I think it's a nice park with real space for the animals

Is a nice zoo with nice staff. Something different from a standard zoo.

Nice zoo! With a safari truck through Serenga and a boat through Jungola. Kids loved it! Had a very nice day.
Point of attention; the waiting times are not indicated, that would be handy and in the burger restaurant they were clearly not prepared for the crowds. That was not handy. But otherwise good and tight for each other.

Not my thing. Came to the zoo annually, but this was 1 time. What a disappointment. Can imagine when it is busy that people stand still for hours here. Now ready after 1.5 hours. A shame for Emmen who is now a crowd pleaser poorer.

Alternate, fun adventure playgrounds for children. Nice the different worlds.

Great park and plenty to see. The roller coaster 'De Tweestrijd' is also a must for fans. Consumptions are a bit pricey.

Beautifully decorated zoo. Recent developments in terms of addition have made the park much more fun in a year. Admission price is still too high for what you get, catering is nice to the price, but of super quality. Definitely a fun day out.

Completely redesigned zoo, divided into three adventure worlds. Unfortunately, the entrance + parking fee is quite steep and not necessarily justified by the livestock. In addition, the opening times as in the Netherlands are usually very scarce. Except for two months, you have to leave the area punctually at 17h. Very good, however, are the many walkable enclosures, the polar bear area and the tropical hall "Rimbula".

Very nice park where visitors are taken in different climate zones and the associated animals. There are many activities for children and many animals to see. The park is constantly renewing and that makes it a fantastic park.

Very nice place. Many animals run around freely, so you can get very close to them. Also very suitable for wheelchair users, extra entrances to the attractions and seating at the shows.

Mooie dieren, leuk opgezet, voldoende uitraas mogelijkheid voor kinderen.

Wel veel heuveltjes op en af moeten wandelen, met een rolstoel mee is dat wel erg zwaar, houd daar wel rekening mee...verder is bijna alles wel rolstoel toegankelijk.

It's nice, good enough. However the fact that you can see the apartment buildings while you are walking through Safari takes one star away from the review. Regarding price-quality ratio, BurgerZoo in Arhnem is better.

The park is nicely built and well equipped in terms of facilities. In terms of animals I will not go here anymore, because other parks are much better

We visited yesterday and were all slightly concerned about the high number of people allowed to visit the zoo. Social distancing was not possible and equally no person wore face masks appreciating this was not a requirement. If you are at all concerned about the spreading of the corona virus I would defiantly recommend you avoid the zoo at this present time unless the zoo can reduce the number of visitors.

Different setup than one is used to from a zoo. Everything very spacious, divided into themes, nicely done

Lots to do for children, it just has a little extra.

A fun and very educational experience for young and old can not be compared to the old-fashioned zoo.

Too expensive. Previous zoo in Emmen was much more fun and had more animals. Now you have to walk too much to see something.

Het is een moderne dierentuin, met veel activiteiten. Er zijn veel dingen verbetert, het water bij de nijlpaarden (en ijsberen) is niet meer troebel (unieke ervaring om ze onderwater te zien zwemmen), veel meer dieren bij gekomen (krokodillen, schildpadden, vogels, vissen) en veel meer borden, (hoewel het onnodig is, met de app en gratis wifi overal, waar je alles kunt lezen, ipv een file bij een bordje, en het verpest het gevoel dat je in het wild bent). Het duurt mij 5 uur om alles te zien met attracties en het is fantastisch. Veel lekker eten ook.
Een maand geleden was het wel minder, toen was het kaler en veel te modern voor conservatieve mensen die perse geen smartphone hebben en alleen maar kunnen slenteren en overal langs lopen zonder te kijken en naar troebel water staren. De meeste negatieve opmerkingen die ik las, waren echt onzin. Het is echt bijzonder om zo veel dieren letterlijk te kunnen aanraken, zonder dat het gevaarlijk is voor kinderen. Je kan zelfs penguins aanraken, maki's, schildpadden, prairiehonden, vlinders die op je landen, zoveel. Je bent er met het gevoel dat er geen hekken zijn .

Too bad the animals don't come first. The Wildlands Adventure Park cannot be compared in any way with the former Noorder animal park. Even though the 'experiences' are so beautiful, I am very disappointed that the animals seem to be only part of the 'adventure'.

Was used to the old zoo. This is getting used to. But definitely worth it!

WILDLANDS is de nieuwe zoo voor elk wat wils en beter dan de oude.
Sommige zegt dat 30 euro entreegeld is veel maar, ik vind het redelijk omdat de dieren moet eten hebben en personeel loon + onderhoud en verwarming en vocht voor de jungle. En er is genoeg te doen voor kinderen.
Jij kan met het bootjes varen en meegaan op safari in in een vrachtwagen en er zijn verschillende shows. Alles met alles een belevenis.

My three children have a great time all day, they are 2, 7 and 10 and there was plenty to do and see for everyone. Nice day and not too busy.

Fun for the kids. As an adult you are quickly through it. Well nicely set up and nicely themed.

This zoo is really impressive.

The design of the individual "worlds" is detailed and harmonious. There is a lot to discover and it is also worth going to the secret ways.

Vandaag geweest. Prachtig. Fijne medewerkers en goede instructie van de coronaregels. De zeeleeuwenshow is heel educatief. Als je door het park loopt, zie je dat de dieren zich fijn voelen. Een echte aanrader.

De combinatie van dierentuin en pretpark is mooi uitgevoerd. Op allerlei verstopte plekken zijn speelelementen voor alle leeftijden waarmee je veel dichter bij en tussen de dieren staat.

Drie verschillende werelden geven je gevoel van een wereldreis in een dagje uit.

