Nice park. Everything done and seen in 4 hours. Then back home

Unfortunately my impression was not good. For someone who has difficulty walking and walks with a walker, it is heavy walking, uneven paths, bumpy and at the shop even a threshold, narrow but very awkward. The animals that were there I enjoyed but for a game drive 1 hour in the queue? Not ideal and the queue for the boat trip too long. No, the most beautiful were the animals we could and unfortunately much less than in the old park. Too bad for me not a 2nd time.

Nice park. There is a lot to see. It is of no use for disabled people, because you cannot see anything from a wheelchair. You always look at walls and beams. You can also not easily get everywhere with the wheelchair because there are inconvenient obstacles such as swing doors that are very difficult to open.

Leuke dierentuin! Mooi gemaakt allemaal en leuk in elkaar gezet. (Miste wel een paar dieren)
Het entreegeld zelf had ik er niet voor over (2017: 26,50 voor kinderen en 30 voor 18+)
Kaarten had ik dan ook voor 10 euro p.p. + airmiles en dan parkeren kost ook 10 euro!
Conclusie, leuk park maar prijzen mogen wel minder.

This is not a zoo you have 1 snake almost no reptiles no aquarium slack shows a lot of food and drinks expensive a fairground attraction what does that there the butterflies that is the only thing that I really really like also have it nicely decorated with boulders and plants there please be a zoo again!

Liked the zoo very much. A great deal of care has been taken to create a great experience. I also think that the decoration and the way in which they have arranged the theme areas is very well done. I just wasn't very pleased with the roller coaster. It had very little to do with animals and I was not enthusiastic about it.

Very well organised... Beautiful set - up and a very enjoyable day out with the family.

Super nice themes and children can learn a lot here

Beautiful, spacious zoo. So much space and such a beautiful entourage. Very nicely made. The animals are very good and sometimes very close. There are beautiful open spaces where the animals roam among the people. We received useful information from a charming volunteer, who in the meantime also kept the park clean. In the butterfly temple we have received a short but educational tour from Bente. She knew how much to tell, with a nice dry humor. The weather cooperated on this day, but the zoo is the most beautiful in the Netherlands.

Gisteren heerlijk door Wildlands gelopen. In deze tijden word van te voren wel aangegeven dat je moet reserveren, dit kan gewoon op het moment dat je de kaartjes koopt via Wildlands... maar je kan dit ook doen door bijv. via de ANWB kaartjes te kopen met KORTING. Je krijgt een kaartje met een code en deze code moet je vervolgens via de site van wildlands invoeren bij het reserveren. Kun je op een leuk dagje toch nog besparen!


En zoals altijd is het eten/drinken en de souvenirs super duur, maarja waar is dat niet! Lekker je eigen eten/drinken mee en je kunt hier heerlijk genieten!

Very busy in many places. Not a meter and a half. Staff not visible in busy places. Unfortunately.

The park is nicely set up, but houses (too) few animals. Very many snack options!

Nicely decorated park and nice, friendly caretakers! And nice to have a look at backstage. The park is quite large so an afternoon is too short.

Wildlands is a beautiful clean and very beautifully landscaped park in which animals are allowed to be real animals and enjoy the space. You feel that you can be part of their world for a moment. Staff is very friendly atmosphere is relaxed. There is a Climbing Paradise, boats, a great roller coaster and even the food there is a must. There are enough toilets for wheelchair users, I also saw many playgrounds for small children. Our compliments! We enjoyed and will definitely come back :-)

Very spacious park with different parts, greenhouses and water features. The hills are sometimes difficult for wheelchairs and prams (but easy to do with a scooter), and not everything is accessible for disabled people and prams. Nevertheless, there is still plenty to see for them.

Really nicely laid out. Too bad that not everything was open. Otherwise certainly 5 stars.

