere.
Amazing. So much to do and see. Countries in Africa and Asia with food and culture to accompany them. The entire park is like a safari and very easy to navigate. Employees are very very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The Safari ride was full of animal sightings, Pandora was gorgeous especially at night and the Flights of Passage is now the best ride (virtual reality) I've ever been on. We stayed at the lodge on premise and everything stated above applies to the lodging. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
Pandora area was amazing, especially in the evening. Navi River Journey was beautiful. We wanted to buy so many souvenirs, but we had to start limiting ourselves. Pandora was amazing in the evening with everything glowing in the dark The Safari ride was really cool. The drivers are very knowledgeable and adds to the experience. We saw so many animals on our ride. Then after we did a walking trail and we were able to see more animals. More cast members were available to answer questions. A truly great experience. The tree of life with all the animals sculpted within the trunk are amazing. My wife told me there are over 300 animals there. I took a lot of photos around the tree. Rode the Dinosaur, going back in time ride, a bit rough, and had a blast. There were copies of dinosaur fossils. There is an area were kids can search for fossils. Such a great time here, hope you have as great time as we did.
My favorite of all the Disney parks! I love the Lion King so the huge Tree of Life is cool. The safari is neat. Expedition Everest and the Avatar were the best rides, in my opinion. And Pandora looks amazing during the day. even better at night.
The new pandora ride is incredible. The line moves fairly quick and the rooms you go through along the way are great. The actual ride is beautiful. You feel like you are in the actual movie. Wandering around the park area is fun as well! The floating rocks are so beautiful!
Started the 1st day with this park and I was thrilled! Seeing the tree of life had me in awe.
The variety of animals you get to meet and see... plus the fact that Disney is stepping in and taking in endangered animals and providing a wonderful home-like environment for these animals.
The rides were plentiful and each park area had amazing features. The african village felt authentic and like I was truly walking down the streets in that town. (The hot weather definitely assisted with that...) .
I got to say Pandora was a great addition to the park! The work they put into that area... the attention to detail was amazing. The sounds and lighting made it all the better.
There was a lot of variety of food and eateries. The roasted Pecans and almonds were excellent snack! There is even adult drinks throughout the park.
My kids love this park. The safari is always great, every time you ride it something different happens with the animals. Alcohol is served at the park so definitely a plus when being out there all day. Easy to get around the entire park. Avatar area is Amazing, especially at night. Disney never disappoints
Seems to be one of the smaller Disney parks but still able to pack a punch in a load of different content. We did the live lion king show and it was really good and everybody enjoyed it. Great story telling, gymnastics and music.
Staff is superb. You won t find a friendlier group of employees anywhere. The experiences are magical and worthwhile. I have 4 stars because what is lacking in the Disney parks is places to cool off and sit around lunchtime. A lot of the places are grab and go, survival of the fittest for a seat. We had small children and elderly with us so competing for a space was stressful and less magical. I ve been to Universal many times and we do not struggle with finding cool places indoors to sit and have lunch. The Disney experience would be truly magical if they could provide a better dining experience for hungry and hot park goers.
Disney's animal kingdom is an amazing and spectacular theme park. I highly recommend it. Although there are excellent rides and shows, wandering, looking and exploring. Food is good especially for a theme park. I especially recommend the Nomad Lounge in Tiffin's for amazing snacks and drinks.
Pandora, the world of Avatar is the most popular selling point of this theme park. You have to prepare yourself to wait for 120 minutes or more if you unluckily cannot reserve the time via online Disney fastpass. The tour to see wild animals is very different from your image of rest Disney theme parks.
