The park is very nicely decorated. Good work has been done in terms of details. Fun and good to do in a day.

You can see penguin, polar bear, lion and chicken here in no time

Many close during the winter months nice and quiet, around that time especially the jungle and the butterfly garden is recommended, nice and warm

Beautifully landscaped grounds, not as extensive as the old park. But the enclosures seem much more animal friendly. A highlight is the feeding of the birds!

Nice zoo to experience a lot, be sure not to miss the coffee list at the entrance, buy 1 cup the whole day for free refill

Remains one of the most beautiful zoos in the Netherlands.

Very nice successful and balanced zoo. It not only houses animals but also a variety of attractions! The enclosures are larger and more spacious than in comparable zoos. The price seems expensive, but reasonable. There are so many ways to spend a whole weekend there that visiting is scarce. I can only see a positive balance of the zoo! We will come back in any case.

Great place. The animals are nice, the people are nice, the food is (usually) tasty. I only found the ham sandwich very disappointing and the Slush are really dirty. I like the most that you are quite close to the animals. I also like the themes in the different places. We didn't go to a show because we didn't have the time, but that shouldn't spoil the fun. All in all it was really worth it.

Very bad experience because your zoo is poorly accessible for a wheelchair user. Without additional help, it is not possible to visit the zoo independently because there are many barriers to entry gates and doors. I regret that I bought an annual ticket because I cannot visit your zoo without help, so unfriendly for wheelchair users.

Fun do and adventure animal park. Ample parking. Many playgrounds. Large indoor playground with seating areas for parents. Nice interaction with animals is possible eg penguins and parrots. Three main themes: jungle, savannah and artic. At its best for kids who love to play, animals and adventure.

We enjoyed wildlands it was great and tidy and clean what a beautiful park.

Very nice zoo with nice attractions. Animals as much as possible in a spacious living environment. Because the weather was bad (which was not so bad), there were few visitors and no waiting times.

Een fantastische dag gehad.

Wildlands adventure zoo is duidelijk geen ouderwetse dierentuin. Hier vind je niet een hoop exotische dieren opgesloten in hokjes. In plaats daarvan is wildlands een zorgvuldig ingericht park, waarin alle pogingen zijn gedaan om een onderdompeling in de natuur na te bootsen. In sommige stukken lopen de dieren volledig vrij rond. Hekken vind je bijna nergens. Het heeft echt een prachtige uitstraling.

De enige kanttekening die ik zou willen maken is dat het educatieve aspect - wat een wettelijke vereiste is voor het houden van wilde dieren - meer aandacht verdient. Er staan slechts een paar bordjes met wat statistieken van de dieren, bovendien is er absoluut geen achtergrondinformatie te vinden.

Super thematic areas. Designed with love. For young and old entertainment. Huge enclosures. Unfortunately, as always, eating poorly and overpriced, better eat before or after. Best zoo I've seen.

Prachtig dierentuin. Leuke afwisseling van dieren en attracties en de wijze waarop je naar de dieren kunt kijken.
Tip: ga 's morgens naar de ijsberen, dan zijn ze het actiefst.
Geweldig dat je in de diverse restaurants glutenvrije patat en snacks (kroket, frikandel) kunt eten.

What a fantastic park! To be honest, no idea what all the negative acid plums are talking about. I've been to pretty lesser zoos. This park is neat and tidy, with a young family (7.5.0) even good to walk on, beautiful views of the animals and a very nice mix between zoo and attractions. It was very busy but continued to flow well. It seems that there is a bit too much hospitality, but that is of course no problem for us as visitors. Emmen, you have a super animal park

Some improvements have already been made, but the architect who came up with this can go home.

Viel ons tegen. De reclame beloofd veel. In werkelijkheid valt het tegen. Park is wel mooi qua opzet.

WILDLANDS is really worth it! Beautifully set up with worlds of experience where real attention has been paid to the details. The African village, the stranded Jim in the jungle and the stranded trains in the savannah. The attractions with the boat through the jungle, the tour in the truck and of course the rollercoaster Tweestryd finish it off. Only downside is the food; it is and remains fast food. Sandwiches were not really super fresh and a simple dish like the bouncer was not available

Very nice that some amusement park-like attractions have been added. It was more than 14 years ago that we were there for the last time. Whether it is worth the entrance fee, which is quite high, is a bit difficult to judge. We were able to get in for about 1/3 of the normal price through the ANWB offer. There are more than enough eating and drinking places with the usual prices for these types of parks, but certainly not extremely expensive.
We had a nice afternoon / evening, hence five stars.

The design of the park is well thought out. What I regret is that the supply of animals is small compared to the previous zoo. I miss the education and the aquarium with lots of fish. Park decoration is very bare. At last zoo 8 times been. Now at 1 x enough.

Nice if you have children. For 2 adults not so much more. The park is completely different. There are now 3 climate zones where the animals that belong to that climate reside. There are many extra things for children (especially scrambling and alternative routes through the park).

The new design has apparently also ensured that only 20 animal species are left. Including butterflies and birds. The spacious layout of the park ensures that the animals can lie as far away from the audience as possible and you will not see them.

We were at least with 1.5 hours fairly unsatisfied again outside and we had seen everything (including inside).