Ons tweede bezoek was weer leuker dan de eerste keer, dus we kijken uit naar de volgende bezoeken

Not really wheelchair-friendly and little vision from the wheelchair. Furthermore, a nice garden. Especially the boat trip is very worthwhile. Supply of food and drinks limited.

It is a beautiful park, but will not go for the 2nd time. And get more places for unlimited coffee / tea. E I would also add the hot chocolate milk to this concept.

Jungola gedeelte is mooi en wel goed opgezet de rest van het park is gewoon slecht alles is overduidelijk nep en plastic en de echte beplanting is alleen maar onkruid de serenga is een lelijk somber gebied waarbij het bustochtje veel te kort is. De Nortica is net een industrie terrein hier hadden ze meer mee kunnen doen, de simulator is wel leuk maar ook weer erg kort. Er zijn bijna geen dieren en de dieren die er zijn die kun je bijna niet zien. Echt heel schandalig dat ze 1 van de mooiste dierentuinen van Nederland hebben vervangen voor dit. Ik hoop dat het oude park weer terugkomt met alleen de jungola als extra erbij. Kortom een 2 voor de moeite en de jungola. Als je gratis kaarten voor dit park krijgt zou ik het zeker bezoeken ik raad het af om hiervoor te betalen want het is het geld niet waard. Emmen als jullie nog klanten willen blijven trekken breng het oude park terug of verbeter dit park

Some animals are only a bit pathetic after the renovation. There is more room for the visitors than the animals, unfortunately.

A very nice day out, definitely worth it!
Clear walking route, if you continue to follow the path, you will not miss anything.
The animals have very nice, spacious accommodations.
There are plenty of toilet facilities in Wildlands and there is also a wide choice of food and drinks.
Wildlands says that it does not have its own parking space, but there is plenty of parking space in the neighborhood within a short walk.

Worth visiting. Sure. Reserve all day to see everything quietly ...

It is a nice park to have been once. But I found the price very high, on advertising everything is made very big so you think it is worth it. But in reality that is disappointing. If you have a nice discount coupon, it is worth it!

Lovely experience-focused setup. Fantastic for kids, but also a joy for adults. The smaller number of species is in my mind fully compensated by the approach of re-creating natural habitat areas to maximize animal happiness, and there is still more than enough to see in a day. Biggest criticism for me is information privision, but plenty of volunteers and zoo workers are around to have enlightening conversations with. Would love to come back again!

Nice zoo with lots of entertainment. The extra attractions went well.

We went in the off-season with 2 young children. We personally consider this to be one of the most beautiful zoos we have seen to date. Clean and cared for! Our children (and we too) have enjoyed ourselves very much. If we are in the area again, we will definitely go to Wildlands again.

Een dierentuin die hieraan een totaal andere betekenis geeft. Jammer dat Emmen zelf niet een genot is om te winkelen en/of te verblijven. Wildlands tilt de vreugde en vertier in Emmen op. Nette verblijven, goed aangelegde paden en ruimte om rustig te kijken en genieten.

Goed bereikbaar per auto en openbaar vervoer, entree prijs iets aan de hoge kant, maar voor koffie of thee liefhebbers kun je hierop bezuinigen door een beker te kopen van 7,50 en de gehele dag genieten op vele plekken in het park met een gratis hergevulde kop koffie of thee.

De gevarieerde aantal dieren en insecten geeft een duidelijke beeld wat op de wereld leeft. Hier moeten we enorm zuinig op zijn.

Kinderen die zich vervelen, kunnen onderweg in het park op verschillende plekken hun energie kwijt. Vele plekken kunnen kinderen spelen klimmen en als hoogtepunt een bezoek afleggen aan een 3D theater en de achtbaan twee strijd.

Dankzij Emmen zou ik bijna 1 ster minder plaatsen, maar doordat Wildlands diverse dieren, planten en insecten heeft en goed vertier voor jong en oud, tevens 2 leuke attracties, maakt deze enorm veel goed om toch voor Wildlands te kiezen.

Je moet deze 1x in je leven hebben gezien.

Is het zo perfect dat ik hier beschrijf, grotendeels klopt het. Het enige min punt hier zijn de vele bezoekers die zich niet kunnen gedragen. Een brandende peuk in het hoge gras gooien bijvoorbeeld. Wijs je ze hierop, krijg je gelijk een grote mond terug. Ze hebben zelfs geen respect ook leg je uit dat het zonde zou zijn als een mooi dierenpark in de as gelegd wordt.

Dit heeft niet de pret gedrukt die ik bij wildlands heb gehad.

Had a great day with the grandchildren. The new Jim gave a good show that the children also learned something from. Many play opportunities in between for the kids and resting places for grandparents. The new piercing of nortica is also a big advantage. Overall it was worth the money again enjoyed by all the animals

Tonight at the evening opening of Wildlands. What a mockery. Such an event should be an addition, but this was only detrimental to what the park is (still). Pitch dark and no additional lighting. Stumbled several times in the park as a result (steps / steps / pits). No animal in sight. Parts closed, so there was hardly anything fun left. Apparently you had to have vouchers to be able to participate in certain activities, you will only find out when you stand there and are no longer allowed to participate. The only animals I've seen are the stuffed animals in the souvenir shops and my pubic lice. The Google indication "People usually spend up to 1.5 hours here" seems to me to be quite accurate and telling. Spending a day here really gets tricky, unlike other parks. Very annoying that you have to walk through every part of the park before you can go to another part (always back to the starting point). Think that you make the most meters in this park in proportion to the number of animals you see. Cancel that annual subscription very quickly