My family (to kids, ages 10 and 3) picked this theme park with our 3 year old in mind, we thought Magic kingdom might not have as many attractions/rides he could ride. We were wrong about that, because he got to do much more at MK (people mover, Monsters Inc laugh room, speedway cars, Winnie the Pooh, mad tea cups, and buzz lightyear). Animal kingdom was nice because of the theme and the life animals in the Safari (highly recommended, especially for kids!). The tree was beautiful but especially at night. AVATAR is a must! Get your fast pass as early as possible to increase the possibility of obtaining Avatar, but if you picked tickets two weeks ahead (like we did) those are all gone. However, the ride is worth the wait. It was up to 4 hours for us, but it rained, so it ended up being only 2 hours. For holiday season lines at Avatar, 2 hrs was ok! (I asked the employee what the longest wait period for Avatar was, he said 5 hrs (300 minutes). But you can't leave without riding it!! My second favorite ride was Expedition Everest! Great thrill ride!
The avatar experience is incredible but it has a lot of wait. Like 4 hours waiting for a 3 minutes ride. You should put some sunscreen on because you ll have to wait a little bit of time sunbathing. You should book rides with the Fast Pass application like a month in advance if you want to take some advantage of it, because if you are close to the date you won t find a FastPass for the most recurred rides
What a wonderful place to visit! My daughter, nieces and nephews absolutely loved it! There is so much to do and it s so hard to believe this place is man made. The architecture, engineering, design, and creativity of this park is beyond description. I cannot wait to visit and explore this park again. We had an absolute blast and enjoyed the cuisine as well. So much culture and happiness in one place!
Always an incredible time. We have so much fun and love seeing the animals. They have done a great job maintaining a clean and safe environment during covid
I love Animal Kingdom. The bird show was one of the best shows I've seen in Disney. The Lion King show is great. A must see. My kids really enjoyed this park.
We LOVE Animal Kingdom, educational for the kids, impressive attention to detail for adults, entertainment exceeds expectations down to a street dance party in the middle of Africa where they invite your kids to take part and join in. Be prepared, it's HOT! Not as many A/C options you can jump into to cool off as compared to Magic Kingdom so bring fans and hydrate. Plan to spend extra time in Pandora especially at night when it comes alive, it's fantastic!
The most peaceful and beautiful of the Disney parks. So much to do even beyond the rides. Kids loved the free wilderness guide sticker scavenger hunt which kept them busy all day long!
This is an unbelievable amusement park. Animal Kingdoms attention to detail, food options, rides and experiences are incredible. We ve been to Animal Kingdom a number of times and every single time we go it gets better and better. I love Disney for always trying to improve on perfection
Neat place and we'll themed. Wish they had more information based signs so you knew what you were looking at. Example would be the jungle tour that you wall through.
Wonderful time. Be sure to get the fast pass for ride of passage. You don t even realize you re in the blistering heat of Florida when you are so happy to be in Disney world.
This park is amazing! There are many cool attractions, such as a safari with real live animals, thrilling rides, and beautiful, lush scenery that makes you feel like you're actually in a jungle! This place is definitely worth going, as you will an awesome experience!
Very beautiful park, not as fun as the magic kingdom one but still very nice and worth it. The Kilimanjaro safari trip is nice but too fast and one can t see close. We could not do the avatar ride because my son was not 44 tall. The cave ride was beautiful too.
The regulations and limitations are excessive. You must follow one direction and can't go where you want. The worst thing is all the people kept taking off the masks inside and coughing gross.
Most people will say magic kingdom is their favorite theme park...I am not one of those people. I feel animal kingdom is vastly underrated, from the moment you step through the entrance you transport to a wildlife lover's dream. From the movie themed rides/shows to the continental themed sections of the parks you will forget you are in Florida. This is one of the few places I dont feel sad when I see an animal in an enclosure because I know they are getting the best care available. Check it out, you will not regret it.
Disney is awesome except for one unfortunate side effect of its magic - long lines. Fast pass is where it s at if you can grab them. Grab them early in your planning!
We ve visited all of the parks and this was our all time favorite park!! Each continent brought realistic cultural elements, that s we had no choice but to explore. The kids (girls aged 14 and 8) felt this park catered to them both, more so what the others. We loved the safari ride, all of the animals and the light show at night is absolutely amazing!! The attached pictures aren t zoomed in, we were able to get that close to the animals during our safari ride!! Our favorite roller coaster was the Mt. Everest. It had many surprising twists and turns. We used our fast pass for this ride, then waited in line to ride again!! It was epic!! Can t wait to visit again!!
