Food was delicious! Decent server, but never received corn bread with meal. Very upsetting.

Ribs where great. Brisket was really juicy but could have been seasoned a bit more, still great. Pulled pork was also good. Great service. Will come back if I'm in the area.

Awesome place! It is busy and it is loud, but damn is the food good! It's a neat/lively atmosphere. Good beer and great food. Definitely good BBQ. I will go back!

The staff were really awesome and the brisket, pull pork and ribs are really good too, but if you go there make sure you also try the fried green tomatoes :)

Brisket was very fat. Usually this place rocks. Never been disappointed but today, not so much.

Meat just melts in your mouth off the bone. Casual food done masterfully.

This is the place for barbeque. Quick lunch of beef brisket sandwich plus mac and cheese. Fantastic.

Dinosaur is a must visit for any out of towner looking to get some great barbeque. The sauce is incredible and it really separates itself from any other kind of barbeque. This place is a Syracuse staple and one of the things the city is known for.

The food here was really well-prepared, our server was really kind, and to top it all off there was live music! I don't even like BBQ and would definitely come back to this place; I really enjoyed my dinner here.

Great place to bring friends. Entertainment four days a week or more. But food is not the best bb I've had lately.

Visited Syracuse for a few weeks and tried multiple restaurants in the area. This was by the far the best place we went to. Amazing food, amazing beer, and amazing atmosphere. Truly an great place overall. Get there early, they are always busy!

Everything is excellent. Live music is awesome too.

If you like barbecue - Dinosaur iis the place in Syracuse. There's always a crowd and live music on weekends. Love the deviled eggs. We had 2 of the combos, so most of the combo choices. The ribs, the wings, the brisket, all were amazing. The shrimp and pulled pork, super delish. Service was great. Just a fun place. If you are going any evening, expect a wait.

Family deal was really a good deal. Great food for the price.

Wow! The food is terrific, the only reason it didn t get a 5 Star is the bathrooms were wet/dirty. Otherwise great food, great staff.

Been pretty disappointed the past few times I ve done takeout. Skimpy end ribs, a single dried out sausage and some slightly undercooked chicken for my Tres Hombres. Fallen off as a consistently excellent BBQ place. Keep expectations in check, not the same place it was 10 years ago.

The best food ever. Waitresses were friendly, and sensed we were from out of town. They helped us select the right amount of food for our table. When the food arrived it was out of this world. Will return next time we are back this way.

A Syracuse staple! You can t go wrong with the Mac & cheese!

My meal was the catfish, mac/cheese, and French fries. Hubby had 1/2 rack of ribs,coleslaw, and beans. He liked his, me not so much. Mac/cheese tasted like rubber, most of the french fries were burnt, and the catfish (3 tiny strips) you will just have to look at the pictures. They couldn't spare any catfish. Cornbread tasted like plain yellow cake no corn taste at all.

Driving by Syracuse from Boston on the way to Toronto and made hubby stop and take the kids here for BBQ so they could experience what I call a real rib joint.

We arrived at approximately 8:00 pm and had to wait for a seat. About 30-35 mins. Faster than they had said the,approximate wait time would be.

We ordered ribs, chicken wings, simple appetizer plate, poutine (so strange to see a unique Canadian make that Quebec food item on an american menu) and a couple of other items.

My kids inhaled the food. They loved it. As we were finishing dinner a live band started to play. It was a Tuesday night so it was an added experience for my kids. A nice treat.

Will definitely return, when driving by Syracuse in the future.

I was there to attend a banquet, food was plentiful and tasty. One suggestion, would be to add more speakers for the audience in back to hear better.

Food was excellent. Service was outstanding. Sarah was a joy to have for a server. Would go back in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work.

Had the Jerk and Pulled Chicken Sandwich with Black beans and rice. Nice and spicy, almost needed a fork, because of how full of meat it was. Others at my table had the pork bar-b-que, and all agree, it was fantastic.

Dinosaur always aims to please! On a rare occasion they don't they totally care enough to make it right. Love their food, catering is great. Wish parking was more available.

Food was good. Servers were nice and smart. Just a bit noisy for me. Place is kinda crowded: tables too close to each other.

Good food, great atmosphere. Very, very crowded. Felt overpacked everytime I've gone. Would not recommend if you're claustrophobic or aren't okay with crowds. This being Saturday nights.

Great Q, usually have to wait awhile, but that's gotta tell you it's great. If you're in a hurry order carry out and eat it in the car! They do it right! Usually no waiting before 4.

In this pub I tried the most delicious steaks in my life! I love to go to this place with friends!

The sauce was amazing. The wait was long but they communicated with us really well. It was well worth the wait. Our waitress was really good. Kept our drinks full :)

Service was good, the food was not. We got the ribs. They were ok, but all of the sides we tried were not good at all. They do have reasonable prices though.

Great BBQ. Go there whenever I'm in Syracuse. They also have amazing Mac and Cheese, cornbread, and greens. Terrific staff. Very little wait typically for how busy it is.

Over rated ordered the sweetheart special ribs where ok coleslaw was delicious cornbread disgusting Mac and cheese bland beans bland they don t know how to season and the bbq sauce is wack cucumber salad ok wouldn t order from here again

It's a great place for bbq! You can't go to Syracise without visiting Dinosaur BBQ! Make sure you stop bu, good ambience, very busy, and the have bands who play every weekday nights and Saturdays. They also have a bar, and picnic table seating outside. Food tastes good and they have a lot of items in their menu.

