Great park, animals not in cages. Can also eat gluten-free

It is so much fun, especially for children, it is not only the animals that they like so much but also the touching of the animals and the whole experience is beautiful

Nice eff with the kids to the wildlands. It is Wednesday afternoon and it is raining. So nice in the indoor playground.

The entertainment is more important than the animals you come for. More explanation, education would also be better!

Nice park. Animals have space. The only side note is that the entrance price is too high and you cannot stay there for a whole day.
So a much lower price would certainly attract more people to the park. Especially for people with a limited budget

We were positively surprised. We had heard some negative stories and we are glad we went anyway. It's not your standard zoo and that's a compliment. There is a great eye for detail, beautiful accommodations and lots to see.

It is really worth it super beautiful zoo much nicer than in Germany

Nice zoo with a lot of interaction with the animals. You can feed birds there (bowl of food costs 1) and then they will actually sit on your arm, shoulder or head. There is also a part where the monkeys are loose. The caregivers were already talking about becoming more and more brutal and that was certainly noticeable. One tried to pick up our sandwiches. The children (8 and 2.5 years old) really enjoyed themselves.

Very nice park that takes the corona measures into account. You will find a specimen of many different animals here and the park is nicely divided into certain themes. The show with the sea lions is also highly recommended, the animals are very well trained. Some long queues for the unlimited coffee, but overall a very nice park.

Beautiful adventure park, combination of animals and attractions, for a completely different experience! Every time I come there you discover other things.

Recently my girlfriend and I had a wonderful visit to Wildlands Adventure Zoo! The zoo is very nicely and adventurously decorated, making it enormously fun for young and old to visit the zoo. Despite the size of the zoo I thought the number of animals was very disappointing. A big plus: the helpful volunteers who walk around the park and are very enthusiastic about the animals.

In the autumn holidays it was quite closed or "under construction". The African part is impressive. We were disappointed by the rest.

There were long queues at the attractions, although it was worth it. You also have sights all day long.

Beautiful zoo, beautifully designed animal houses and plenty of eateries and clean toilets in the park.

A very nice zoo. You can really discover a lot. Very child friendly. The prices are moderate, the staff are friendly and everything makes a good impression. The gastronomy is also okay. Sometimes the zoo also has something of an amusement park (e.g. there is a small roller coaster and a boat tour).

Wildlands is not a Zoo but an adventure park. You can walk among the wild (but not to wild) animals, visit the amazing indoor playground and take a ride in the roller coaster. You can easily spend a day here. The prices are very reasonable.

Nice park to go with the family for a day. Also a possibility to divide the park into three days. Many play areas and enough animals to view. Well worth it.

In this adventure there is so much to do for young and old. The park is divided into three themes with associated top attractions and animal enclosures. Those who only go for the animals may be better off looking for another zoo, because, since the renovation, the emphasis is no longer solely on that. If you are looking for theme-related "adventure" and entertainment, combined with viewing and petting animals, this is the right place.

It is a beautifully landscaped park with different atmospheres. Animals have a lot of space in ostensibly their own biotope

I have never seen such a great zoo. Beautiful. And the animals all have a lot of space.

Zeer goed verzorgd. Alle (leuke) attracties bij de prijs inbegrepen. Heel aardig (en goed) personeel. Niet voor hele kleine kinderen, maar voor Kids die al wat zelfstandiger zijn hele leuke speel/ klim gelegenheden. Echt een leuk aanbod. ((En tja veel eet en souvenirwinkels ) maar ja dat hoort erbij). Een hele dag is eigenlijk nog te weinig als je alles wil zien en doen.

Supermarket animal park. Very nicely laid out. Lots of living space for the animals. You can easily make a day full. Really worth the effort to go. A lot of value for his money.

I liked the old park more, more kinds of animals and clear routes, you can just notice that it was a new incomplete park, so a bit disappointed

Nice zoo with all kinds of different themes. It's nice that in some parts of the park the animals just walk loose between the visitors. Much better than when all animals really are behind fences and walls. A good choice of zoo Emmen!

It was well worth the 2 hour drive. Will definitely do the adventure again.

Beautiful park with much more decoration. More the feeling that you are in Africa / Jungle etc. For the Animals you better go to other Zoo because the range of animals is a bit disappointing. Completely different from the old Zoo.

I used to love the old zoo.
Now there are less animals, long walks and long staying in lines to take a ride on boat or safari bus. Plus is that the remaining and new (polar bear) animals live in better conditions now. Feeding lories (parrots ) is a very nice experience. It's worth visiting once. However I used to have annual ticket for the old zoo, but I will not buy it for Wildlands.

Nice Zoo but a bit too "adventurously".. a lot of stuff for children to play

Het is een mooie dierentuin en bijzondere dieren. Toch vonden we het door de corona maatregelen niet een super uitje. Door de verplichte looproutes lijkt het er wel op dat je juist bovenop elkaar loopt. Ook zijn paden versmalt. Deze beide dingen zorgen juist voor opstoppingen naar ons idee.

A really nice and friendly zoo. Going back, the forecourt is filled with water in fine weather and families can stay there well.

Great place to pop in if you're in Holland. Family styled zoo, very beautiful exhibits around. It's lacking a bit in the refreshment area but still well worth the trip.