Amazing park with most rides falling under 40" and I believe only pandora has a ride at 44" so overall great for kids who like to get on rides. The flight of passage is the best 3D ride I have been on hands down. Jump in as a single rider to save yourself some time.
Disney is so selfish to not have any other options of dining out, other than their own yucky & expensive food. You'd figure after over 50 years of ripping people off, they would have the decency to allow commercial Restaurants placed inside the park (LIKE UNIVERSAL STUDIOS). Yeah, this was my first time coming back to Disney after 15+ years and I don't plan on coming back.
I've only been three times, but all three have been different, awesome fun. It's an expansive park with sections representing different regions of the world from native wildlife to culture, all done with the level of greatness Disney always provides. On top of that are
With covid going on alot of things were closed, basically half of the theme park but yet you still have to pay full price and can't even experience the full theme park.
Fast pass rides I would choose to book if I could go back and redo the booking would be Expedition Everest in Asia, Avatar flight of passage and Na'vi River Journey in Pandora. Children 11, 8 and 5 were good with all of them. Started the morning off on Expedition Everest which was a great wake-up call first thing in the morning! Lol.
One day is not enough to experience all the attractions offered by the park; we went to see Pandora-the world of Avatar, which is a must see attraction, the lines were long but the Avatar expedition was worth the over the hour wait.
This was our first time in Animal kingdom since the addition of pandora. We opted to do Animal Kingdom after dark, which was an incredible ticketed event. We basically felt alone in the park. pandora was a really neat experience at night as well. I can t imagine it being quite as impressive during the day.
Wait times were non existent. We actually were given the choice to ride flight of passage twice since there was no one in line. What an experience!
Excellent park...had a blast of fun and tons of stuff to see from beginning to end. All the areas are recomended to explore. Take your time and stay untill you can. Some times it rains so carry an umbrella and check weather. It's good to take sun block, water and some snacks. In the park there are lots of restaurants. Great place.
If you love animals and Disney, this is the place for you. I find it less busy than the other parks. Has a great coaster, Flight of passage (Avatar), and a beautiful safari.
What a wonderful park for everyone in a family! My kids' ages range from 4 to 19 and this park had something to offer for all of them plus me and my wife. Great rides, great entertainment, and an awesome experience. Loved it!
Didn't have enough time to go through the whole park, but remember everything being extremely beautiful... But Pandora, is really out of this world. No words can't describe what the artists did with the design of everything. Sorry my pics are so dark, but we arrived there late. Just to go to the amazing rides. FLIGHT OF PASSAGE MUST BE THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN EXISTENCE. Don't miss out on that. Even if you have to wait.
This part of disney was very mehhhhhhh, you could skip it to be honest and not of missed anything major. Avatar section looks amazing but only two rides in the area, the only ride that's worth while in the animal kingdom is the Expedition Everest it's great and is the only thing amazing for adults, but children will think the hole area is amazing
We loved that Avatar ride so much we waited for it TWICE in a day! Probably a total of 3.5 -4 hours and the experience was so worth it. We ate a yummy and healthy meal at Harammbe Market - way better than any amusement park food I ve ever had! The river raft ride was so fun for the whole family (all 12 of us!) - don t forget to use your free fast passes (:
The Pandora is incredible, the Navi River and Flight of Passage are a must. We also enjoyed The River of Lights Show. As for the Safari ride, we got to see wild animals, also some we didn't know about, and gained new knowledge. It was very informative and interesting. Don't miss the giant Tree of Life, when it gets darker you can watch video clips of Disney movies projected on it.
Kids had a blast. Dino world was fun. Bugs life is best 3D show we've ever seen. Safari tour is always fun and the Yeti rollercoaster is in the top 3 coasters at the Disney parks
Beautiful park, however employees looked and acted like they hated their jobs. Security also asked me to leave my child unattended while getting a bag checked which was completely ridiculous
Great fun to be had for the whole family. Not enough rides, and the water fountains are worse than your local community centre. The actors are really in character, totally fun.