It gets very crowded, but they're wonderfully flexible. Grabbed a spot outside with no issue, ordered at the bar with no complaints (usually servers are so stressed that they demand you get out the way); just love the vibe coming off the staff. Food was fun too, of course.

You can smell the smoke once you walk in the door! The food here is great! The meat had smoke rings on ribs and beef brisket! Meat was perfect not dry! Highly recommend this place!

We arent known for our BBQ up north, but this place is legit. From the smoked brisket, to the ribs, to the chicken and their burgers everything I have had here over the years does not disappoint. Even the sides like mac and cheese, corn bread, mashed potatoes, mac salad, and beans, they are all top notch. They make their own brand of bbq sauces which are unbelievable. The bar always has a ton of great beers on tap and in the bottle. They do live music which is usually pretty good. The service is always fast and friendly. If you're in syracuse this is a must visit. There is typically a wait, especially on a weekend during dinner time, but it's well worth it.

Best BBQ outside of Texas. Great people, great food, great prices. Right now they've made lots of outdoor seating options available, and have a great take out system.

Catering. Catering. Catering. Everyone knows about Dinosaur BBQ's savory eats. I discovered this past year that their catering staff is unmatched! I used Dinosaur BBQ for two 150-person events and was blown away at how prompt, professional, and thorough the staff was. White jackets, white table cloths, servers, the whole kit and kaboodle. The cost was not as much as I thought it might be. And ... there was a ton of food leftover. Believe it or not, the Dinosaur BBQ packed the leftovers. Packed 'em! All of 'em! The cleanup went seamlessly too. I just can't say enough good stuff about the catering. If you haven't tried it yet, go ahead and take it to the next level. You will be blown away too!

Overall very good. The food came out quickly but the waitress was rather unfriendly. We got barbecue wings that were delicious. My wife got a philly cheesesteak and mashed and both were very good. I got the Dino burger. It was cooked perfectly but was rather bland. Sides were fresh cut fries that were excellent and Mac and Cheese that had some sprinkled on it that was just too spicy. Ranch dressing that we got with the wings was kind of spicy too. Never had spicy ranch so it was a bit weird. Will definitely go back but kinda wish they go a bit easier on the spicy stuff.

On the food, everything was good, especially the ribs and brisket. The chicken was average. Their dinsaour sauce goes very well with all of the meat and makes the food even awesome.
For the sides, we like the mac and cheese.

Nice place but in the summer, the lines are very long to get in. Other than that, its a good place to get good food. A little expensive but worth the price for the quality of food you receive and the amount of food you get.

I've tried barbeque all over. Texas, Kansas Tennessee, Norrh Carolina. Probably other places I've thankfully forgotten. None were better than the Dinosaur. Pulled pork: amazing. Beef brisket: mouth wateringly delicious. Great sides. My favorites are the barbeque beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. If you still have room for dessert, the the ice box cake (or something like that. The waitress will know what you're asking for.) Great service by efficient staff with the kind of sass and attitude you'd expect from a roadside barbecue joint. Super busy at the usual times, so expect to wait. You'll be glad you did.

We ordered gluten free lunch & the waitress brought the chicken sandwich with wheat bread. When I reminded her of gluten free meals we ordered she took it back & right back out it without breads. She just stole the bread. There was no other substitute at all. Terrible!

Had a movie magic experience here. Out to eat wth my partner. We were able to bring our doggies to the outside dining tables. Live singer who was good. Service was excellent and the food was even better We are in the bbq business too so that rating is heavy.

When we heard we could have Dino bbq cater our wedding it was a no brainer! My husband and I are huge fans of Dino bbq and have been eating there for years. First off the pricing is incredible. Other caterers we looked at the pricing is absolutely outrageous and we saw no point in spending that much money! The pricing was so appreciated. The amount of food was insane! So much food everyone was stuffed! The service was outstanding! Everyone was so friendly. We also did the open bar and when we inquired about them staying longer they could not but left what alcohol they legally could which was perfect!! The communication beforehand was great as we had lots of questions and details. They made sure that everything was correct and what we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious as expected! I would recommend them for catering any event especially weddings! It went perfectly with our laid back vibe. Thanks Dino!!

Amazing! Wonderful staff! It was packed so we got take out! It was super fast and Great value and loved the ribs! Get the cajun corn (not on the menu) so yummy!

Love this bbq joint. Awesome interior, the staff is friendly, and the food is superb. I have only ever gotten the 1/2 bird with two sides. The juiciest chicken I ve ever eaten. My family has had the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, and chicken wings which were all delicious. If you ever find yourself in Syracuse, you best stop in.

We , my husband and I went to Dinosaur Boneyard . We went to have dinner and listen to the Beetle Street rockers. We watched the band help kick off the Blues Fest. Great food and great service.

Absolutely crazy tastey food! Slightly rough round the edges so a jeans and tshirt kinda place. Lovely friendly staff. Baby friendly. Definitely worth the visit

Solid bbq and possibly even better atmosphere. A place you want to experience at least once when visiting Syracuse.

The smells upon entering began to stir up hunger pains..the space is lively and efficient early on a Sunday. Syracuse has a hit in this eatery. The flavors were fantastic.The experience is surely worth a return.I hope to hear music next time

A Syracuse staple. Good Music and some good smoke on their meat. Always a crowd so expect a little bit of a wait. You can see the city mayor eating next to some of Syracuse's blue collar brethren.
