Typically Disney. Pay lots for a little. This is the best of Park, in my opinion, of all the parks I visited. Unless you find seating on a ledge or rock, you're standing the whole day. The only relief comes when eating average food at way high prices. Save your money here and go on 3 other vacations to reasonable places.

Animal Kingdom is simply magical and so wonderfully created.
The Tree of Life is absolutely mind blowing and not forgetting the world of Pandora. Wow just wow.
Being able to see animals roam in their open enclosures is magnificent.
The only negative is that there are no cooling off areas unless you go into a Merch shop, restaurant etc so on a hot day like today 16.8.18 you struggle to stay out of the heat so take plenty of water.

I did a solo trip here! I cried when I was leaving! The most amazing day ever! The Avatar ride was worth the wait! Pizzafari gluten free Pizza and Starbucks were amazing! I bought my Disney Monopoly and Dominoes as well as things for my nieces and nephew as well as those gold Minnie ears for me!

Awesome park. Not as many "big kid rides" as some of the other parks but some very fun ones. Get a fast pass for avatar. 260 min wait at 8am. Fun park and a bit more relaxing than the other parks.

Never went as a child so I was excited to take our daughter when she was at a good age. Animal Kingdom was definitely a good choice. Our first day was Magic Kingdom and while we could have spent another day there, I think we re glad we went to Animal Kingdom the next day instead. This place is so well detailed some set pieces look very real. Tons of animals and a cool little safari tour with a bit of action sprinkled in. Kids love it, lots of walking so be prepared, it s good for you anyway.

Obviously worth a visit, just time it right so it s not super busy.

While Pandora is one of my favorite parts of Disney, there isn't too much else here to write home about. Having parts of a park this new make others seem even more dated. Check out Pandora if you get a chance though

Kevin! Crowds a couple of days before Christmas at AK. Few fast passes available. This was a last-minute trip and was unable to secure fastpasses prior to trip. I chose to do a animal kingdom after hours event so that I could enjoy the park nearly empty. I was then able to ride Pandora's flight of passage a couple of times with no waiting unlike this daytime photo where there was hardly any room to maneuver.

The park is very nice, but Disney really needs capacity control for their Orlando parks. We waited almost four-hours in line for Avatar, even though we arrived 10 minutes BEFORE the park opened! Never again!!!

I love the atmosphere and environment in this park, especially in Pandora. I also loved the strange alien food in Avatar land. Flight of Passage is definitely a MUST DO, it's beyond anything else I've ever experienced.

We were mostly there for Pandora and boy was it a dream world brought to life after dark and scenic garden vistas and floating mountain amazement in the day time. But honestly every section we went to had great things to do or breathtaking shows like rivers of light.

We attended today (23rd november)... it was very busy (the universal, SeaWorld and busch garden parks have all been empty)... minimum queue times at animal kingdom were 25-30 minutes for anything... as with all disney parks you cant pay for fast passes or additional features (feeding/ getting close to animals) which to me is a massive disappointment considering you can at universal and SeaWorld/ busch gardens... we queue for 3 hours and 15 minutes for the avatar flight of passage ride. Despite the sign on the front and app saying it would be 2 hours... so it was an hour n 15 minutes incorrect which was extremely disappointing as when we realised we we're already 2 hours deep!... the ride itself was also not that good and very basic/ not a personal experience either. The safari ride was enjoyable but more up close encounters wouldnt go a miss... we booked a fast pass for Everest mountain (the only one available when we booked 2 days before which was 5.40pm)... unless you plan your days months and months in advance expect for not get a fast pass (pathetic system)... the only real good feature disney employs is the picture system. If you're looking for somewhere nice to eat without booking(again normally very busy and booked up) then the place in pandora is tasty and of good value.

Don't go! Not a Disney experience. Rude staff, dirty, horrible lines (2 to 4 hours)...you'll be lucky to ride 4 or 5 all day. All they want to do is sell you nasty food and cheap trinkets. And if you need handicap assistance, forget it. Safari ride was only worthwhile exhibit. Quality of rides was not up to Disney standard...Universal is much better. Plus over-priced with a premium charge when they should discount for overcrowding.

Animals, conservation, a few good rides, attractions & shows. Could use a few more rides. Maybe Disney has plans for more in the future? The Lion King show is top notch! Bug's Life is fun. Dinosaur is a 4-wheeling, jerking ride in the dark which leaves one a little disappointed with the Disney magic. Same with Na'vi River. I was expecting the brilliance of glowing color like in Avatar, the movie. It wasn't there. It certainly was colorful but not glowing. Overall, Animal Kingdom is cool.

Try to go to Yak and Yeti, I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Nachos! Don't miss the safari and Dinosaur. My daughters loved Expedition Everest and were able to ride it over and over in the single rider line. Every land is awesome but Africa is my favorite. The street drum band are so much fun and can get even the biggest stick in the mud to participate.