Animal Kingdom is truly magical. The worlds they ve created transport you to Pandora, Nepal, Africa, all over the world (and beyond.) Seeing the animals was incredible, and so many were active. The safari ride was amazing, and the Pandora experience was otherworldly! You really felt like you were there and riding a banshee. This is my favorite park. I could spend weeks there just enjoying the incredible rides, animals, shows, and dole whip! I cannot wait to go back!
Omg I had the most amazing time of my life. I loved all the rides especially Avatar. The Rivers of Light was stunning. Na' vi River Journey was nice. The Safari was fun, beautiful Animals. The food was delicious of course.
The best park to spend the day! Very tranquile, and usually not too crowded like the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. It is stunning, and there are many hidden attractions that are amazing, like the petting zoo and the Animation Experience. My favorite WDW restaurant is there, Tusker House. Make sure to ride Flight of Passage, trust me, it's worth the wait (even it it is longer then 2h). Also, don't miss the Festival of the Lion King and the nightime show, both are very beautiful!
A perfect balance for my kids that are 8 years apart. Plenty of rides and shows, but more experiences than just roller coasters. Would definitely do it again!
Amazing. Just amazing. The flight of passage ride is the most amazing, fun, breathtaking ride I have had the pleasure of experiencing. The wait times for this ride is horrendous (I had to wait for 3 hours!) but trust me when I say it is worth it. I know what you re thinking, but even I m not one to wait more than 2 hours for a ride. If you re visiting this park, I think it is a sin to miss this. The rest of the park is beautiful, especially Pandora. Overall, it was such a magical and amazing night. I am definitely planning another trip here!
Ok, guys! This was my very personal favorite!!! We purchased the after hours at the park, and it was amazing! Pandora - The World of Avatar... the lights, the rides... it s just awesome!!! The flight of passage is a MUST NOT MISS! Just super cool! The Na vi River is bright and beautiful! And The River of lights... just breathtaking! Right after that, hop on the Mountain Everest Coaster right behind it! Fast, dark and fun! The Tree of Life also lights up and adds even more beauty to what is already special! Be sure to make reservations to have dinner at The Rainforest Cafe! Huge, and best place to enjoy a longer meal in family.
So love this place! We had an amazing time. The wait times were not as long as they said. We waited just under 2hrs for avitar and it was awesome. Well worth the wait. Mount Everest was the best we went on it over and over.. The tree of Life show at night is something to not miss!
Definitely my favorite park on the property. The river is transformed and the different areas are really detailed and beautiful. My family had a blast, we really loved the Everest ride. We also got to meet goofy and Scrooge which was awesome. The safari was amazing, and the animals are beautiful. Really loved the performances. The service was also great!
I loved the avatar rides! They are amazing! I 10/10 recommend it!Now there is a decent amount of walking but hey you get your steps in and they have people like KEVIN walking around along with a few other characters! Y all are in for a amazing surprise when y all check out the avatar rides!
Always a great place to visit, especially with young children. Try to use fast pass when possible for the major attractions. Very enjoyable and relaxing.
Simply amazing. Disney is by far the best theme park company and it shows. While going in December is not always a great idea due to the crowds. Animal kingdom is the park where you feel less constrained. Awesome rides, great shows and the new Pandora area is simply amazing.
Was great to be back at Animal Kingdom. People are not fully physically distancing though-so be aware of that. Even cast members do not physically distance -especially from one another which is kindof frustrating. The markers on the ground in lines is definitely helpful though. Also, it is nice to be able to pin trade even though it is a little strange and not available as much as before.
This park is very beautiful, the best attraction is avatar, but I don't recommend you go in and see rafiky, don't waste your time, it's good boring, some things already need urgent remodeling, they are old attractions.
Always a pleasure going to Animal Kingdom! My favorite Disney park! Flight of passage is amazing and the Kilimanjaro Safari is very educational and fun. Food at both Africa and Asia, especially Tusker House/ Yak and Yeti, is phenomenal! You'll have a great time there!
