Ordered a ribeye medium rare but came out medium well. Steak was thin and burnt around the edges. Not much flavor. It was just ok. Don t think I ll come back.

Nice food. Very courteous staff. Super quantity too.
Service was awesome food so good had long line but I was invited in and sat at the bar was out of there in
45 mins
Try the Australian lamb chops. So good, it doesn't need the (delicious) chimichurri sauce. Hard working servers do their best to take care of each table; tip with aloha! Ribeye is also tasty, and I love the molasses bread. This dependable place is a family favorite.
Perfect dinner date...steak was cooked to perfection. Dennis our waiter was awesome, best service we've had in a long time.
The wait for a table without reservation wasn't as long as they had quoted but the time for food to come out was fairly long. We got our appetizers and then waited another 45 minutes for our entrees and they forgot part of mine, and that part took another 20 minutes to come out. Server was really nice and friendly, apologetic about the long wait, gave us a free cookie for the mix up. Overall, a very good experience.
First time here and felt comfortable immediately. Great staff and equal service; attentive without being clingy. The interior had a very midwest rancher feel with well used details, but not overly so. It set the mood for a good steak.
I was surprised the prices were more affordable than I anticipated. A long line at a nice restaurant usually denotes one of two possibilities; the place is an expensive, trendy fad, or the quality is excellent. Hint, it was the latter! My sirloin was tender and juicy and thick. I'm not sure how they made the mashed potatoes but they weren't plain or common, they were delicious and light but still hearty. Hard to explain, just go, order, and try them. You're welcome. The broccoli was still crisp after cooking and had a delightful aftertaste, unlike most I've tried. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I'll be back...and soon.
Good food at reasonable prices. Service could have been faster though.
I always have a great time at Cattle Company, the service is great, the atmosphere uplifting, and the food is delicious
Honestly, the best rib eye steak I think I've ever had!!! The wait staff there are excellent as well. My wife and I are hooked!!
Work as a lounge host back in the 1980 -early 90 's was the best place I have worked at ,pay and benefits, co workers and management ,the restraunt was located in Chicago Ridge.Il .
Great ribeye~
Portions are more than a grown man can eat.
They also often have coupons!^^
Good food large portions good service reservations should be made or you have a long wait. Drinks are spendy but worth it.
My husband's burger looked good but onion rings were left off. My steak was overcooked (well done instead of medium) and dry and not much flavor besides pepper. And the service was lacking. Ran out of water and had to eventually ask for a refill, then after the second time I just drank my husband's water that he didn't drink. Really didn't see the waitress after ordering, except to flag her down for the water and then the check.
love this restaurant and they have great coupons to make it more reasonable
I was expecting a lot more from this place and was severely disappointed. We got our appetizer before we even got our drinks, not sure why an apple juice would take that long.. The actual appetizer looked old and had stale disgusting crushed chips. When we finally got our drinks, that was it, the server never refilled our waters. We didn t get bread until 10 mins before our entrees came out, and the entrees took an hour so that s saying something. When we got our food the portions were unbelievably small. My husbands food was cold. My food was crammed on a tiny plate with no room to even cut my steak, while everyone else got large plates?? My baked potato was obviously cooked earlier, let cool and then reheated. It was the most disappointing meal I ve ever paid for. $100 I will never get back. I will not be returning. Don t waste your time or your money, not worth it at all.
Best to go during lunch time or make a reservation if you don't want to wait in line for 30 - 40 plus. Food hardly ever disappointed. I had lamb special cooked at the right temperature but some how the outside was a little burn. The side dish was great. Potato au gratin was delish. Taste like Mac and cheese but muchhh better. Service was great.
Waiter was kind and attentive... The food however tasted like overpriced freezer section meals. I would rather go to McDonald's. The only reason this review gets two stars was the waiter. The water taste like dirty tap water. My medium rare ribeye was dry. I wouldn't recommend this "steakhouse" to my worst enemy.
