Our local vet could not figure out what was wrong with our 14-year-old male who had already lost 25% of his weight and refused to eat. After calling around, we could urgently go to the Emmeloord Veterinary Clinic (second line) next day. They had a quick diagnosis that it was a liver disease of our cat in combination with overly active thyroid gland. Within a week the cat started eating again and is now completely old again.
