We have been very satisfied with these vets for years. They work precisely and are very skilled. They really want the best for your animal. Totally disagree with Mrs. Bakker's review. I saw her just railed in the waiting room and was threatening the vet to blacken the Internet.
They didn't deserve this!

Now in Corona time I surrender my dog and take a seat in the consultation room myself. Here, the 1.5 meter rule simply applies: if you hold your animal yourself, you are too close.

Heleen Klausen co-owner and veterinarian at Het Hart van Zuid veterinary clinic, would conduct a consultation with our dog today. In this clinic, a Corona rule has been drawn up that the animal must be handed over to an employee to be seated on the treatment table. Our 40 kilo dog is very sweet but also very focused on us as owners, and she is also somewhat anxious. When handing over the belt to the employee, I expressed my doubts whether the handing over to the employee would succeed. It became a push and pull with our dog that an outsider might consider this animal cruelty. I suggested placing the dog on the treatment table myself, but that turned out not to be allowed. Subsequently indicated that this could not continue like this. Mrs. Klausen immediately began to vent her dissatisfaction with increased volume. Rarely experienced such an unprofessional care provider. We have been a customer for years, her colleagues Hans Terwee and Femke van Walbeek are very knowledgeable and customer friendly, but Mrs. Klausen is a horror to witness. My advice is, just like we did, to find a vet who respects the animal to be treated and does not fight because of a Corona rule that you invented yourself.

They are the best vet in town - not only for their expertise but also for their genuine interest and care. My fur baby was admitted to the emergency vet services (MCD) in the middle of the night and the next morning the Hart van Zuid vets called to check in on how things are. Great team.

Meau had a special bond with Heleen Klausen and he trusted her completely. She was his favorite vet. Heleen Klausen is not only knowledgeable and professional, she can sense and treat animals very well. Meau is not an easy cat and Heleen Klausen was able to approach him very well. Meau turned 19.5 years old and I am grateful for the good care of Hart van Zuid and Heleen Klausen. Very skilled and friendly staff. Besides, my cats always get compliments for their great fur :) Only a bit expensive, but this is how it is in Amsterdam, for cheaper vets you need to look outside of the city.

Very friendly vets. Always well helped! There was a mistake recently with my appointment. I got there, it turned out that my appointment was scheduled for the week after that, but I could go the same day.