This is one of the best places I ve been . But be careful , Meals are amazing and super big . Love serves and food . Place to go
We will have to go back again and give this place another try. I feel like our visit today may not have had the A-Team on shift. When we walked in our hostess was less than friendly.. maybe because it was 3pm and she left shortly after we arrived. But she barely made eye contact and had no smile or interest in us. After we were seated by the new hostess, our waitress Jocelyn (I think), arrived to go over the menu and take our orders. She did a pretty good job seeing as she was working the floor by herself. On to the food! Our spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips was unappealing and not fresh. Some of the chips were stale and the dip almost reminded us of the TGI Fridays' version but not as good. Chef Mike (microwave) overcooked it this time. I don't mean that as an insult, I'm fine if it was microwave prepared, but it was not presentable or tasty. Our entrees looked much better! We both had house salads and fully-loaded baked potatoes. We did ask for more ranch because the salads were pretty big. The potato was delicious, but our meat lacked flavor. My wife had the porterhouse porkchop and added grilled onions and mushrooms. She said most of the flavor cane from the small dollop of garlic butter. My medium-well ribeye was not med-well from end to end, and it definitely needed more flavor. Taking into consideration that steak houses have to accommodate many different palates, a little more sea salt, cracked pepper, and garlic powder during cooking would go over just fine. Positive notes: Jocelyn kept us hydrated with lemonade and water. She was great at small talk even though she was super busy, and our strawberry cheesecake was delicious. We will be back, we'll just plan our visit later in the evening next time.
We have been here several times! The food has always been good, the Caesar salad is AMAZING, and the zucchini appetizer is great! But when I tell you the service is horrible... It sucks!! We have never been when it was busy, even on weekends it isn't crowded, and we have never had good service. Their social skills are almost non existent and It seems like it is a requirement to be slow at everything!! It always takes them so long to greet our table and grab drink orders and then to return is beyond that! Their food is good, but it doesn't surpass their antisocial, extremely slow service! We always seem to try and give them another chance, although it is almost unenjoyable because of the service, I don't believe we will be back.
When my husband and I moved to Oahu for his job, I got a job here at the Cattle Company. They became like family to me. The staff was so much fun, and kind. I love the food and ate there every week, and never got sick of it. Now I am back in California; I miss you all. Hope that you are all happy, and well.
Garlic mash and mushroom and onions salty and paid extra for it. Other than that everything was great.
Lehua gave great service and the food was great too even though they ran out of mashed potatoes.
Open Table app allows for easy reservations at Cattle Company. The food, as always, was very goodand cooked to order. The steaks porterhouse pork chops, salads, soups, appetizers were all very good. We're had the wagon wheel sampler platter to start. We were very hungry lol. We used a camp fire for two coupon for $50. It is the best deal anywhere for the excellent quality of food. So I had the sampler platter, Rib eye steak, salad and soup for my sides and the big mountain fudge cake with ice cream. That cake is killer with the hot fudge. Our server was very nice and this is the Pearl City Cattle Company. The parking is more then adequate with many stalls. The place is clean and the rest of the staff are very courteous. There are lots of seats and tables but it's better to make reservations, they do however take walk ins with no problem. You just might wait a little longer than a reservation. When I go here I am never dissatisfied. They also have a bar and televisions for sports days. Their lunches are very reasonable and their burgers are made to take half home for lunch the next day. They're big. Go check it out, you won't be sorry.
Great dining experience with good for for a decent price
Went to enjoy appetizers and the football game. Food and service were great.
Food wasn't very good. Server could of been happier.
Dinners might be good, however stear clear of the afternoon pupus (appetizers for those of you not from hawaii). Steak qeusidillia has next to no steak. When I opened 3 slices and showed an employee, I was told that the portions are weighed...so I guess the complaint goes to the management. Got Beef? Where in Blazing Steaks is the steak?
Great food, friendly staff and the atmosphere is a western type.
The servicer was awesome, he was on it didn't have to ask for water, he just brought it, didn't have to ask for drinks refills he saw it was low next thing we know he bringing a refill, also the food was "ONO" overall my experience was great...
The wait is long without a reservation but the food is worth it. Good service and a friendly atmosphere. The campfire feast is the cheapest, especially with a coupon for a discounted price. It is a lot of food though, so expect to take home leftovers. No real complaints aside from the very long wait to be seated.
I ve been coming here since I was a kid I love the food and if you bring the add from the paper it s a great deal. Staff is nice and I like the atmosphere. Only issue I may have is sometimes if I order medium it s either cooked under or over and to me it s not a big deal, and the staff would totally fix it if I did care but that s the only issue I have and that s why I can t give it a full 5 but either than that I love this place
OMG this place is freaking amazing best food I have ever had and it was cooked just like we all asked.. it was worth the money... If you want good food and great service this is the place
Dined in at the Pearl City location. Our server Bryant was very fast and very attentive. He made sure our order was put in immediately and his suggestions were superb! He is the best we've had at this location. The food was delicious and hot, especially the dessert that we fought over. Excellent food, service, and server. Excellent job Bryant!
Meal was okay, lobster very small, shrimp small also and over cooked, hard. Salad was good and the server was friendly.