Had a great experience, our son loved the visited, worth while the 2 hour drive, not sure if we felt the same if we needed to pay the full Entree Fee but it's a very well build zoo, great eye for detail and some attractions to give it a next level experience to an "normal' zoo

Nice zoo, only expected something more with assortment of animals.

A bit biased by certain reviews we arrived here and came to the conclusion that they really are not correct. What a super nice park. Everything is just right and the animals also have a lot of space. Absolutely great.

Hier maandag 14-9 geweest. Wat een tof park. Mooi ingedeeld en een hele hoop mooie dieren met de desbetreffende uitleg erbij. Mooi aangeklede hokken en de uitstraling van het park verder is gewoon top. We hebben genoten. Ook werd er erg goed gedacht aan de Corona regels.

Large and beautiful, enough adventure games for when there are small children and nice for a day out with the family

Not to mention zoo. Simple entertainment of people and consumption is central here. Every other meter a food place. Entrance fee much too high. No information about the animals. Not instructive. Misses the atmosphere of a good zoo, is a cross between the Efteling and something of Disney. Far too much perked up and therefore extremely boring.

Wonderful and very nice zoo. There is a lot to see and the animals have a lot of space. You just have to have been there.

The park was very disappointing to me and found the entry price very high.

Beautiful zoo. Here is really chosen for the welfare of the animals present. They have an awful lot of space and the environment where they belong, has been neglected. Well worth it.

Wij hebben echt een hele leuke dag gehad! Onze verwachtingen lagen heel hoog door alle reclames en we waren bang dat ze misschien deze verwachtingen niet waar konden maken. Maar gelukkig voor ons waren we blij verrast en hebben we het echt heel leuk gehad.
De kinderen hebben vooral genoten van alle dieren en de rit door de savana. Ook konden ze op allerlei plekken stempels verzamelen wat het verkennen extra leuk maakte.
Op het einde konden we na sluitingstijd van het park nog eten in het restaurant bij de ingang. De prijzen waren hier erg betaalbaar dus hier hebben we de dag gezellig af kunnen sluiten.

Fun! Lots of options to drink or eat, and then it is good quality. That is often different in zoos or amusement parks.

(Don't read the negative corona-related reviews. These folks should stay in with a supply of toilet rolls and turn the TV back on. Bah.)

Nice zoo / amusement park not really a zoo anymore as it used to be. It is now also more focused on being active and not just watching animals

Animals can be seen well.

As long as you do not expect a full amusement park or a full zoo, it is fine to stay. It really is a combination of the two. We have seen a lot of animals, but you must be lucky. The animals have the possibility to withdraw. When it is busy a bit of a wait for the three larger attractions, but if you go a little later in the day, it is not too bad. Catering is fine but a bit pricey. Personally I liked the most by boat through the jungle.

A nice park to entertain you for a day. Suitable for the whole family. Unfortunately not comparable to the old zoo.

A very nice zoo, with many animals that you can watch from all sides. Very good also the replica of a sewage system with the habitat of rats and mice. Everything is clean and in good condition. We had a great day at the Zoo Emmen. This zoo has fully met its entrance fee.

Beautiful spacious park, friendly staff and food for not too crazy amounts (for a trip). However, it did not convince as a zoo, but not as an 'attraction' park ... Themes within the park are beautiful and well executed.

A paradise for the animals. Hospitality and toilets enough. You are literally on an adventure!

Beautiful park Many kilometers because you always have to go back to the beginning. Too few banks on the walking route where you can sit for a while
Many restaurants with terraces.

You are not allowed to bring a dog, is not indicated on VakantieVeilingen, so we are now on holiday with tickets that are of no use to us.
Converting to another day is also not possible and tickets on a weekday in September are virtually unsellable.