This is a great Disney park that has evolved over the years to provide a diverse and enjoyable theme park experience. For me the stars remain the animals mostly enjoyed through the Kilimanjaro Safaris. The whole atmosphere in Harambe feels exotic. Pandora is the newest attraction here and the imagineers have done a great job creating a beautiful visual experience. Overall the park has a great mixture of nature, thrill rides, great shows (don't miss the Lion King) and good food choices. Street entertainment is excellent. Allow enough time to really enjoy this park.

If it wasn't for Avatar exhibit, which is a real rush, it was a miserable experience. Waited 2 1/2 hours in line for safari ride. Was so miserable! Lion king was ok. Not going back to this one.

I want to give a shout to Ms.Sarah who was our Disney cast member at Kali River Rapids, she helped me find my cell phone that was lost in one of the boats, her attitude and swift action was something hospitality companies aspire to but seldom achieve, it's Disney and this goes on to prove why they reign Supreme! Thank you Sarah from Kali River Rapids, you are amazing!

This is a great park. If you plan on riding Flights of Passage get a Fast Pass or take advantage of Magic Hours. I rode it during Magic Hours and got on quickly; however, the wait was up to 180 minutes when I left.

We had an amazing time here. Our favorites were Kali Rapids and the safari. The Avatar rides are also very good, make sure to block them using your FastPass 2 months in advance. The food we sampled around the park was also very good.

My personal favorite Disney Park!!! For those young and beyond. I have a 16yr & 14yr old. They absolutely love it as do I and Dad. Safari is a must, Mt. Everest, and the Avatar flight . The whole park is AMAZING! BEAUTIFUL and rich in animal spirit... the shows and entertainment are awesome!

Animal kingdom hits all your senses.. the sounds of diff music.. the foods are out of this world ( I love yak and yeti) the air feels misty and fresh.. the smell is the same. It's just absolutly beautiful. I hight recommend the lion king show.. its spectacular !

This is my favorite out of all four parks. I love animals and I love the zoo so this is like heaven for me! There are so many different animals and so many fun rides. There are TWO shows at night, the tree lighting and the rivers of light. Both are gorgeous. Rainforest cafe is delicious!!

Animal Kingdom was great, but has always been one of my lesser enjoyed parks, personally. That's not to discredit the park, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in it. Maybe it's because I've been on all the rides since I was a kid or that being more of a zoo than a pure theme park just doesn't grab my attention as much anymore, but I'm still glad I got to visit again.

We came just at opening. Only for the Avatar ride (as we park hopped) our experience there was amazing!!! Loved the whole avatar experience. From the ambience to the ride right down to the staff. Disney did a fantastic job with this one. Will be looking forward to our next Disney vacation!

Haven t been to animal kingdom since I was a little kid and honestly after being a pass holder for two years this is definitely one of my favorite parks.

I was surprised to have gotten fast passes for two of the popular rides. But apparently it was a great off season day to come.

Enjoy the park if you don t have fast passes for Avatar there is so much to see and enjoy. Make sure you try the make your own protein bowls in Pandora.

Very sad , mask have to be worn while in line,on the rides and walking the park. Seen only 1place under a top with few tables to sit where you could remove your mask but not air conditioning was horrible especially being 90 degrees out side. Lines were of course long anywhere from an hour to two hours. Restaurants are by reservation, only 1 accessible unreserved food place with a crazy long wait line but it had limited tables so many people sitting on the hot ground eating. Snack carts had drinks, chips, popcorn and ice creams no food. Of course no shows or characters. The happiest place on earth looked like the saddest place on the planet.

My favorite park by far. Love to be surrounded by nature and different cultures. The current wait times are so short, there's barely a line. If there's a good time to visit all parks is now.

Went a few years ago before Covid happened and I wanted to watch the river boat show I had do use the bathroom and was a few minutes late. I was going walk in to the sitting area and a cast member held her hand up and pushed me back it was rude

Such a fun park! Avatar flight of passage is a huge must do. Other must do s are lion king show, Kilimanjaro safari( worth the wait ) (try going around 5:30 for a good view of all the animals), Nemo show, dinosaur on the discovery side, and the animals exhibits. So much nature, plenty of seating for lunch if you bring your own food or drinks, a water ride ( so bring a change of clothes if you don t like to be walking around wet) and beautiful picture spots . My favorite park
between them all !

Visited today to ride the Avatar. I haven't been here since it has opened and just the size of the area and the scenery blew me away. I had a FastPass to get on the ride that took us approximately 5 min to board. GREAT RIDE!!

I think this was one of our favorite paid, but it's tough to say. We were here 3 times and had a different - always great - experience every time. Pandora was seriously beautiful and I thought the food and drinks there were good enough to go back for. Our group also really liked Flaming Tree and Yak and Yeti for food.

We went to the shows for Lion King and Up and both were great! Very entertaining for kids and adults. Plus, the air conditioning for Lion King is awesome!

While Everest is an old favorite for rides, our group really liked the safari and Flight of Passage. Make sure to grab fast passes!

Awesome park for the whole family. Things changed a bit from the last time I visited this park, but I ended up enjoying the park a lot more than I did in the past. My kids are all grown now, so I didn't have to look after them as I did in the past. Lots of walking, but it was all worth it at the end of the day. I can't wait to go back just to have some more fun and do everything else I did not have a chance to do at this park. Be sure to go and have some fun also. For the amount of money I paid to access this park. I think it was all worth it at the end of the day.