Steak yummy! 3 occupants. 45 min wait so decided to go to bar seating. Used Yelp free lobster tail with purchase of steak. Appetizer must get: Baked spinach artichoke dip $11.50 served on hot plate yummy. Appetizer must pass: Jumbo shrimp cocktail $12.95 boring. Steak: Top sirloin center cut 8 oz. $24.50 2 sides mash potatoes and steak soup (tastes like Campbell's canned soup) lobster tail tiny and boring. Dessert: sky high mud pie not amazing $7.99
I made a reservation for twelve three weeks ago. I had specific requests as to seating and server. I also called and left a VM the week before my reservation to confirm. No one ever called me back [though the recording says they will call you back] and no one from cattle company called to confirm my reservation as they have done in the past.
I call back again and speak to Rob who confirms my reservation and asks me to move my reservation time from 1800 to 1745 to accommodate seating. Ok no problem.
I call cattle company one hour before my reservation time and I'm told by the hostess "we'll seat you wherever." Excuse me what? What is the point of making a reservation when all you get told is "we'll seat wherever." I ask for a manager and I get Mark. Mark is useless and unhelpful. Mark tells me "we have other reservations and we're full." Then why take my reservation, why did I confirm my reservation if Mark the manager is going to tell me they are full?
It's a great place to eat.
You always get value for your dollars.
Awesome staff always welcoming when you arrive. Their CAMPFIRE coupon is pretty filling for 2 a good deal look it up online or sign up on their app. Make reservations online for convinience. Love this place go there once a month.
The hostesses are horrible!! They are impolite and the restaurant was virtually deserted but they made us wait at least 20min for a table. For the price I expected better quality meat and taster food - very salty and flavorless. Only good thing was our server who made the experience a lil better
The food was burnt but the service was great hats off to them for informing the manager and cooks about our burnt food
Great dinner. Prime rib was excellent and their happy hour has some decent options
Staff very friendly and attentive. Steaks cooked to order, soup n salad outstanding, great family dining experience.
Lucked out and got to sit in the bar for happy hour. Feels good to be remembered by the wait staff. Great coupon specials. Yummy drinks and food...
Party of 6 . Sat within 10 min. Ordered biggest steak . 24 oz prime rib and 16 oz ribeye. Got food quick. Like 15 min. Steak came out med rare instead as of medium well like requested. Prime rib as well. Other than that all was good.
I only come here because my mom likes their coupons. Sad to say for a steakhouse they don't know how to cook a steak. My mom and I both got the same ribeye steak campfire meal and we ordered it the same. Medium rare with mashed potatoes and brocolli. My steak was closer to medium well and mom's was still mooing. The broccoli was so soggy and mushy I couldn't eat it.
It would get a lower star rating but the staff has always been friendly and pleasant and I like the atmosphere.
The host and Mgr. Mike needs retraining...the gal was on the phone..never acknowledged 6 different parties upon getting off the phone confused who to help when we the customers had to tell her! Then Mgr Mike comes to front desk..instead of asking who's the next person he needs to help; he looks at a customer and wants to help the couple who just arrived..until I told he needs to help the prior customer who was there first!! The food NOT Good like before...mash potatoes was dry..steak salty and burnt...the only BLESSINGS was waitress Lehua who gave EXCELLENT service...definitely an ASSET to the company and customers!
Always a favorite. Prime rib & rib eye steak were delicious. Also had Caesar, yummy clam chowder, & the zucchini crisp & hot. Just wish there was one closer to town.
You are wasting your time ordering a burnt steak here. Wasting time ordering lemonade tasted like water with lemons. If you ask for water coz you are choking, you will die waiting for it.
Essentially a step above Outback Steakhouse. Prices are similar if not a little more expensive and the variety is different than Outback, so you dont get the sense that it the exact same thing.
This is still just a chain restaurant, so dont confuse its lack of other locations on island or different from mainland company name (Black Angus) to believe that this is a local Hawaiian place.
Campfire feast is a great deal. Had the wagon wheel sampler, prime rib, and a cowboy cookie for dessert.
We are baby mooning here in Oahu. I wanted a nice steak dinner. Emery, our waiter, was fantastic. He got us our exact order and was attentive.
The food on the other hand was not worth the price point at all. I had the cobb salad with filet mignon. I swear they just took all of the fatty trimmings and put it on my plate. Husband was equally disappointed with his steak. We left very confused why there was a 30+ minute wait time @ 7:30 on a Monday.
We bought and cooked steaks from Safeway last night. It was a third of the price and much better quality.
