Ok, the weather also cooperated well but to be honest, this is a beautiful park. Spacious, interactive and you can get very close to the animals. There is also a lot to do and investigate for children. On the day we were there it was very busy to see the parking lot but in the park you could not see that, you could walk and look around without getting in each other's way. Both the park and the facilities also looked clean. Well worth it.

Due to the corona measures you were obliged to go through the park twice.

Nice zoo. Only few good restaurants. Inside it no longer looked nice in the afternoon. Later we came to a better restaurant, but that almost closed and it was a little later then. Tip. At the treasury hut, (at the aperots (the spoons were not in the lid. Tip.
Had the sback tent at the playground

Not had a pleasant experience unfortunately. Was super busy, no distance was kept at all. Felt very unsafe all related to corona.

In addition, it was more of a playground for children. Parking lot was very inconvenient with lines everywhere. Few animals seen.

Fantastic zoo, perhaps the most beautiful or one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. The park is very spacious and there are several routes that you can walk to see everything. For children there is also a world of play equipment and separate paths that they can follow to see as many of the animals as possible. You can control a paddle boat that makes a tour along a few animal species (is monkeys). There is a special section about dinosaurs with 'lifelike' dinosarians. For us, 1 afternoon was not enough to see everything and would like to come back

Nice animal park with a lot of attention for the children. That makes the interaction between child and animal great. They can really learn something and we enjoy every visit ourselves.

I myself think that it is certainly one of the nicest zoos in the Netherlands for children. What is more well arranged is the free bus transport from parking to zoo and back. Free and parking spaces are also free. Top.

Neat animal park. The spacious layout is beautiful and you can see the animals up close. Parking costs in the mud a little pricey for 8 euros. Furthermore, it is a pity that you have to pay separately for the train. But in our opinion one of the best zoos in the Netherlands

I think not too small as many species of animals as Blijdorp

We gingen hier naartoe met het foodfestival. Was jammer genoeg super druk. Maar het was er heel erg gezellig en het eten was super lekker.

Small but nice zoo. Girlfriend and I bought a subscription for a year so we can go there more often with our baby daughter.

Huge large and fun animal park. Fun for young & old! Lots of variety and enough restaurants, playgrounds etc.

Really nice zoo as zoos go. Lots of trees, animals seem to be well treated and have some room. There was a walk through area where the bigger birds like vultures could fly around you. Very busy though....

Unfortunately the weather was pretty disappointing.

Beautiful animal park, beautifully landscaped, the animals are easy to view and with plenty of play facilities and snack corners, it is fun for young and old.

A pity about the weather but the food festival is a party

Top zoo well cared for spacious trails friendly staff and also take the time for a chat.
Children love it.
Some point of the children there may be more interaction in dinoland. It is now so static, but the dinos are well-liked

Great zoo for children, with lots of (climbing) activities

Beautiful park, nice animals that have spacious enclosures.
The time slots work very well, there was no queue when we came last night and there were enough facilities to disinfect the hands.
On the other hand, the supervision of compliance with the corona measures within the park leaves something to be desired. Especially in the enclosure of the elephants, the tigers and the queues of the boats there was absolutely no question of 1.5 meters.
Fries were high quality and tasted delicious but served by staff who clearly didn't feel like it. In addition, 5 had to be paid on top of the entrance fee to be allowed in boats that are not disinfected after each use. All in all, a fun day out, but there are still opportunities!

To be honest, I am a bit done with zoos. You barely see animals, and when you see them they are more dead than alive. Just because of lack of space if you ask me. Because there are nice play areas 3 .

We have a subscription (even extended again) so there are regular. Wonderful to go for a few hours with the children on the quiet days. Beautiful park, lots to see and yet everything within comfortable walking distance. Friendly staff and good facilities. Regular renewal.

Fantastic zoo ... it's worth driving there. The zoo is my highlight ..... Beautiful grounds and a lot of animals and much for the kids ...

Beautiful zoo, well kept accommodations with spacious design for the animals. Very varied animal offer. And the atmosphere is phenomenal, all themes are well worked out and the green character comes into its own. Good play facilities for the children throughout the park, just like the catering facilities. Highly recommended this zoo!

Nice zoo! Very nice that you can climb over the stays etc! The only pity is that in addition to the admission fee, you also have to pay extra for, among other things, the slow train.

Very nice zoo, to walk around for at least a few hours. Or with an (mid) week subscription for an hour every week, to view a different part of the zoo.

Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash and as long as you bring poo bags with you (and clean up what your dog leaves behind)

For the first time in Amersfoort Zoo. What a nice zoo! Very nicely laid out, lots of animals, beautiful accommodations and friendly staff. Super fun combination climbing-view of the animals-sliding from the slide, this gave an extra dimension to the stays and our children loved it! (And we too ). We are definitely going back!

We thought nice start of the holiday, let's take the kids to the zoo. But we didn't like it that there were almost no animals to see everything was inside because of the cold, in addition, many lodgings were closed to bird flu, etc. I think it is absurd that you pay such a high entrance fee and then nothing is reported at the checkout that there is nothing to little to see. Too bad this was because I always enjoyed going to the zoo. Really a waste of money we were out in an hour and a half. Bah

Nicely set up, nice walking routes, regular playground, dinopark is also a very good addition for the children.

Beautiful park. Because of the glass partitions you can often get very close to the animals.

(o. a. train, carousel) has to be paid separately. Parking with 8 euros is also on the high side.
But also a must!

We think it is such a nice park for our young children, that we have bought a seasonal season ticket.

Beautiful animal park! Well-kept friendly staff and very calm animals. We could get very close to anywhere. We enjoyed a lot. Tip for the silly animal park visitor; 10 minutes walk you can park for free at the forest pool. You can easily reach the animal park via a footpath through the forest.

Nice zoo, especially with children. In many places children can discover, climb and play.

Instead of the car gone by train and bus.
The trip went well and we got out at the entrance.

The entrance, employees and general impression upon entering were fine and there was a relaxed atmosphere.
I saw plenty of parking space next to the park and ditto wheelchairs if you need them.
Enough signposts and a map and we were on the way!

Immediately striking were the wide walkways and a few visitors with their own dog.
The park is spacious with plenty of opportunities for a rest and something to drink or eat.
Toilets were spacious and tidy.
Wifi was free and pretty fast.

The animals' enclosures were beautiful and spacious and looked well cared for.
Special was the dinobos where you saw many species.

We saw a petting zoo, a narrow-gauge train, pedalos, climbing machines and a beautiful carousel full of animal figures.

Special was the historic city, large outdoor bird fouliere and the location of the park in the forest itself.

Downside were the extra costs for certain attractions in the park after the entrance fee.
Train, merry-go-round, pedal boats, etc. should just be free.

Unfortunately not being able to see everything but we will definitely come back to this beautiful zoo.

Nice animal park. Close to the animals. Real park. Nice pancake restaurant.

Zoo with many different types of animals that you can see clearly. And experience the most impressive nocturnal stay in the Netherlands in which sound and light beautifully place the nocturnal animals in their natural environment. The park has beautiful and clear hiking trails. And you can also eat a good burger at one of the many restaurants.

A beautiful and informative zoo, where you really stand eye to eye with lots of animals. The animals also seem to like it themselves.

Lovely zoo, very green and nice setup! They are changing some areas, great to see these improvements. Love the dinosaur area!