The safari tour was amazing the experience is one of a kind. This wasn't the 1st time we had taken this ride but it was the 1st time we encountered giraffes like this, definitely coming back next time.

We really enjoyed the Pandora The World of
Avatar area. The lines can get long but the rides are incredible. Even if you don't want to go on the rides, you've got to walk through the area and see how amazing it is.

My favorite of all the Disney World parks. I wish I could give it more stars. Love the rides, shoes, food, and atmosphere. Pandora is an amazing addition. I HIGHLY recommend the Avatar ride... worth the wait.

i love this park but i m writing this especially because of staff training is just purely wonderful. the girl i ve encountered with her name was Karlie, and i was in need of help and despite her position as a custodian she came and rushed to help me right away. i really appreciate the staff training and how professional they are beyond management.

Amazing experience. Avatar section of the park is amazing!! The boat ride and the flight simulator was well worth the wait.
Safari was excellent, safari guide was an excellent young lady, with an awesome sense of humor made the safari experience very enjoyable for the family.

I have only been to two of the parks: Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I preferred Animal. Enjoyed the vegetation throughout and old world feel in certain portions. Loved the Everest Expedition roller coaster. Navi River ride was cool and good for the whole family. Had my 1 year old grand son with me. I enjoyed a good hot dog at a kart vendor, however, the food options here seemed far superior to the Magic Kingdom. This park seemed more relaxed to me.

Favorite Disney park! The new Pandora area is beautiful! Flight of passage is the best ride in any Disney park. Navi river isn't worth waiting more than 30 minutes for. Expedition Everest and many other attractions are top of the line.

There s a pandemic going on and their lines are still two hours long, particularly for the Avatar attractions. Make sure to put your walking shoes on! It s a great experience to see and try out if you haven t before. I actually do like the rides more at this park compared to others because they feel like they have more adult options. It was really easy to get into the park with your passes ready and we got lucky with parking.

Lots of sights to see, but - of course, more kid focused than I'd prefer. Really loved Pandora and the flight of banshees simulator at animal kingdom. Also, always an expensive adventure/outing.

This is the best park in Disney's portfolio! By far has the best rides offering different experiences from safaris to dinosaurs. The food is good and represents the different ethnic areas well. I highly recommend this park if I could only had time for one park.

Awesome and enjoyable experience with the family. All the sights and sounds of Animal Kingdom are worth seeing. The kids liked walking through the animal trek and seeing the birds, tiger, and water buffalo. My son and daughter loved going through Dino land USA and playing in "the bone yard". Make reservations to have lunch at "The Yak and Yeti", we have eaten there multiple times and are always impressed with the service and great food.

My favorite Disney theme park. Full of life during the day and night, it's just different! Their decorative, scenic "countries" give you an actual glimpse of what the actual ambience of these area. I didnt get this same feel from epcot which is supposed to be where you visit different countries. Animal kingdom, we shall meet again!!

An absolutely amazing park! Stepping into the land of Pandora really felt like walking through the TV. And the way they simulated the bioluminescent plant life is just stunning. So surreal to walk through.

Definitely a great park with lots of world-class rides and attractions.

Expedition Everest is a medium sized but great roller coaster. Vekoma nailed it on this ride.
The Kilimanjaro Safari is another great experience.
Avatar - Flight of Passage is insane and awesome. Although the line was outrageously long even for the disability line.

The ride "Flight of Passage" inspired by the movie Avatar, was probably the best ride in the whole theme park. It is all in 3D and have a virtual reality feel to it. You can actually feel the Banshee breathing as you are riding the giant bird like creature. I give this ride 5 stars....a must do while at Disney

This is probably one the my favorite parks. Watching the wild Macaws fly around the park, to seeing all the animals is truly a magical experience. The kids loved the Finding Nemo Musical. The singers were amazing and the show was just so entertaining and they even put their own little one liners in it for the adults.

Everest was a fun ride. Going backwards in the dark is a unique experience. And the Bugs Life 3d show is pretty awesome and the 3d effects are fun for the kids. From a stink bug letting a stinky fart, to bugs crawling under your seat, its fun for all ages.

We had a blast. We were able to ride and experience everything we wanted in just one day at the park. We also were able to eat in Satu'li Canteen and the food was amazing considering it's a quick service. The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is also amazing and we recommend it for sure as something to try.

Even though the lines can be long and the wait tortuous, you can't go to Animal Kingdom and not experience Avatar Flight of Passage. It's a must. And you have to stay til dark to walk through Pandora.

Disney parks are all magical, I am a grown up who goes to Disney every other year. I have been here over seven times and the experience just keeps getting better each time we go. I would give this place ten stars if I could.

This is my second favorite theme park after Epcot. The open area and design of the park is incredible and the attractions are great. The only downside is the food, in all the available food stands and restaurants there was only ONE that sold fresh fruit and only a few items. Not everyone wants to eat salty food or burgers.