Nice for a day out. It wasn't around for me but it was worth it. Can see and even touch monkeys, butterflies and birds from very close by.

Great zoo, animals have nice spacious stays. Furthermore, many playgrounds for children throughout the park making it a real adventure for children. Concerns me the combination ... As a parent you want your child to like it and learn how animals are good at it ... through different sites the tickets are also offered affordable.

We found Wildlands in Emmen a fantastic animal, plant and amusement garden.
For us a beautiful day and for children this is really fantastic.

Fantastische dierentuin! Mooi opgedeeld in 3 thema s. Voor de bezoekers en de dieren een aangename plek. De combinatie dierentuin met attracties is een goede zet, erg leuk.

Voor hulp tijdens het bezoek is de app een echte aanrader, deze geeft duidelijkheid wanneer de shows zijn en waar de verschillende dieren zich bevinden.

Too bad that few food stalls were open.
And the boats stopped before 7.30 p.m.
While they were summer nights.
Then you expect that there is more entertainment and everything will be open longer!

Visited with free tickets from the Postcode Lottery. Otherwise expensive but worth it! Are shows given with fun stories for the children. And as parents also enough to see. The new roller coaster is definitely recommended, for the sensitive people is enough. The food is pricey and not all stalls were unfortunately open on Monday. This is expected to be better in the weekend. Furthermore, a very nice day.

Very nice facility, we were able to see all the animals and all the animals looked very well cared for and none say than it would have these typical Zooblues

Nice park and for young children (5-12) a very nice climbing hall.
Large space for the animals.
But positivity ends there.
In 2 of the 3 areas you have to go back the same way that you walked, and you have to go back because there is only 1 entrance per area from a central square.
Expensive gifts.
Few animals.
Expensive tickets and parking also costs 10.
Poor customer service, very difficult to reach via e-mail and telephone, fast contact via Facebook, but not everyone has that.
For those who have to travel for a long time, it is not recommended.
Boat trip and "safari" not really spectacular, as they want to present it on the advertising.
Maybe just investing 200,000,000, then it can still be something.
Most zoos in the Netherlands and surroundings were visited anyway, but we will not return here for the time being.

Nice park and really a lot to do almost more than 1 day

Without the music, it would certainly have received five stars. Beautiful zoo, but the music was annoying and disturbing. It gave the park an Efteling feeling, while peace and quiet would have been more appropriate.

Like the attractions but the polar bears were very stressed.

Beautiful park with plenty of room for both animals and humans. The park still needs to grow in the open, which is obviously still quite new. Definitely recommended, good mix between animal park and entertainment that can only get better in the future! And the animals? You walk sometimes in between, and you can see the animals in this park certainly are having fun!

Become beautiful! The last time we were here the park was still under construction (we were allowed to practice with the fire brigade). Generously laid out in three main branches: Nortica (think polar bears), Serenga (sevanne) and Jungola (amazon). Lots to do and discover for children where strict secretions have been removed so they can come across a maze or a climbing thing in the craziest places. Even last weekend when it was quite busy you still had the feeling that there was enough space in the park.

Nice zoo nice that you can make a kind of safari with a large truck

What a beautiful park it has become! Both spacious for the animals and the people. The nordica part was rebuilt, therefore 1 star less, because we could not judge that properly.
There were an incredible number of butterflies in the butterfly garden, little diverse but many!

I think it's really fun for all ages. But I think it's most fun for kids like me

Super nice and beautiful zoo. Completely rebuilt. Only downside is that you have to walk a bit from the parking lot.

Fun zoo especially suitable for children from 4 to 12 years. Entrance is on the pricey side, so try to get discount cards. Ample parking is within walking distance of the park and is easily accessible.

Too bad there were many animals inside because of. the cold. Very understandable.

Wildlands is a relatively new zoo and everything about the park shows this. Modern style areas for the animals with plenty space for them to roam whilst still allowing the public to view them. Attractions in between vary from a rollercoaster to a 3d ride.
Nice variety of restaurants and shops complement the zoo.

Many live animals. Other than what the Oostvaardersplassen

Jungle is really cool! I also found it very disappointing, especially the arctic part ...
Restaurant (at the entrance) was dramatic, it was already reported that we had to wait half an hour (can happen on a busy day) 2 kinds of bread were on (it was 12.30 pm).
Finally waiting an hour and 10 minutes! For some fries, 2 sandwiches and a pancake.

Nice, but a pity that they do not have their own parking space (costs 10 )

Beautiful new zoo. Fun for children through thematic interactive design. More than enough opportunity for snacks and drinks. Not so very big, partly because of that clear and in one day to do.

Very impressive. Very varied. Really something very different from the old zoo. Better living environment, nice inventive buildings and beautiful presentations. Good explanation and many backgrounds. Also a lot to do for secondary school students. Well done!

Awesome animals and really cool mini roller-coaster.

Very nice animal park with very nice stays. They do not go for the largest number of types of animals, but for the best accommodation for those animals. They do that well. But why the roller coaster? Do they also want to be an amusement park?

Super nice adventure park. Really you should definitely not call this a zoo or participate in comparisons. They are beautiful continents where the animals have a sea of space and can behave like in nature.