De verbouwing heeft de dierentuin niet veel goed gedaan.
Er zijn weinig dieren.
De staan geen borden met info over de dieren
Bij de hokken.
Heel veel dingen zijn gemaakt voor hele kleine kinderen.
Wat het voor de volwassen wat minder leukt maakt.
De attraties zijn erg leuk maar wel erg kort
Je staat er ook nog lang voor in de rij.
Eten / drinken / parkeren is asscosiaal duur.
Als je naar een dierentuin in Nederland wilt
kun je beter ergens anders heen gaan!

Met familie een dagje naar Wildlands geweest.
Na veel negatieve verhalen en mediaberichten toch zelf maar eens de moeite genomen.

Het park is zeer ruim opgezet en zeer mooi aangekleed. De dieren hebben echt de ruimte.
Niet alleen de dieren maar ook als bezoeker ben je even niet in Emmen maar in het leefgebied van de dieren.
Doordat het in 3 delen is opgezet, en dus 3 routes zijn was het voor ons heel duidelijk en goed te lopen.

Veel horeca waar je in de stijl van de omgeving even kan uitrusten en de kinderen lekker kunnen spelen.
Veel keuze en zeker niet duur!

Veel attracties zoals speeltoestellen door het gehele park, rondrit over de savanne, boottocht door de jungle, 4D simulator, indoor speelparadijs en een achtbaan.

Het park is schoon en personeel is vriendelijk.

Conclusie:
Zeer mooi familiepark!
Om de azijnpissers gelijk te geven, er zijn inderdaad minder dieren dan andere dierentuinen of dan de oude dierentuin.
Maar in mijn ogen heeft Wildlands bewust gekozen voor een ander concept met minder dieren maar ruimere en mooiere opzet van het park.
En bewust meer attracties gebouwd om toch een hele dag te kunnen vullen voor jong en oud.

Great park, especially with / for children. Animals have a lot of space and a lot of attention for thematic decoration.

Tonight I went to wildnights again. They have unpacked a lot again. It is super nice again and definitely worth visiting the park. The park continues to develop. Compliments.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. The environment of the animals is beautifully depicted. Nice and handsome. The animals
can live peacefully and relaxed.
There is a nice shop where you can eat at various locations. Everything in a village setting.

Something different once. Jungola in particular was very successful. Really a completely different set-up, and really nice and beautifully made.

Beautiful zoo, beautiful after the renovation. Animals do well here by imitating natural environment.

I had to get used to it .... Rusted up at the old zoo .. but in the meantime I have let go and wildlands become more and more beautiful and attractive .. They listen to their guests' wishes and that works out well. Some more fun promotions for people with a subscription / annual card would be nice ... more customer loyalty ... also more to do for days with bad weather ...

The new zoo in Emmen certainly has a broader structure than the previous one. Animals have all freedom of movement. But in terms of information provision they are not ready yet. It can be a lot more educational; information about endangered species, breeding programs for conservation of species, what the person / visitor can do, etc. Now it feels like a flat amusement park with animals as entertainment.
I understand that the above points are still being worked on.

We had chosen a busy day 4 weeks ago and it was busy but what a beautiful zoo! Space and beautiful lofts also a lot for the children !!!!
Today we went back with grandpa and grandma, and it was quieter, and the park became even more beautiful! Awesome.

nice park. After a few years everything has grown and weathered nicely. That adds to the jungle feeling. Antarctica is still worthless. Nice habitats for animals but there is nothing in it.

Corona-Warning for non-Dutch-visitors: Many areas of the zoo were heavily crowded so that social distancing was *not* possible. Many, mainly Dutch, visitors would not keep a safe distance when waiting in line. No mask wearing in Restaurants. Only visit when extraordinary risk-friendly

Beautiful park to get away from it all for a day. Tip: take the time to view the animals. Certainly in an area like Rimbula, there is a lot to see if you sit down and take a good look at everything that flies and flies (binoculars are quite handy here to see the birds beautifully!) I also love the butterfly greenhouse! The roller coaster seems like a nice addition for some extra excitement. I look forward to the opening and will visit again regularly!
