Nice park good coffee only wood to stir so bring your own spoon

Nice park, well set up. A lot to see and everywhere you get an explanation. Fine.

What a super amazing park this is. Also great fun for children. The park is well set up with look, do and play things so that the children experience something again and again. A nice boat ride, here and there a climbing frame, stray animals a small children's farm where the kids can really pet animals, a super beautiful and large indoor playground, a ride in a large truck as a kind of safari. We really enjoyed a day out. If I have to give a tip, it is the food stalls where I think there are students who don't really know how everything works. Search for things slow operation. As a result, waiting times per customer in the fryer etc were very long.

It is very nice to be there but a disadvantage, the food / drink is very expensive so I would bring food / drink myself.

What a fantastic zoo. Nicely set up and because of the obligatory walking route because of corona you now know for sure that you do not miss an animal. The safari is original and a great experience.

Good place for a fun day out for the whole family. Pleasant atmosphere in the restaurants. Friendly staff.

Surprisingly beautiful zoo with various themes. When it is cold you are warmed up again between the butterflies and the parrots. Huge large halls that are beautifully covered.

Wildnights visited until the end the children liked it, then there was a laser show with sound and light effects, not nice for an autist, was not warned. Bit sloppy

Was very disappointing. The animals don't have that much space, there was not much to see. Many food stalls were also not open.

voor het eerst hier geweest voor ons geen tweede keer we vonden het tegenvallen..geef ons de oude dierentuin van emmen maar weer terug
en kom hier vooral niet in deze corona tijd..veel te druk..er word totaal geen rekenschap met de regels gehouden

A nice new concept for a Zoo in which the animals can roam freely and where you as a visitor to the park imagine yourself amidst the animals.
The park is well maintained and clean, there are also enough places for a sanitary stop or one for a snack.

There is more to do and play for children. We were sorry that if the polar bears are behind the hill you are really unlucky. There is no way to see them then.

A great park so beautifully landscaped. Very nice wooden play paradise for the children with air conditioning.
Do not realize that so many people are complaining. I do not think I understand it .. It is a new set-up and that has turned out great.
I do have a comment. That a can of cola costs 2 euros. (reasonable price) but that I have 2.95 for a small bottle of water I have to pay very expensive.
It was very warm but also very quiet so everything could do. Had a great day.

Nice park you can sometimes get very close but the best thing is that it is so well decorated.

Wonderful - staff / volunteers come to tell you about the animals. Huge terrain, where it looks like there is still expansion.

WILDLANDS night was nice only seen few animals unfortunately

Very nice zoo with different areas of life of the animals. We were able to see the animals relatively close, partly touch directly. There is a safari bus with a drive through the big game enclosure such as elephant, rhino, giraffe etc. There are many original details such as an old wagon or an aircraft wreck that have been integrated into the theme area. In the Nortica there is a great 3D cinema, only in Dutch but still funny and exciting. Everywhere there are sanitary facilities and possibility to eat or drink something. The prices are moderate. But you can also arm yourself with a wagon, if you are traveling with children and bring everything. For children it is definitely an experience, there is, among other things, a water-sand playground which is covered, so rather change clothes pack for the kids:) and a few rides there are. And also suitable for wheelchair users.
All in all, totally recommendable

The hammer ... We were very enthusiastic. Very diverse, not too big park with great attractions ... unfortunately only open until 5:00 p.m. at our time ... Parking in the area is quite expensive with a 10 euro day ticket. We'll be back next year anyway again ... We as a family with a 5 year old child recommend it 100%

Deze interactieve dierentuin zag er schoon uit. De tuinen worden continue ontdaan van onkruid. De beesten hebben er veel ruimte en op diverse plekken kunnen de dieren gewoon bij je lopen en staan. Ook de activiteiten in het park maakt deze dierentuin een leuke ervaring voor volwassenen en voor kinderen.

Wij waren op een rustige dag gegaan, dus konden uitgebreid alles bekijken. Vooral bij de bavianen zijn we een hele tijd blijven staan. Hier is altijd wel wat te zien.

Even with bad weather good stay just the kids. Plenty of fun indoor and outdoor activities.