A nice park where you really "experience" the area. Great attractions for young and old (bus tour, boat trip, rollercoaster). We had a (false) fire alarm just before we got on the boat and then I noticed that the evacuation signal was not audible and that a "park cart" was parked outside the emergency door . Fortunately false alarm, yet another experience I will say. Food and drinks are very expensive there, so bring your own! Staff friendly. The current corona requirements, clear walkways and a direction of traffic have been taken into account, which are also clearly indicated. Lots of disinfection available and toilets clean. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of people there who have difficulties with the corona measures and do not stick to the 1.5 mtr. to keep. A great day of entertainment. However, the new park does not have the atmosphere of the old Noorderdierenpark (yet) ....

You can have fun, children too. Far walk, wheelchairs can be reserved. Animals have nice big stays, the park is nicely laid out. But not like the old zoo. In some parts too few animals. Do not miss signs about the animals.

It is not a zoo. A large playground with some exotic animals here and there. I would not recommend this to anyone, especially if you have to drive 1.5 hours for this.

Was there for the first time for me the most beautiful zoo I've been to! Nowhere else have I been able to see the animals so closely as in the Wildlands in Emmen.
There are fewer animals than in other zoos, but the animals that are there have good atmospheric and large enclosures.
The safari tour there past the rhinos my personal highlight the animals were so close that I could have touched them!

Very nice, much to discover, beautiful and neat park!

What a great park. Animals have the space and can admire you in different ways. Everywhere on your walk you will find nice things (such as lounge cushions, drums to play and much more). Great food (and clean toilets) always nearby and nicely designed. The different themes / worlds are imaginative and designed with a lot of feeling. No overkill of animals, but much attention to space and experience around the animals and their living environments. Good indoor playroom and of course not to be forgotten: Tweestrijd! I'm definitely going back with my son, who wants to be back tomorrow.

My girlfriend and I (21 and 24) recently decided to go to Wildlands despite the many negative reviews that can be found on the internet. After walking around for more than 5 hours, we can honestly say that these negative reviews are downright ridiculous.

First of all, the park looks beautiful. There are 3 different themes on display (Jungola, Serenga and Nortica), all of which have also been given their own style and decoration that matches their environment. As the website itself indicates, the park is not a zoo but a real discovery park. There are no 1000 species of animals, but the interaction that you have with the environment and the animals that are there is nothing short of fantastic. Each theme has its own attraction such as sailing around in a boat at the Jungola, a ride through the Serenga and the 4-D experience at Nortica, which really have added value!

Our day out at wildlands was very successful, also thanks to the enthusiastic staff who are walking around there. The surroundings of the animal enclosures are amazing and you can often get very close. The only downside was the part of the butterfly garden where a number of lofts were built.

In this corona time there are many parks that could be an example of wildland. Everything arranged perfectly

Very nice park. It is a pity that there were plastic in the water with polar bears. Is this to mimic reality? It is a bad example for the youth.

Nice zoo with space for visitors and animals. The distance to the animals is sometimes great, so a good pair of eyes is needed. During Corona every second hand cleaner stations, toilets well equipped, walking routes clear.

Here you are really sweet for a whole day. Do you want to go in a boat, a truck or a roller coaster. Everything is possible!!

Animals have good space.
Park is quite small, if you look at everything quietly you will be completely round in half a day. It is a bit disappointing for 4 hours, back and forth.

Leuk park om met kinderen heen te gaan! Er zijn allerlei speelgedeeltes en zelfs een grote indoor speeltuin genaamd Animazia. De gebieden van de dieren zijn soms heel mooi opgezet en soms heb je het gevoel dat er meer potentie in zat, gezien het een nieuwe dierentuin is. De meeste 'hokken' zijn dus ruim en beter voor het dieren welzijn. Wel zorgt dit ervoor dat er minder dieren zijn dan in vergelijkbare dierentuinen qua grootte. Iets wat ik niet erg vind. Ook is het park gethematiseerd, wat erg leuk gedaan is.

De vlindertuin is niet zo romantisch als de oude vlindertuin wat jammer is. Ik begrijp het idee, maar ik denk dat het rondlopen door de paadjes en de zitplekjes in de oude dierentuin echt leuker was opgezet. De grote kas is dan wel weer echt heel bijzonder en indrukwekkend mooi.

Een aantal plus en min punten, maar het belangrijkste voor ons is dat de kinderen het heel leuk hebben. Dus daarom een 4 van 5.

Maybe because of all advertising, but this was a bit disappointing. Safari is short and you can really do a lot better at the Beekse Bergen. Healthy eating is almost not for sale.

Due too covid19 rules no waiting lines at the tours. Staff is aware of the corona rules. Very big and beautiful zoo. Kids had a great time!

Nice set up but I found it difficult that you had to run back again and again to want to join someone else.

Nice park with beautiful thematic parts. The decoration is super! The boat trip and the safari trip are especially impressive. It is a pity that there is nothing more in terms of aquariums (sharks, fish, rays, etc.).

Beautiful experience and a good spending of the day. You can certainly have a good time there. Good setup in a number of themes. Relatively few animals to see but the park itself is also worthwhile and the senses are really stimulated.

Great zoo, to do everything from small to old! Never seen so many lively animals in beautiful large enclosures! Explained a lot and the sea lion show is definitely recommended!

Nice park. Waiting time of an hour for a ride of less than 10 minutes with the 'truck'.

Nice layout of the park. Clear and beautiful combination of zoo and experience. Quality of the food is less. Consider something other than fries and a sticky burger.
