By chance we had a quiet day at the zoo. Truly delicious! Seen all the animals and the little girl has had a great time!

Blijdorp Zoo has become more beautiful again. Every time I come there are changes that are good for the animals. Magnificent.

Fantastic zoo. Make sure you come from the spring; then it is warm enough for most animals and they appear sooner.

The weather was nice, many animals were outside again and were busy.

Just a very good zoo. Despite the cold (mid-February), there were still many animals to be seen and there were also many visitors. We were there for a birthday dinner and the service was very good. The food preceded appetizers, which is what goes on after watching animals for a few hours.

A good experience especially to see the chimpanzees...

They keep innovating, something has always changed and / or improved

This is a must visit place in Rotterdam, lot of species one will get to see. One can opt for day passes for cheaper options .

Yearly abbones always come here every month. And you can eat well there a bit expensive but you have that with a day out

We had a celebration of friends in Blijdorp with a tour of Blijdorp. The gate of Asia was super cozy. Nice location, tasty snacks etc. The tour was done by volunteer Ina. I enjoyed it. What an enthusiasm and love for the animals and the garden. She had so much to say. Was really nice afternoon. Thank you, Ina !!

It is a beautiful park but there were a lot of animals that we could not see ... they were on vacation.

Amazing if you visite Rotterdam you must visite the Zoo

Nice and big zoo with many kinds of animals. Some things need to be replaced. All in all, I had a nice day.

Great zoo! It's very large and has pretty much every kind of animal you can think of. Tickets are fairly cheap, especially for how long you spend there.

Hard to find something to eat. Apart from that, very nice place.

Pretty nicely set up diet garden. There is something of everything. One sign saying: "Sssst, don't let your children scream" is definitely not working. A huge noise in the Ocean area.

For me one of the best zoo's with above average animal focus.

Nice zoo where I have been coming for years. lots of play opportunities for the kids too. The toilets may be a bit cleaner.

Erg mooie dierentuin! We zijn er de hele dag geweest en nog steeds niet alles gezien. Vrij ruime verblijven, enorm veel planten, vind ik leuk.

Remains a beautiful experience with nowadays as triptych the triplets with the lions :-)

Very expensive, 20 euros for a 2 year old! Lots of the enclosures were closed and stinging nettles next to boards for children to play with. Very disappointing visit.

Very nice and beautiful zoo, highly recommended to do with or without children.

Cozy zoo where you can see plenty of animals even when the weather is bad and you can walk a lot dry. Indoor playground is therefore very pleasant! Bird show is great!

Great zoo ! A lot of different animals in 'nature like' spaces and nice little paths and extras for small kids to explore. Informative signs and games for the bigger kids.

A beautiful zoo with animals in their natural habitat. The Oceanium has been greatly modernized. Kudos to Blijdorp! More than worth a visit!!

Wel mooie dierentuin maar de grote dieren hebben erg weinig ruimte.
Daarnaast blijft de horeca achter op gebied van duurzaamheid! Nauwelijks of geen vegan eten.

Great zoo. With a subscription, just go for a walk and see new things

Active animals with a lot of variety. Educationally strong by placing clear signs + lots of extra reading material for those who want this. Don't underestimate the oceanarium! Very nicely set up in theme realm. Nice that we have chosen to place animals from different parts of the world. Put on good walking shoes. The trails are good and in general the park is also very clean. I do not always find the route logical and central meeting points are few, keep an eye on small children. Especially at fences where children can get through with their fingers, animals are curious and like to pick at it ....
We were there in Corona time, so the catering industry was not fully open. What we have eaten is fine. I didn't like the poffertjes, a bit tasteless.
If anyone likes trains then this zoo is also the place to be. A so-called train triangle has been made here and is very clearly explained under the viaduct. Children can see this triangle from the lookout tower in one of the many play areas.
Conclusion: Had a nice educational day, good for the pedometer where your own food would have been sufficient.

Nice zoo a pity that monkeys were sick but they will be better now

Always fun to visit Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam. Lots of exhibits to see and interesting up to date facts to read. Prices in the restaurants weren't over the top and the food was fresh and good. Staff were friendly.

It was a hot day, so many animals remained hidden under the shade. Furthermore, there were many eateries closed. Despite that, I still had a nice day.

Till this day my favorite zoo in the Netherlands. Really like the acquarium and the hyacinth macaw which is my favourite bird. they are amazing blue colour and were doing silly funny things its quite big zoo so be prepared to walk. you need around 4-5 hours to see everything

A really huge zoo, especially priced not expensive with such an offer. The animals all have such a great and large area. You can easily spend the whole day there.

Can take beautiful pictures despite the rain. Not busy at all !! Recommended to visit with less weather. You will see fewer animals .....

I love a zoo. I could spend all day there going between different exhibits. One of the best zoos I've been to.