Het park viel na alle goede reclames op tv erg tegen. Er zijn voor een dierenpark vrij weinig dieren te vinden. Ook zijn de wachtrijen bij de boottocht en de bustocht erg lang. Je staat hier zo een uur te wachten. De rit valt na deze wachttijd erg tegen. Het wordt erg kinderlijk gebracht en je voelt je als volwassenen wat ongemakkelijk. De dieren die je tijdens de rit ziet, zie je allemaal ook wanneer je door het park loopt. Het is vooral gericht op kinderen tot 10 jaar.
De decors zijn wel erg mooi. Hierdoor hadden we meer het gevoel in een pretpark te lopen dan in een dierentuin.

Het is wel een leuk dagje uit. Jammer dat er voor rolstoelers veel obstakels zijn die het minder leuk maken. Een mogelijkheid zou kunnen zijn om de zware deuren te voorzien van een knop voor rolstoelers zodat de deuren automatisch open gaan. In plaats van of wachten tot iemand zo vriendelijk is om de deur open te houden, of dat de begeleider met de billen de deur moet openduwen.
Verder bij de horeca gelegenheden een plaat neerleggen zodat rolstoelers zonder klappen de horeca kan betreden.
De Serengeta vond ik het mooiste gedeelte van het park. De vlindertempel viel wat tegen. Heel erg jammer want daar had ik me erg op verheugd.

The entertainment is still too far from our idea. The safari truck for example drives through a savanna that you just walked past, except for a waiting time no added value. Junglekas is very nicely done, more of that.

Very nice but a bit too crowded at the attractions.

Very nice for children. Annoying that there are music everywhere. Instead of experiencing nature, it looks like a fairground in between. Furthermore beautifully made a nice animal friendly as far as possible. Don't miss the educational of the old park.

A beautiful and beautifully landscaped park.
Also a fun entertainment for children.
The wheelchairs present have small wheels, which means that the floor on which the wheelchair rolls on the seat, bringing its own cushion for the wheelchair is a must.
The shows (theaters) have stairs and therefore not wheelchair friendly.

Very nice to see that animals are given space in this park! Beautiful atmospheric park with beautiful accents in terms of nature.

The park is nicely spacious and innovative. New animals and attractions are constantly being added. Wildlands is truly an experience. Certain animals run free in the park and in the tropical dome

Is it a zoo or is it an amusement park. Give me Emmen animal park back again, 30 for entrance is simply not worth it anymore, very unfortunate. Attractions are really a nice addition, but just too much aimless walking before you see animals again.

In comparison with the old zoo, this was very disappointing. After years of being a subscription holder, I stopped this. This is not what I expected from a modern zoo.

Having visited the park with grandson, had high expectations but was very disappointing. Few animals sometimes do have the space. But is illogical in terms of layout, the different habitats do not overlap, so you always have to go back to the starting point. Park looks nice, but don't find the roller coaster in a zoo. The fun outdoor play attributes that were in the old zoo have disappeared, which is a shame. Now a dark indoor "paradise", not really recommended. The boat on the "river" waited half an hour for less than 10 minutes. The tropics "show" too was nothing.
Find the entrance fee too expensive.
If it was lucky that the ANWB offered a discount of 10 Euro pp, then it is still possible. Would not consider going again.

Had a great day in the park, everything well organized, the walking routes, 1.5 meters everywhere, hygiene pumps everywhere.

It gets better every time you go. I would tell visitors to take your time and not go from a to b as quickly, there is so much more to see as you think. Only the butterfly garden is no longer the old one from before. Many butterflies but 95% the same species unfortunately.

Lots of scenery, few animals. Corona routes available. Yet in some respects too many people in one place

Very beautiful zoo. And with all the plans that are still in the pipeline, things can only get better. Original design, beautiful accommodations, good hospitality and the roller coaster is a nice extra.

We had to wait a while, but Wildlands, the new experience park in Emmen, is a fantastic park where young and old will experience a fantastic journey of discovery in the animal kingdom. The service in and around the park is great. Nice and close parking, excellent food service and if there is any energy left over you can continue your experience in the largest covered shopping mall in the north of the Netherlands that is located 100 Mar away.

First time in the park. It is a pity to see that the park's potential has not quite materialized. The park seemed to be designed in Planet Coaster (modern roller coaster).

