Blijdorp is the only zoo for me, came there as a small child and still comes with my own children

Too bad there was not so much choice for something to eat, otherwise very nice and cared for!

Nice Zoo for a day outing. It is separated in to specific flora-fauna zones such as - Arctic, Amazonia, Europa etc. There is also a small aquarium. Food items on the premises are a tad bit expensive. The zoo is well connected to the Rotterdam centre/station by bus number 33.

Am in doubt if I want to remain a member of the Friends Blijdorp Foundation. Beautiful animals and good stays, but the organization / communication worries me.

Zoo. Very nice and a lot of information about the animals.

It is and remains a beautiful animal park. Beautifully spacious and a lot of variation in animals. The caretakers do their best to keep the animals active. So enough movement with the animals and fun to see. Glad that the children are also actively involved in the zoo.Tour tours, quizzes, information boards. Very well done. It is always a pleasure to be in Blijdorp.

Beautiful manicured zoo with all the trimmings and what struck us very enthusiastic staff . only the signs to the park would be better .iets with no or something.

continue to innovate, with an eye for space and more "freedom" for the animals. clean and wonderfully arranged walking around with enough points for relaxation for the children

Diergaarde is divided into theme parks. M.b.v. the app can easily find your way and info.

Blijdorp is a beautiful zoo that is constantly being renewed. Find only the changing places for the little ones among us less practical, too few and often difficult to find.

One of the best zoos I have ever been to. Oceanarium is by far one of my favourites!

Very nice zoo. There were not many active animals at the moment (23 degrees). The beautiful aquariums were fantastic. Too bad the adults forbade their children to scream. That is forbidden there, but almost nobody adhered to it. Perhaps supervisors can be appointed.
There was also little to no staff throughout the park that you could ask for. I have seen 3 people in a moving cart that were not really appealing.
The train we rode in were led us nicely through the park (paid double for an entire round) but it would be nice that if a chat by the driver (or a tape eg.) So the customer knows what he can see . We also had a great time.

Beautiful Blijdorp. Nicely situated we had the weather a bit disappointing, but will definitely come back! Had a nice day.

Diergaarde Blijdorp is clean and beautiful, today had a wonderful day there.

Okay zoo. Some animals are sitting in their uppie next to the loud train. I know that Blijdorp really has love for animals. Things like this are difficult to see

Amazing ZOO ! Very interactive, the animals have it good here so it's one of the good examples of how you should run a ZOO :)

Apart from that it was a very enjoyable experience, a lot of places to have a coffee / meal.

5/5 since the experience was amazing, I especially the Ocean part !

Ondanks de Corona en de drukte was het als de mensen zich eraan zouden houden prima vertoeven!
Inzet personeel was echt ondanks de hitte 34 graden top.

Blijdorp is a very nice and beautiful zoo. The animals are good to see, beautiful buildings. The aquarium is beautiful to walk through. Amazonica is also a relief with the butterflies and plants. The zoo is wheelchair friendly. I come here about once a year. It is enjoyment!

It was wonderful. It is beautiful there. I've never been in such a large, clean zoo. You can move to all continents of the world. I want to go back there

Altjd nice to be your "own" Zoo. Constantly busy with innovation: Fun! As for the food at the park: Bad and fat. If you have good care for animals, take good care of the inner man!

Animals are in a shelter. Many stays are empty. Prefer Burgers Zoo

Nice clean park with a good variety of animals. Here you can complete the day.

Very nice and well-organized zoo! Great stays for the animals. Beautiful oceanium and the amazon with butterflies is fantastic. The animals can be admired well. We brought food and drinks ourselves so I can't judge that but saw plenty of options to eat and drink. The kids also learned a lot because they playfully explain well. Had a very nice day! Great zoo. Spent the whole day there. So much to see and do. I recommend going early as it definitely gets busier as the day goes on.

A must go place in Rotterdam. A little bit expensive, but having a rotterdampas might help with that.

Beautiful and spacious paths that are perfect to ride with my mobility scooter, there is also a lot to experience for young and old even in bad weather, nobody will ever be bored here.

Beautiful zoo with many different animals with beautiful enclosures. A lot to do and see for children. Feel free to take a day out.

Tickets are also available online, this is the cheapest option ( 23,50 for adults) because at the zoo itself it is 24,50. Bringing your own drinks and food helps to keep the costs at a minimum since buying food and drinks inside the zoo can make this an expensive day out. Easy to reach with public transport.

Beautiful zoo, always renewing for the animals, enough toilets and baby changing, catering facilities are affordable, you can bring your own drinks, even with a rainy day out

A must see in Rotterdam. 10/10 would polar bear again.

Superb and immense (I think it is almost 4-5 times the Artis zoo in Amsterdam). It takes at least 5 hours to turn it around calmly, so I recommend comfortable shoes. The only flaw: no indication in English.

Beautiful zoo, we have a subscription to this beautiful zoo. I recommend everyone to take a look here. It is fun for young and old. For the small children there is a lot of playing fun (inside and outside).

Beautifully zoo. Arranged into smaller gardens with view over the animals habitats. Animals are well cared for. Family friendly, facilities are kept clean. Can be very busy on weekends and during holidays.

I don't like trapped animals, but Blijdorp is relatively good. Most animals live in an environment similar to their natural habitat, and all have the ability to withdraw from humans. The animals are often clearly visible due to the layout of the enclosures.

Diergaarde is a very nice zoo, and especially the aquarium is impressive. The free flight show was also quite nice. We also had someone in a wheelchair and everything is easily accessible with the wheelchair.

The second part of the park is quite a jumble of roads, where the signposts are not always clear. When we wanted to go back to the exit (Oceanium), we lost 2 times, so we came back on the other side of the park.

Nice animal park. Enormous, if you want to see everything properly, you are really busy all day. The signage was sometimes very confusing and a number of times we unintentionally arrived at the same part.

Erg mooie dierentuin, met een groot aantal dieren. Er worden op een dag meerdere vogelshows gehouden, en je kan hier net zo goed terecht als het regent, want ook binnen is genoeg te zien. Goede plek om je kinderen/kleinkinderen naar toe te nemen.
Enige minpunt is dat het eten in de restaurants matig is voor de prijs, vooral sinds je hier meestal wel even zoet bent.

Blijdorp Remains a fun outing with the Kids every time. The tour is also very nice and recommended !!

With a wheelchair it was a lot of pushing and we did not enter various buildings in or through the hospitality industry without help. The butterflies in the dome garden were beautiful. Good parking places.

Make sure you buy a map, but the park is well maintained and lot of clear views to the animals.

Wonderful day out, a huge well kept zoo with so much to see. Recommend bringing a picnic, or getting food from the Jungle Cafe in Biotopia to keep costs down.

Map not easy to follow also the different pillars with the directions not clear

Very nice zoo, only there are now (summer 2017) many houses empty due to renovation.
We can also do something more about the weeds in various accommodations. Despite that still a nice day out