We regretted that there are few animals. Far too many eateries. Do not come again

Zoo where you can walk with 3 to 4 hours. Everywhere good facilities such as toilets and restaurants, eateries. Nicely set up and animals nearby. Animals have enough living space. 3 special areas Serenga Jungola Nortica with own attraction. I have seen wheelchairs from zoo. Probably for rent.

After many negative reactions last year, let's see for yourself. But what a great park, totally different from other zoos. Set up in a very beautiful way, many animals that are not behind bars and lots of play opportunities for children and great shows. The roller coaster is really super fun! I did not see all of this on the website (then still old). We will definitely come again, what an experience!

Many of the animals that would be there were not visible. You should really take the spectacular attractions that are advertised with a bag of salt! Just bought special tickets through their website. 26.50 including free swrill ice cream. Tickets not received by mail, money is charged 87, - while that is not the same as 3x26.50, but there will probably be additional costs charged. Called and the cards would be ready at the entrance. Good thing it was, one card was not readable at the entrance gate, but that has also been solved. However, when we went for the Swirll ice cream at the end of the day they were not at home, wrong ticket! They were ice creams of 3.50 so misled by Wildland for 10.50 + 7.50 misled. In my opinion so ripped off for 18 euros!

What a beautiful and neat park! Very busy! But ah .... what do you want in high season.
Everywhere something to eat ... ice cream ... sandwiches ... drink ... churros ... waffles ... fries ... hot dogs .... etc etc. Toilet clean. Find it a park to visit again! Much diversity of animals. Well ... people say ... they do nothing! But it is not a circus. They just live there and you come to watch.

The park itself is very beautiful, but there are few animals to visit. The 2 hour journey there was not really worth it. Despite some rain now and then still had a nice day.

It was fun, things still have to be built. Butterfly garden was beautiful, lions were lazy, fun ride in the carts.

Nice to go with the small children. The roller coaster is less for adults. Really is a family roller coaster.

Mooie dierentuin. Ziet er verzorgd uit. Vanwege de ruime opzet weinig diersoorten. Maar dan hebben ze wel mooi de ruimte.
Genoeg gelegenheid om eten en te drinken.
Ruim aanbod toiletten. Vanaf parkeeraats is het wel een stukje lopen naar de ingang.

Gisteren hebben wij een huwelijksceremonie en aansluitend feestelijkheden mogen meemaken in dit prachtige dierenpark. Voorafgaand aan de ceremonie werden wij in de gelegenheid gesteld het park vanaf 10:00 te bezoeken. Wij hebben 2 van de 3 hoofdthema s kunnen verkennen. We hebben goed uitgewerkte thema s mogen aanschouwen.
Op de uitkijksteiger bij de leeuwen vond de ceremonie plaats: onvergetelijk met de leeuwen op de achtergrond. Het goed verzorgde buffet vond plaats in het Rimbula restaurant: heerlijk.
Tenslotte werd de dag afgesloten met een groot feest in Momma s restaurant.
Het geheel werd in prima banen geleid door medewerkers met de goede instelling om te helpen waar nodig!
Nu willen we zeker nog terug komen om het thema Nortica te bewonderen.

Super net park.
Ik hou absoluut niet van een dierentuin.
Maar dit is echt de moeite waard!
Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn netjes modern en goed schoon.
Eten was goed lekker en snel klaar.
Overal bankjes en prullenbakken.

Bezoek wel +4uur om alles te bekijken.

Park is spacious, and some animals therefore have more space than before, but do not consider that for all stays. The large animals do not have much more space in my eyes than in other parks. Long walks without anything to see, long waiting times for something that takes 5 minutes. Jungola area is beautiful, Nortica the least. In general there is little to see, something that the old zoo lacks. I personally do not understand attractions such as the rollercoaster. Entry prices have been reduced, but do not (yet) have it. May more supervision with the goats etc as they can be stroked. Hopefully things will be different in the future.

Beautiful park, lots to see. Admission prices are firm, but reasonable to do with a discount.

Tip: place your car at the arms of Emmen. Much cheaper parking and just as far as walking.

A little bit bald outside part has to grow. Inside (safari) beautiful and attractive. Bathing elephants were spectacular.
